THE BEST WHITE NOISE MACHINE EVER. LOOK NO FURTHER. I have been a mom for 7 years and over time I have become addicted to white noise when I go to sleep. I have tried quite a few white noise machines out there but this one is BY FAR the best for several reasons.
1. Variety of sounds – so many different types of fans, some higher, some lower, some softer, etc. I have quite a few I like in each category (fan, beach, rain, lullaby, etc). The meditation one is great for yoga, or just relaxing background music. The fans are great for sleep.
2. Compact and cute design – no nonsense, small, compact, yet very cute and has everything you need without being extra. Easy to use.
3. Lights!! – love that it even comes with the light and you can adjust the brightness.
4. Price – for everything considered, I’m surprised this sound machine is so affordable. I bought 3 of these to replace the ones I have at home.

Bought for my wife who enjoys falling asleep to the sound of rain it definitely helps her get to sleep quickly. While it has many other sounds ours stays on the rainfall and that is all that is needed here. Doesn’t take up too much room on the nightstand and works perfectly as well as simple to use. This is a little gem of a sound machine. First thing first, the choice of sounds is awesome. There is a good number of white noise sounds to pick from. The white noise I like is a soft whooshing fan sound and it doesn’t do that eerie thing where the white noise morphs into voices which is kind of freaky and unsettling. Besides the white noise options this machine also has a variety of nature sounds. While I don’t use those to sleep to, I do like having the option to listen to calming sounds while reading, relaxing or meditating. It’s very easy to turn on and off, adjust the volume, turn on/off the light, and change the sounds. It’s a nice compact size yet the sound isn’t pingy like some small speakers can be. I already have a sound machine but it doesn’t have nature sounds, just whooshing fan sounds, which is why I wanted to try this sound machine. Now that I have two sound machines, I’ll keep this one in the family room for the nature sounds and since it’s small and compact, I’ll take it with me when I travel.

I bought this because the Fridamom air purifier sound machine combo was not working well. The sounds were muddled together. I wanted the clear sound of rain falling. The variety of sounds that this product offers is truly amazing. My son uses it to sleep every night. It is great that it has volume control and additional color options. However, I more use the rain sound. It is portable for sure, but I wish it didn’t have to be plugged in to work. I think it does its Job well and lights up the room okay. It is not a nightlight primarily.

Before I got this little machine, if I wanted to fall asleep to the sweet, salty sounds of the ocean, I needed to listen to a conch shell. Don’t get me wrong, I quite enjoy picking up a shell and listening to it whilst closing my eyes and imagining myself at the beach, but that is enjoyable as a short pastime. Holding a shell up to your ear for five minutes can already become tiresome. Trying to maintain that all night? There’s the rub (quite literally because I was irritating my skin in this endeavor). So, after one too many nights of nearly poking my eye out when rolling over, it was time to buy a sound machine.
I did a bit of research looking at various helpful reviews, and landed on this machine (not literally, but it does seem like it could withstand it if I were to accidentally land on it). It has a plethora of sounds from which to choose, a large range of loudness, and a nightlight. So many options! But I really only needed it for my ocean noises, and it provides that reliably every night. I also like how it remembers the setting it was last at when turned off.
Overall, very pleased with my purchase. More sound, less sand. Win-win

Great sound machine! I have purchased 3 for the kids. The first 2 for the older kids have lasted well over a year with no issues. Just purchased another for the youngest transitioning to her own bedroom, same quality as the first 2. Variety of sounds, easy to use timer, sound adjustable from very soft to super loud and the light is optional but not too bright. Have and would purchase again!

The volume can be adjusted easily and it has several sound options that help one fall asleep and stay asleep. The nightlight button is helpful for trips to the bathroom in the dark. I use the continuous timer function so that it runs all night long and no noisy neighbors wake me too early in the morning as they are leaving for work. I appreciate that it plugs in so that I do not need to worry about it running out of batteries. If you do not happen to have an outlet strip with USB near your bed, you will need a USB wall plug which is not included. Highly recommend.

This is a nice little machine. It’s well made, durable, and reasonably priced. Its small size makes it a good travel companion. It has optional features I don’t have on my old white noise machine, including a night light function, and a range of sounds– waves, wind, water, rain etc — to accompany sleep. The volume can be controlled from quiet to relatively loud for such a small size.

I need this when I travel because I have to have some continuous noise so I can sleep. At home I use humidifier or room purifier but when I travel, I can hear the A/C going on and off and so it’s my sleep. This takes care of most of the disturbing noises. You plug it in, and it goes on all night long. Very easy to operate. And it has light which you can use in pitch black room if you need to take a trip to the bathroom or in the morning, it makes waking up much softer. This unit is my perfect travel companion.

I just received this sound machine. I spent about 6 hours looking at and comparing sound machines before I settled on this particular model. It has a good number of sounds for the money I spent. It also had a $4.00 off coupon at the time I purchased it. But there were no agreements about positive reviews in exchange for the coupon. I’m not getting any type of remuneration for this review or the purchase of the product. I have no connections whatsoever with the manufacturer or the seller of this product, or any employee of either. The only connection I have is my purchase of the product with my own money, and with a clearly marked $4.00 coupon on the item page. I will not receive a refund for a review either.
I haven’t used it for sleeping yet, so I’ll have to come back and update in a month or so after I’ve used it for awhile but honestly when I listen to it, it’s loud enough to drown out the garbage truck, and the thump thump of bass music playing in cars going by, as well as other household noises.
This machine is made of a lightweight plastic but does not feel delicate or flimsy. The one I bought is white with dark grey markings on the buttons. It has an orange light in the bottom of the unit which I don’t need, but if you need a nightlight it is a nice feature. I turned it off right away.
Using a regular old fashioned wooden ruler the top and bottom measure right about 4 inches, and it stands almost 2 inches tall. It has 4 little rubberized type pads about 1/3 inch wide on the bottom. They should be able to prevent most slipping and sliding but if you need a firmer non slip some velcro ought to work or one of those non skid things made to put under carpet corners. There any number of ways to prevent slipping. Like I said it’s rubbery enough that it should prevent most slippage.
The only drawback I can see is it takes one of those round plug ins. So you can’t use just any USB power cord. This has a USB cord but has that pin type end that plugs into the side of the machine.
It’s not a deal breaker, but you can’t just pull out one of those USB cords, to replace it, that I’m sure everyone has in their junk drawer. LOL. A power brick is included which is very nice because you won’t have to juggle charging your phone, tablet , laptop and etcetera with using the sound machine all night. Cudos for an included power brick!
So I got this little machine for $15.00 and change plus tax.
I just opened the box, and removed the power brick and the power cord and plugged all of it up and in. The power button is clearly visible, and easy to press. The buttons are a good size and far enough apart that someone with big hands and fingers can press each button without pressing other buttons at the same time. Cudos to the person who designed this machine for the well thought out placement of the buttons. The buttons do NOT light up, so if you need buttons that light up go with a different machine. I don’t require light up buttons so they’re fine for me.
Honestly even kids could operate this sound machine without instructions. I figured it out in a couple of minutes, without looking at the instructions, but I had them nearby just in case.
The buttons are arranged in a semicircle around the top of the machine just above the speaker which is in the center of the top. It’s a nice sized speaker. Each button is clearly marked with the operation it is for. I ran through all the sounds for which there are forward and backwards buttons, so you can go through the sounds from either direction. I need reading glasses and I could see these marking fine without reading glasses. Each button is a little over 3/4 an inch, and the speaker grill is approximately 2 inches wide and circular in shape, and it sits directly in the center on the top. There are 5 indicator lights that reflect the timer if you choose to use that function and they are a very bright white color when in use.
The timer function can be set easily by turning the machine on a pressing the button with a clock face, and can be set for 1,2,3 or 4 hours, or infinite play with no time limit.
The volume up and down buttons are clearly marked, and to go either up and down in volume doesn’t take a lot of clicks. There is a comfortable increase of sound for each click. Cudos for that also. I’ve bought items before that take many many clicks to get to a good volume. This little machine gets LOUD.

Timer goes for max of 4 hours but when I wake up for my usual bathroom run I’ll turn it back on buttons are easy to feel and find in the dark. It can also run consistently which I may try as well. You have to find the right sound for you. LOL the first night the white noise one actually kept waking me up vs the industrial fan noise. Only thing I don’t like is the small LED light when it’s on as it lights up my room and I like it super dark, but I guess I could put electrical tape over it.

We primarily bought this for our dogs to block noise at night or blocking the sound of thunder as we have one who hates thunder. I have even used this and it’s very relaxing! I think this could also be used as a focus tool for someone who enjoys background noise. There are many sounds and color options. I enjoy how you can dim the light to your preference. There is a train sound which blares a horn at the beginning that I thought was odd lol I think the horn could be removed but may just be a personal preference. I like that this is controllable on an app and that you can use it plugged in or unplugged if charged up so it’s portable. We got this on sale for $23 but right now it shows for $39.99. Not sure if I would want to pay full price. Maybe if there were some improvements to the app or different features. Being able to stack sounds would be really cool! Don’t get me wrong, it’s done exactly what we wanted it too each time – maybe it’s where Edit is misspelled on the Home Screen that gave me the initial feeling of the app needing updated 😂 There was another product that I ran across after purchasing this with a clock that can be used as an alarm clock to wake you with lights that resemble the sunrise in the $40-$50 range. But for the primary use of a sound machine with lights I would definitely recommend this if you can catch it on sale!
