For quantum physicist Amit Goswami, medicine is a timely area of application for the new science based on the primacy of consciousness. This new science has a spectacular ability to integrate conventional science, spirituality, and healing. If any field needs integration, says Goswami, it is medicine and healing.
Â
Goswami boldly reinterprets the leading methods of alternative medicine — homeopathy, Chinese medicine, acupuncture, Ayurveda, and conventional medicine in this new edition of his popular book. He shows how these seemingly different models can be combined into a new system of integrative medicine and offers profound insights into the relationship between physics and consciousness.Â
This approach offers physicians and patients a whole new way of applying healthcare with a greater potential for healing and could be the basis for a major paradigm shift in medicine.

The book is like new

The book is very enlightening and educational. The subject matter is applicable to some concepts that I am currently studying in regard to personal health and well being. The only complaint that I would have concerns Amit Goswami’s writing style.l He is first and foremost a physicist and may have difficulty making his ideas clear to the lay reader. It does help if one has some exposure to quantum physics in order follow the text. however, if one stays with it the reader can benefit greatly. I would recommend the book to anyone interested in this subject.

A great read for any health professional with an understanding of spirituality. This is exactly the direction we all need to be moving in.

As I study Quantum Medicine, I am certain that Dr. Goswami is providing us with the framework serious work in self healing.
Here we have the balance with academic research, spiritual study and personal integrity over time. That’s a rarity!!
He is the real deal. Take the time to find him and those who are aligned with this profound and honest consideration of the most compelling
challenges facing the health and potential of our species and some of the most stunning and relevant actions we can take individually and collectively toward shared consciousness. It is time and the path is unfolding NOW.

Must read book.

I like the Quantum Activist (Amit Goswami) very much, I love to hear what he has to say, but it is still difficult because he has been in this study for almost all of his life, and forgets that some may not understand it as well as he does. So in this book, I had to go back and forth a lot, underline things, and mark pages for later reference. Another person who writes about this is Gary Zukav, who is a little easier to understand, but also isn’t as involved as this book.

The book was a great insight! Liked the classifications of the various approach to medicine and healing

This is the book that finally defines the next frontier in medicine, the insight that the mind of the patient is the healer, argued from a purely scientific standpoint. The Whole Foods Plant-Based diet is already shifting the responsibility for our health and wellness to the patient, because diet and prevention are becoming topmost in any concept of wellness and health.
On the other hand, it is regrettable that Goswami, at the time of this writing apparently was not aware of the revolution of the Whole Foods Plant-Based diet, for if he were, he would not have had that heart operation, but gone on the Esselstyn diet, and he would not have made exception for allopathy for viagra, for ED is merely an early warning for cardiovascular disease and the only known actual cure is a whole-foods, plant-based diet without added sugar, oil or salt. Nor would he have allowed cholesterol lowering drugs, they all produce more harm than good. The whole foods plant-based diet will fix your cholesterol in short order. In short there are now two paradigm shifts going on, one is that of “let food be thy medicine,” based on the new nutritional paradigm of plant-based food, which followed from the China Study. That empowers the patient to take responsibility for their health, or in other words, that shifts the focus to the mind of the patient. That is where The Quantum Doctor comes in. That really makes it clear that well being is a decision in the mind, which then may be executed by, among other things, choosing a plant-based diet. if you stay trapped in the physiological logic of the Newtonian reality of the body, and the neurophysiological problems such as The Pleasure Trap, there is not much hope for breaking out of the food addiction.

One should have considerable background in Eastern mind and body work; as well as lay reading in quantum consciousness theory. Given that, there are good expositions and theories (with the clearest diagrams I have seen)on the subject of quantum healing. Not for the uninformed or the New Age skeptic. Once I got past some of the “jargon” I got a much clearer idea of what the author’s presentations of the concept of “collapsing consciousness” of the body in the same way observation of quantum collapse in particle theory occurs in quantum physics. This is pretty much cutting edge new age thinking. A fascinating area of inquiry (the mind/brain quantum generator idea) and one on which a lot more is to said/tested/explained.

great book good revision.
A good intro on Quantum Science

Amit Goswami is one of the very few who have offered a lucid explanation of Monistic Idealism – also called The Perennial Philosophy – in terms accessible to the modern-day reader. Moreover Dr. Goswami is unique in reconciling this profound philosophy with the newly proven truths of 21st century physics, a field in which he is an acknowledged expert. His five-level schema of human existence, so rational as to seem obvious, corresponds exactly to the five “sheaths” of existence described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. In his work Dr. Goswami draws quantum physics, psychology and medicine together into a single vast continuum.

So much important, relevant, and possibly paradigm shifting infirmnation to many people. Everybody should read this. The first third was a bit “dry” for me, hard to get into, but the rest completely made up for it. And tge first third IS needed to establish an understanding of what he is talking about throughout the rest. A must read book, although I doubt everyone will be able to appreciate it’s powerful insight and information on the first read. A book you get more and more from the more you read it, and that is not saying you cannot gain much from the first reading!

Just unputdownable. A book like no other; one that every unprejudiced, open-minded, quantum integral doctor — irrespective of one’s school of medicine — would have ordered. Recommended reading for anyone interested in wholeness, optimal health and well-being.

Good book for those who don’t know much about alternative medicine. Being myself a medical professional, I can say the book is valid in its medical perspectives. It’s very thought provoking and takes time to fully understand though. Don’t rush through it.

I have read this book twice over a span of two years. As a person who has been interested in alternative medicine for the past 30 years, I find the book to be very much on the cutting edge of current research findings and Goswami to be well versed in many areas relating to medicine, philosophy, religion, etc. He takes some liberties in his explanation of the hierarchy of our spiritual being and how it works, but the explanation seems plausible and logical. Good Read.

I only DIDN’T choose 5 stars because of my own limitations of grasping part of this! Fantastic eye opening book that is required reading for one of my classes toward my PhD in Integrative medicine & it was absolutely fascinating! Parts were over my head, but I have no doubt as I further my education in this field, that will change.
