I don’t love that it has artificial flavoring, but it tastes like a cup of Red Hots candy– intensely cinnamon and sweet. My local grocery only carries the full-caff version, but I enjoy this flavored tea in the evening more often so decaf is where it’s at for me. Use a taller cup and give the steeped tea a little stir or swirl now and then to keep the full cinnamon scent & taste dispersed.

So yummy!! Would be good with milk, is a sweet nosey strawberry vanilla black tea, definitely not my favorite Harney tea but makes the lower end of the list for sure!! Only thing is this tea specifically doesn’t ship through Amazon so it takes a bit longer and my tin had the most minor dent but it’s a pliable metal so I could bend it back easily. Good tea idk if id buy again but I’m gonna finish the tin I bought and use the tin cuz it’s so cute!!

I kind of suspected the tea but was hoping it was just a weird post-baby hormone issue. I finished the tin and bought the H&S pumpkin spice decaf tea. It had a lackluster flavor, but I didn’t have the mouth issues. Crossing my fingers I bought another round of the Hot Cinnamon. After the first cup my mouth my red and sore. Such a shame because it tastes great and actually has some kick to it, which isn’t the case it a lot of flavored teas.

I live this tea, if you brew it along with a cinnamon tea, it tastes like a delicious fireball whiskey or with something that has a zing of citrus can taste like an alcoholic free old fashioned. You can also chill it and use it as a great replacement beverage for friends that don’t drink but want to pair it with a meal that goes well with a nice whiskey. I love it and its versatility as a non-alcoholic beverage that mimics the taste well. Let your creativity run free with this fun tea!

Hot Cinnamon is right!
My sister gifted me a couple of tins of this tea in a basket she put together at Christmas. I have always been ‘loyal’ to one particular brand, so this was different for me, and I immediately fell in love with the Harney and Sons brand. The flavor was so much more robust and tasty, even the scent was more powerful.
So of course I wanted to try all of the flavors this brand offers.
The Hot Cinnamon is something my husband enjoys more than I do. He loves cinnamon, and the flavor of this reminds me of fireball candies, if you can remember what those were like.
What’s especially nice is that this is caffeine-free, so he can enjoy it after doing his evening chores, and it won’t interfere with his sleep.
Knowing that these are sold in most box stores, I thought I would try there first, only to find that many of the flavors were not available in-store. So I ordered several on Amazon, and they came right away.
I have seen videos of people from other countries gathering fresh herbs and flowers right from their gardens and steeping fresh teas. So the Cherry Blossom tea, the Peppermint Herbal, Vanilla Comoro, and Hot Cinnamon, greatly appealed to me. I have also tried the Peaches and Ginger.
Popping open each tin and enjoying the fresh rich aromas is as satisfying as actually drinking the tea. I wanted something that would stand on it’s own, without added sweetener, or cream, and these do taste great.
The tins themselves are cute and look nice in the cupboards, they organize well and lock in the freshness.
If you haven’t tried this brand, I highly recommend you do.
These also make excellent gifts for friends, family, and coworkers.

When Good Earth changed their spicy formulation a few years ago I was sad, and have been without a good spicy tea ever since. But I just got my first tin of Harney and Sons decaf Hot Cinnamon and it’s lovely! Each teabag makes 2 cups of good, normal strength tea, or 1 cup of spicy, strong-as-I-like-it tea. And even using 1 teabag per cup it’s still about the same price as most 20 bag fancy teas (of which I usually use 2 per cup), plus you get a tin. Great price, great taste, pretty tin, I will certainly be a repeat customer.

It has a very good taste, but you gotta look at what you’re ordering. This one is hot, hot cinnamon and I mean hot. My best bet for me is when I have a hot water in a cup. I dip it in and take it right out because that’s all you need to do. Otherwise it’s gonna be very very strongI like the way I feel in my chest and I’ve been using it mostly because I have a lot of. Problems with my arthritis and it seems to help it’s not a miracle drug it’s tea, but it really helps me feel calm.

This is super flavorful tea! One tea bag actually brews up really strong, which I love. The aroma fills the room too, which is nice. It is pretty tart for a fruit tea, so I would add some sweetener to it, or pair it with something rich.

This is my second decaf cinnamon tea flavor from H&S. It is stunningly, delicious drink that delivers all the warmth of traditional cinnamon spice with hints of vanilla, orange, and mint. I’m usually a fan of loose tea because I prefer to brew gong fu style but this is a really good, drinkable bagged tea that I enjoy. Is great for when you want a creamy tasting drink without all the sugar of a real horchata. The flavor could be even dialed up a bit but the tea is pleasant and pretty smooth without being too bitter like a lot of bagged tea can be.

Harney and Sons make some of the best herbal teas out there. My eternal beef with herbals is the weak flavour. Even following brewing instructions, I shouldn’t end up with something that vaguely tastes like a fruit or flower if I cross my eyes and pretend really hard. Several popular brands stay hidden in the back of my tea cabinet — yes, I have a tea cabinet, I’m English — never to emerge to the light of day unless I’m gifting them along like a bad present to someone of less discerning (picky) palate.
I bought Yellow and Blue on a lark, wanting to try an herbal and knowing there’d be a strong chance it might not meet my needs. I swear, though, put ‘cornflower’ in front of anything and I will buy it. Or consider buying it. Cornflower motor oil? I’m all over it. A cornflower tea caught my eye immediately. The lavender and chamomile are positive flavours I enjoy so the blend makes a splendid brew in theory. The silk pyramidal bags also promised to make a good brew, since I find they bring out the flavours better than flat, pierced rounds or square teabags.
When brewed properly, Yellow and Blue is a perfectly serviceable herbal tea with strong hints of lavender lying over the mild chamomile. This is one tea you can let cool a fair bit without any trouble and it’s well suited to travel mugs for that purpose. I went back to it after a long meeting at work and found the richness didn’t diminish in the least. Still, it wasn’t quite the wallop to the tastebuds I hoped for, dreaming of a mouthful of fragrant, floral goodness. The fragrance came through. The taste? Not so much.
After some experimentation, I say try making a pot or cup at near boiling water, two bags strong. That made all the difference for the slightly lacklustre finish for me, and then it became a spectacular infusion of lavender and cornflower with chamomile underneath. A few dots of clover honey really polished out the rounded notes, gilding them just enough to ensure I wasn’t drinking a mouthful of petals. For those new to floral herbals, I promise it’s not like draining a vase of water from a bouquet! It’s really a delicate taste, and even doubled up for a strong brew, the taste is a symphony to the senses.
