I ordered three sets of Amazonite (matte) beads in sizes 4mm, 6mm, and 8mm, but the product does not match the description at all.
– The 4mm beads were only 342 instead of 370. That’s enough missing beads for another necklace. They also don’t really look matte – they have a slight shine. Not fully glossy, but definitely not truly matte. I would say they are somewhat matte at best. Most of them are 4.5 – 4.6mm, and some are 4.3mm. The smaller ones look like defects when strung together.
– The 6mm beads were 237 instead of 240 – not a big issue, but still short.
– The 8mm beads were the worst: only 92 instead of 95, and they were clearly glossy, not matte, even though the label says “matte”. Most are 8.6mm, and some go up to 8.7mm. A size difference of 0.1 – 0.3mm is normal, but 0.5 – 0.7mm is very noticeable – the beads look too big and inconsistent.
Also, about 5 beads per strand are damaged or defective and cannot be used.
I added photos to show everything clearly. In the pictures, you can also see a necklace I made earlier with real matte 8mm Amazonite beads – the flash doesn’t reflect on them, and their size is consistent (about ±0.1 – 0.3mm). You can clearly see that the new beads from this seller look glossier and bigger.
Maybe I was just unlucky, and other buyers got better quality. But in my case, the product did not match the description at all, and the quality was very disappointing. For the price, I expected much better. I do not recommend this seller.

I purchased these for the groomsmen in my sons wedding in October. They are well made and true to the picture and identification. Don’t know how long they last as the men can’t wear them until wedding day but they seem to be durable

Amethystperlen fallen naturgemäß variabel aus, da das Mineral aus verschiedenen Bändern besteht – mal hell, mal dunkel, mal transparent, mal opak-milchig.
Meine gelieferten Perlen haben eine sattere Farbe aus auf dem Bild. Sie sind überwiegend ziemlich opak-dunkellila mit einigen helleren Perlen dazwischen. Sehr ebenmäßig geschliffen und poliert.

These are dyed or altered. They look nothing like the 1st photo in the listing. For proof I have added a video. Amethyst does NOT turn orange under UV lights, (some dyes do). I currently have these soaking to see how bad they bleed. if you are looking for NATURAL AMETHYST Purchase elsewhere!!! Do not waste your money.

I understand that natural stones will vary in appearance and won’t look exactly 1 for 1 with photo listings but my problem is that the amethyst listed looks like a completely different type of amethyst than what I received :/ not confident that it’s legit amethyst either as it looks dyed but I’ll still use it, still disappointed though
