This pillow top is comfortable, but it’s not as soft or plush as I originally expected. It does add an extra layer of comfort to the bed, just with a firmer feel than a true “sink-in” pillow top.
My daughter has been using it and would like one softer. I’d say it’s decent and does what it’s meant to do, but if you’re looking for something noticeably softer or more luxurious, it may be worth spending a bit more on a higher-end option.
Overall, it’s a solid choice for moderate comfort, and the mixed reviews seem accurate, it really comes down to personal preference around softness.

I recently added this mattress topper to my bed, and the immediate difference in comfort is undeniable. It feels incredibly soft and fluffy, almost like sleeping on a cloud, and it is definitely a massive upgrade over my current mattress. One thing I really appreciated right out of the box was that the straps are stretchy and thick enough to easily secure over the mattress without any struggling. The extra elevation it provides feels great and gives the bed a much more luxurious feel than before. However, I am a bit skeptical about it actually being a full 3 inches thick as advertised. I’m wondering if I just need to let it air out and “inflate” a little bit longer to reach its full height, but that uncertainty is the only reason I’m knocking off a star.
The only real issue I’ve run into since putting it on is that my flat sheet doesn’t want to cooperate anymore. Because of that added height and fluffiness, my current sheets just aren’t deep enough to tuck in properly, so they keep popping off the corners. If you’re planning on getting this, you might want to double-check that you have deep-pocket sheets to accommodate the extra loft. Aside from the sheet struggle and the thickness question, it really has improved my sleep quality. It’s a solid value if you want a softer sleeping surface, just be prepared for the possibility that it might not hit that exact 3-inch mark even after it settles.

Very comfy! Makes my back feel so much better!

I was looking for a cushiony, pain relieving mattress topper that is washable. This is a very well made, nice mattress PAD. It fits exactly and has a nice large skirt (not elastic straps). Yes, it “inflated” fully in the dryer. That isn’t the issue. It’s puffy, but has minimal fiber fill and will not support an adult for the purposes claimed, of relieving pain, etc… I weigh 118 lbs. It’s really just a mattress pad with a little extra fluff. I will not deduct stars, because it IS really nice, but not for the purpose of making a hard bed softer or for supporting your body up off of a hard mattress. The bed is still hard and this is just a mattress pad. The border is thicker than the the inner squares.

I took a bit of a gamble on this mattress pad because the listing only showed one size and didn’t clearly specify dimensions. When it arrived, the box listed the size as 39 x 75 inches, which fits a twin mattress.
The fit is decent overall. It was easy to put on – loose enough that my 11-year-old was able to install it herself – but the padded portion still covers almost the entire top of the mattress. It could be slightly tighter to prevent shifting or bunching, but I appreciated how easy it was to get on.
In terms of comfort, my daughter says it’s super soft and very comfortable. It’s extremely squishy and plush, but it’s not firm at all and does not provide real support. This pad works more as extra padding to soften a mattress, especially one where you can feel the springs, rather than something that adds structure or support.
The material seems like good quality and feels breathable. It’s not memory foam or dense padding—it’s more like pockets of fluffy fill, which makes it soft without feeling stiff or heavy. I could see it wrinkling or bunching a bit during sleep, but my daughter hasn’t complained at all and says it noticeably cushions the mattress.
I haven’t washed it yet, but based on the construction, I expect it to wash fine.
I’m not sure of the current price since the product is no longer available, but under $20, I’d consider this a solid option for a child’s bed. I wouldn’t buy it for myself, since it doesn’t offer support, but for kids who just need a little extra softness, it works well. You could achieve a similar effect with folded plush blankets, but this keeps everything neatly in place.
Overall, a comfortable and easy-to-use mattress pad—just don’t expect it to be truly “supportive.”

Definitely not 3 inches thick…

No meet my expectations.

This mattress pad arrived neatly packaged and—thankfully—no weird chemical or factory smell at all, which is always my first concern with bedding. I was able to put it straight on the bed without airing it out.
The deep fitted pockets are legit. It went on easily and stayed in place, even with a thicker mattress, so no wrestling match required. As a mattress protector, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
That said, I want to be realistic about expectations. While the listing describes this as extra thick padded, I wouldn’t personally call it cushy or plush. It’s more of a standard mattress pad with a bit of added fluff, not a topper that’s going to noticeably change the feel of your mattress. If you’re trying to revive a too-firm mattress or looking for cloud-like softness, this isn’t that product.
If, however, you want something clean, breathable, well-fitting, and comfortable enough for everyday use, this does the job just fine. It adds a light layer of comfort and protection without overheating.
Bottom line:
✔ No odor
✔ Fits securely with deep pockets
✔ Works well as a mattress pad/protector
✖ Not truly “extra thick” or plush
Good product—as long as you buy it for what it actually is, not what the marketing makes it sound like.

This foam mattress topper never expanded to 3 inches after I removed it from the packaging. In fact, it was only about 1 inch. It felt like a heavy mattress topper, adding only bulk and barely any comfort.

I ordered the Extra-Thick, King-Sized Padded Mattress Topper by Wqspring because my husband and I own a mattress that is over ten years old and is starting to get some divots. We keep saying we need to get a new mattress, but I just keep rotating the mattress and trying to slap temporary fixes on it, making it last just a few months longer. The temporary fixes to fix the divots where the springs have sprung are not working so well, anymore. I’m just too cheap to buy another mattress, unless I absolutely love it. So far the mattresses I have looked at are okay; but not what I’m willing to spend several hundred dollars for. Besides, our bedroom is in the attic, and there are several 90 deg turns to make and a steep staircase to get up, and it will be extremely difficult to get this mattress down and a new one upstairs.
This Extra-Thick, King-Sized Padded Mattress Topper, by Wqspring is like sleeping on a brand new mattress. Holy crow, how soft and comfy!! It was difficult getting out of bed already, and facing temperatures of 20 deg Fahrenheit and lower already, in the morning, but it’s even MORE difficult to leave the bed now, with this mattress topper. I wish I had ordered this months ago. I have a queen-sized bed, and this mattress-topper is King-Sized, but it still fit like a glove. The corners have elastic to grip tightly under your mattress and stay in place. It fit perfectly and did not cause any problems with my fitted sheet or flat sheet, when I made our bed. I love the Extra-Thick, King-Sized Padded Mattress Topper by Wqspring and highly recommend it. 5 stars.
Comfort: Extremely comfortable! Very soft.
Sleep quality: Oooh, I fell asleep much faster. I woke up better, not draggy. My body felt rested, not aching.
Fit: It fits perfectly, even on a queen-sized bed.
Quality: This is good quality. It’s soft and fluffy.
Thickness: It’s thick, but not too thick. The package arrives vacuum-sealed. When you open it, you need to shake it out and let it fluff up a bit, from being compressed. Then put it on your bed, make your bed up and let it continue fluffing for a few hours, before sleeping on it.
Value for money: This is such a good value for your money. Seriously. It’s so comfy. I look for excuses just to sit up on my bed, now.

I purchased this due to other very positive reviews, but I’m not impressed. It’s okay, but not the best. Definitely not as thick as advertised. I followed instructions and let it expand/breathe (I actually let it sit out for 4 days). I then fluffed it in the dryer hoping that would help more, but it didn’t. It fits fine and doesn’t seem to slide around, but the comfort is missing for me.
Heather Hogue –
This is nothing more than a regular ole mattress cover and a dime a dozen.
Ashleigh Hass –
This mattress topper is very soft and fluffy. Absolutely reminds me of a cloud! But I wasn’t impressed with it as a “topper”, which I expect to feel really thick and sturdy, like adding a memory foam layer, or extra thickness to my mattress. It instead just feels like an extra fluffy mattress pad. It is well made, and the fit, especially if you need deep pockets, is great. In fact it kind of blows my mind how DEEP these pockets are! This would be great to use as a mattress pad over an actual mattress topper! It does breath well so you won’t overheat, and I even tested it with a floor futon, and it worked great for that as well. There was no funky smell to it which is a big concern for me. It definitely improves a bad mattress (but doesn’t cure it.) Again, very soft, and comfortable. A good value as well! But think of it as a thick mattress pad, not a mattress topper!

As someone else pointed out, and I can confirm, this is not a mattress topper – it is more accurately a mattress pad.
That said, it’s a nice one – well-constructed, able to accommodate amattress without slipping.
I picked it up because after buying two custom mattresses for oddly-shaped beds in the guest rooms at our historic house, and we decided to hold off on replacing our own mattress right away, in order to prioritize spending money on some other projects first.
I should say that our master bedroom mattress is not actually terrible, so much as just mediocre, older, and not our preference, so in our case the pad actually made a positive impact.
I can definitely feel a difference in cushioning sleeping on it, and it’s nice to sink into at the end of the day.
We ordered the king size, and it mostly fit our mattress; the padded part fell just a few inches short of the end, but at the bottom of the bed this doesn’t matter too much.
As for the claim of three inches, it’s definitely not. It’s maybe an inch and a half, tops. So if you’re looking for something to revitalize a really bad mattress until you can get something better, you’re better off spending a little more and buying a thicker, true foam topper. If you have an okay mattress and would just like a little more cushion to sink into at night, this is a good option.

At first it was nice , but now , 2 months later, the foam is starting to keep permanent shapes and really feel bad in certain spots when laying down. Soon I will need to dispose of it and it’s inconvenient to get rid of large items. What a waste 🙁
