I bought this cotton throw for my Yorkiepoo because all the fleece blankets that I own were causing way too much static. Her hair was literally standing on end. Thankfully this blanket definitely helps with the static, I just wish it was a little softer. It just feels very stiff. While my dog doesn’t seem to mind, I’m still going to try using fabric softener and washing it a few times more. Hopefully that will help to soften it a bit.

When I opened the blanket it had spots of orange glow paint it. I washed it hoping it would come out, unfortunately it didn’t. It is not as soft as I would have liked it, but since I washed it I don’t think I can return it. It fits the bed well and hopefully it will get softer after more washes.

I wanted a lightweight, versatile, easy-to-wash blanket to layer between my sheets and bedspread, and this purchase met my wishes. It fits nicely on a queen-size bed, and was a good price. I like “light layers” both in clothing and dressing a bed, and this blanket allows me to use it in summer and add quilts as needed in winter. I think it’s plenty soft, but don’t expect it to feel like fleece or some uber-soft microfiber-type fabric. It feels like what it is…cotton, and I like that.
