This is my favorite retinol serum. I usually put it on after moisturizing which helps my skin adjust to the retinol. It’s not too thick or thin and I only need a pea sized amount to cover my face.

I already saw results on the first day. I’ve noticed that some of ny whiteheads are popping up and the next day you can feel all the dirt (as per the photo) and your skin feels smoother. I use it at night and always follow up with moisturizer. This is good for sensitive skin coz it doesn’t purge your skin at all.

I bought CeraVe Vitamin C Serum with Hyaluronic Acid, Skin Brightening Serum for Face with 10% Pure Vitamin C, Fragrance Free, 1 Fl. Oz because it’s fragrance free. I apply Clinique face lotion before applying this. My face has not had any problems with redness or burning. It is not greasy. It absorbed and does not pill. It has made my face feel smoother. I will be getting this product again. Plus the price is right.

I’ve been using the CeraVe Anti‑Aging Retinol Serum for a couple weeks, and while I can’t see a big difference yet, I can definitely feel that it’s doing something. I’ve been using the CeraVe Skin Renewing Retinol Serum for a few weeks, and I can already see a big improvement in my skin’s texture. My fine lines look softer, and my face feels smoother and more hydrated. The serum absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. However, the results are modest at best. After consistent use over several weeks, improvements in texture and tone were minimal, making scarcely any difference in evening out tone and line reduction. The low retinol concentration likely makes it suitable for beginners, but those expecting visibly transformative effects may find it underpowered.
A decent starter product, but not a standout if you’re already accustomed to more potent formulations. A reliable brand and easily accessible but for the same reason very entry level and overall lackluster results as compared to another brand i’ve entirely switched to.

Very good product for aging and even just for skin clarity, it’s a lightweight product with a good feel to the skin, it absorbs well and Its a good amount for the price. Could be more in it but nevertheless it’s a good product.

I am enjoying using this serum – I think it is making a difference in my wrinkles! It goes on easily with no oil or greasiness. It is very moisturizing. This serum makes my skin soft. I use CeraVe moisture cream along with it, and CeraVe cream to foam face wash.

“Rufus” quotes a customer as saying that this serum is one percent retinol. However I could not find any info on the website or the packaging that stated the percentage of retinol. The product appears to be weak in retinol and doesn’t do a good job when it comes to anti aging. I’m going to stick with Paula’s Choice one percent retinol serum and similar serums that actually state how much retinol is in the product.

I have very sensitive skin and this cream does not bother me at all. Nothing in this brand has ever caused me any issues.And it’s very hard to find skin care that I can use. Normally, I would get chemical burn on my skin even under my eyes from something that is normally for sensitive skin.But this does not cause any issue whatsoever , even if I put it on multiple nights in a row.

I feel like most retinol‘s always have a burning sensation on me. This one does not it’s very gentle. However, I can’t say I have noticed any differents in the timeframe I’ve been using it.

This is by far my favorite retinol when it comes to a beginner or anyone that has highly sensitive dry, raw irritated skin. Most people focus on the percent concentration of retinol or retinaldehyde or tretinoin, but the biggest problem with that is it matters more that you use the product on a daily consistent basis. Now, while some people are able to tolerate very high percentages of retinol and its other forms, I personally have a really hard time tolerating high dose retinol. I continue to come back to this product over the years. It’s definitely more expensive than I would like. I think if it was a $15 price point that would be perfect value for money that being said it does a great job of giving me glass skin and enhancing the overall clarity of my skin. The best part being that I can use is slightly over many thick layers of serums and creams without my face feeling like it’s being burned off the next morning. If you struggle like me with retinol, apply a medium to thick moisturizer of your choice. Wait, at least 10 minutes and then apply one to two pumps of this retinol at night time that buffering of moisturizer and thyme will help this retinal be tolerated better. It also has encapsulated retinol which slows the release. I doubt anyone is still reading this, but if you are, I used to be really upset that they did not disclose the retinol percent i’m assuming it’s below 0.3% that being said I notice a considerable change in my skin where I know it’s working. I also still do get a little bit of dryness if I don’t wait 10 min after skin care , which allows me to know that this is in fact having an impact on my skin.
