I am very pleased with these kcups as it is impossible to find Celestial Seasonings India Spice tea available in bags where I live. It has always been my favourite chai but has not been available for over a year. Finding the kcups was a real delight. I took off one star because of the cost, which seems a little high to me. Other than that, they are just like I remember, so strong it will numb your tongue. Love it!

Good flavor with a bit of zing!

Bought the India spice chai tea – Wonderful flavor, with a little vanilla protein shake for flavor, this is lovely as a chai tea latte. I was very happy with delivery although the package was a little banged up. Luckily did not affect the taste of the product in any way, so I was very happy with this tea!
Update 3/17/21 – 2nd time ordering came within 2 days of ordering, right on time! And the package was in perfect condition. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite new drinks, love that chai spice flavor! Super fragrant and tastes wonderful. I honestly do not miss getting the chai lattes anymore from Starbucks! Even better, no sugar!

A friend gave me a sample of the Cafe Escapes chai latte k-cups, and I loved it, so naturally came to Amazon to see if I could order it here.
While looking over the chai selection, I came upon this Celestial Seasonings version. Hmmm – better price, good reviews, I think I’ll give it a try.
The reason I titled this review delicious and versatile, is because it is! This is not a latte, just a wonderful spice tea for the Keurig. To make a latte, I add my own sweetener and creamer, and voila! Some days I’m in the mood for latte, some days not, and having this on hand takes care of that nicely.
This Chai has -0- calories, unlike the Cafe Escapes, which weighs in at 60 calories a cup. I still like the Cafe Escapes, and would keep it for special times, but for everyday consumption this one is for me. Like others mentioned, I find I am able to reuse the k-cup to make more than one cup. That will depend on how strong or weak you like your tea, but for me I can get 2 cups of the 10 oz size with ease. It’s great hot, or iced, as the mood demands.
This is a keeper.

Love this tea!! this tea has a specific indian flavor that is like no other. I am spoiled by the flavor and only drink this tea due to its unique taste. love the product, wish it was less expensive.

The flavor just seemed off on this tea. I’ve always been happy with other Celestial teas but not this one. Perhaps the vanilla was too strong for my taste in a chai tea. Another issue was the packaging. It was shipped in a soft envelope and was partially crushed. If I had ordered this to gift to someone, it would have been ruined. As it is, I’m not likely to drink any more than the one serving I had, regardless of the dented pods.

So I actually kinda bought this on accident. Well by accident I mean I didn’t realize it was a Chai Tea… not a Chai Tea Latte which is what I wanted to get. But India Spice sounded so good and I thought Hey, why don’t I just make a smoothie out of this? Now you should know, I don’t always think things through and at this point in time I was thinking more instant tea, less tea leaves in this cup. But that wouldn’t deter me! So I popped open a k cup, dumped it in the blender, added chia seeds for fiber and fat, some unsweetened almond milk for … milkiness. Next went frozen greek yogurt for creaminess and thickening, and while I was in the freezer I saw my leftover frozen pumpkin shake from the other day so in that went as well.
And it tasted great… until I started to get to the bottom of the smoothie where all the tea leaves were waiting. But that’s ok, because knowing what went wrong is half the battle! My next batch I use the lowest setting on my keurig (6oz) and ran two Spice Chai k cups through it and used just the liquid as the base (after letting it cool a bit.) Then I used my powdered coconut milk because I was already using more liquid than normal, greek yogurt again, few frozen portions of sweet potatoes, little plain kefir, splash of orange juice and cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, allspice and this time the base was oatmeal and flaxseed mill. Creamy, thick, delicious!

There’s a lot of pepper in this tea. Good if you like it spicy. Myself, not so much. I brew it with green tea to calm the pepper. Add a splash of creamer and sweetener, yum.

the spices are the right amount, I have tried others, always go back to spice chai

I love the flavor of chai and this is by far the best chai K-Cup out there in my opinion! I like to combine this K-Cup with a hot chocolate K-Cup to make a chocolate chai latte hot beverage in the winter (I can’t do hot stuff in the summer-lol!). If you’re looking for a good chai tea, this is the only one you should get!

I thought I was buying chai tea with milk and spices. This product is black tea. The tea is good, I like tea, but I was disappointed that it wasn’t flavored. I will add my own spices to it, but wish I had purchased the spiced tea!

Heavenly taste. Perfect balance of sweetness. Good with or without cream/creamer/milk/MCT oil powder. Comforting yet just enough caffein to give a boost.
