Tastes fine and good quality control I’ve experienced extremely sour or outright possibly contaminated batches from other manufacturers. I’ve never had one from these guys. There are other ways to get your protein in especially without all of the carbs and sugar but it is what it is.

It tastes great and I love the chocolate flavor !! I subscribe to it monthly by the case, toss a few bottles in the fridge and have one in the morning, another in the afternoon, good to go !! Whatever the doc says. It’s a great value for my money. Boosts my energy level or something. lol. Unlike some others I’ve tried, Boost actually tastes great with no yuky aftertaste. I find myself reaching for this instead of the ensure. Less sugar in boost. And surprise I am starting to like the imitation strawberry taste. I will continue to buy till my last of days. Will give the chocolate flavor a five star rating. So I was never a lover of chocolate that much, will eat it but will hardly ever choose it as a flavour, the price of this was good so I tried it and so glad I did! It tastes pretty ok without the medical weird after taste that most of these products give u and wasn’t overly sweet also wasn’t very thick, I might even say I enjoyed it. Once I see the price is right will purchase again. I use it while I am hiking, when I know that I am going to be out for the day without lunch and when I am doing any walking competitions.

I’ve been using Boost products for several years now and have tried Mocha, Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry and now Caramel. Miss Mocha but both the Chocolate and Vanilla are good. Strawberry isn’t bad but tastes the most like artifical flavoring. The newest flavor, Caramel is actually one of the very best. not overly sweet but creamy and able to cover up any vitamin notes. I like to drink one for breakfast, 20 grams of protein provides a decent amount, more than 2 eggs and 2 stips of bacon, or a bowl of oatmeal and half a cup of milk. One of the ingredients is vegetable oil, probably as a carrier for the oil-soluable vitamins, (A, D, E), but it adds a bit more calories than I like at 250. Another positive tradeoff. no artifical sweetners so no bitter aftertaste. The price has gone up, but still rating this highly for taste, nutritional value and great portability.

This is not a meal in one, but my doctor recommended it for me at a time that I was not eating well. I feel like it adds nutrition to my diet, and I enjoy the taste, but I have also returned to enjoying my meals so I use it less frequently. I came on board when the Boost Rich Chocolate Extra Protein (Green Bottle) came out years ago, it seems! I use it in place of one of my snacks, or sometimes when I am not really hungry, for lunch. Great Vitamins and Protein. This is a satisfying, perfectly smooth chocolate drink! I do not think the flavor could be better.
1. BIG NEW TIP: The new white bottle caps seem difficult to remove. The answer – use the bottom of a t-shirt to twist the lid from the bottle. It gives you the perfect grip. Be sure to keep the bottle vertical so it does not spill. Do not stop until you’ve twisted it three-four big times. Simple!
2. The thick cardboard box protects the drinks better than the thin boxes when shipping, and they are not jostled. There are still a few small dents in the medium plastic, but it never changes the flavor or causes leaks. I always buy the box of 24 single servings.

The consistency is good, not clumpy, and the vanilla flavor is ok. Dad seems to really like it and it does not upset his stomach. I appreciate the level of protein and fiber in this. That being said, Amazon keeps screwing with the price. One day it’s $35 next day it’s $45, then it’s $38 and then it’s $50 and the next day it’s $40.
