I have been using a fan for about 25 years now to help me sleep at night. I had to have that white noise. With electricity prices on the rise like everything else I figured it was time for a change. I knew this would use a lot less energy than a fan. It has helped us shave about $25-30 a month off our electric bill. It is also better than a fan because of all of the sound options and I can adjust the volume as needed. It is also easy to pack up and take on trips with me so now I don’t have to use an app on my phone when we are away on vacations. So happy with this purchase.

This sound machine is perfect for my guest room. It’s small, has a night light if desired, large range of sounds, plenty of variation in volume, and great timer options (longest being continuous). We use it to create fire sounds to go with our electric fireplace but enjoy some of the other water sounds and bird sounds as well. There are about 25 I think. I agree with another reviewer that the only negative is that you have to cycle through all the sounds to find the one you want. You can’t choose one by number. This doesn’t bother us at all, but could be a negative for some. We love this little thing!

I’ve used this for a while, and I’m very pleased with it. I have it on my night stand. I have a traditional, analog, Marpac-style white noise fan, but I love rain sounds so I wanted to try a digital sound machine. I didn’t think it would be very good, but I love it.
PROS:
– Wide variety of sounds, and they all sound good.
– Timer function is nice, and it fades out the sound as opposed to abruptly cutting it off.
– Looks very nice. I got the black one and it blends in well. I don’t like the look of all those bright white sound machines meant for nurseries.
– The light is soft so it’s very nice lighting for my nightstand right before I go to bed.

Great white noise machine. I was diagnosed with tinnitus and I looked at hearing aids, but they were not for me just because I needed something at night to mask the high pitch ringing. This device was easy to use with many sound options. I found the one I liked and now I am a sleep within 5 mins and have been sleeping well every since. I would highly recommend this device keeping in mind this runs on AC which is fine with me.

I love this thing! I’ve tried apps and played videos on YouTube. This sound machines does the trick for me. The sleep apps have killed my phone over night or videos have played on to other videos over night. This sound machine has many sounds, volume control and a timer. Best of all you can travel with it. It’s small and totally packable. I don’t know why but the baby lullaby knocks me out. I’m afraid that if I ever hear that lullaby while out and about I may get sleepy, lol. I do also list things in alphabetical order in my head and I’ve only made it to Z once in weeks. Like list animals or foods from A to Z. This sound machine is great for anyone, it has a night light too. You’re on here because you want help falling and staying asleep, please try this. It’s worth it.

I have developed sporadic insomnia. In my quest to find products that will help me sleep, I thought about getting a sound machine, since rain and thunderstorm sounds always make me drift off. Truth be told, I bought this machine for a White Elephant Christmas Gift (less than $25 limit). I ended up back with it, much to my delight. The sound machine works well and does help me fall asleep. I also like the ability to set it for the number of hours I would like it played. My suggestions for improvement include making the buttons rubberized; the current plastic buttons are loud at night when turning it on or finding the right sound. I’d also appreciate lighted buttons that turn off a few seconds after they are pressed so they are easier to use at night as well. Also, the variety of sounds could be improved as well. I was so hoping for a thunderstorm sound, but no luck. Overall, I am pleased with this machine, which is super easy to travel with as well. Great price!
