Not quite the distinct patterns of rose, golden tan, and black markings I’m used to. More of a brownish mauve all over with less distinct markings of a darker brown and white …but it is still a pretty stone and thick too. It is actually similar to the amazon ad photo – which should have been a clue thatbit wouldn’t look like my other rhodonite pieces. I just assumed the lighting was off in the photo. I have another Rhodonite heart ( as well as a sphere and tower) that have the markings I’m used to My other Rhodonite heart it is not as thick and heavy as this onr. I attached a photo showing a side by side comparison of the two hearts. You can see how thick the brownish-mauve one is compared to the pink/black/gold one.
