The tools are made of a nice smooth resin. They are easy to use, and feel cool on the skin. However, as a Gua Sha tools, I found the one larger comb to be clunky and awkward. The edge is very thick and rounded, and doesn’t really gently scrape the skin, so much as just roll over it, or push the skin. The little rakes feel good on the scalp, but again, the resin is thick and rounded with no grab. Smaller tips would feel amazing and help promote circulation better. The price is $9.99 at the time of review, which seems reasonable. Honestly though, I don’t love the feel of this one when using, even tough they are nice looking pieces that are a nice weight.

I received thid scalp massage tool set and wanted to leave an honest review.
While the set is pretty and comes nicely packaged, it just didn’t work for me. The tools feel bulky and I found them awkward to hold and maneuver around my face and jawline. For facials I want smoother, more traditional shapes, and these felt a bit clunky and really uncomfortable on my skin.
The scalp comb also didn’t provide the type of massage I was hoping for. The pressure felt uneven, and distracting. I didn’t notice any improvement in tension with regular use.
Now with that said I do see how these might appeal to others. The tools seem well-made sturdy, and some people may enjoy the odd shapes or sensation especially for a scalp massage. If you’re new to gua sha or like experimenting with massage tools this could still be worth trying.
Overall, it’s not a product I’ll continue using but it may work for those who enjoy firmer tools or alternative designs.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened these. They are well made with no sharp edges. The smooth sleek design makes them easy to use. If you know what you are doing they are quite effective at helping one to relax at the end of the day.

I ordered this because I wanted to try and use them for scalp massage to help me relax for bed because I’ve struggled with insomnia badly- it’s easy for me to stay up 24 hours at a time. I use these if I’m laying in bed and can’t sleep, I just massage my head and even used the gua sha side of the tool to massage my face too and it actually did do a lot for me in helping me relax. I think there was a lot of tension in my scalp and face and I didn’t even feel it until I used these tools to massage those areas.
I think this set is a terrific value for what you’re getting and I love that they’re acrylic because they won’t break as easily as jade or other crystals that these are typically made from. I think it will also make it way easier to clean them because they’re not crystal so there won’t be any issues with getting these wet (crystals can get destroyed if you expose them to water apparently) to clean them. You could even use them in the shower or the bath because of that too.
I like that there’s a set of two of the same tool because you can use both at the same time on yourself which is even more relaxing, or use it on someone else. Either way, it’s very relaxing! I’m super happy with this set and would highly recommend it if you’re looking at it.

I bought this for better health, and for relaxation. I find the Gua Sha tools to be a bit ineffective die to the thickness of the tool, but it is strong and robust for those reasons as well. Instead of scraping like you would want it to, it sort of glides over the skin instead. It is overall quite smooth, but there are some *slightly* not smooth ridges where the tool was put together, like a seam. Apart from those things, they are well-made, pretty, and good quality tools for the reasonable price

The first time I used these combs they gave me instant relief from a tension headache and helped me sleep better than I had in weeks. Running the rakes over your head is extremely relaxing and calming. I’ve turned it into part of my nightly ritual. Brush my hair so I have no tangles, then use these combs on my scalp and neck and turn them around so I can use as a gua sha on my face. These are made of sturdy plastic that looks like expensive stone and that makes them a great choice for travel because they’re very lightweight. They function as they should and are easy to clean. I either wash them in the shower with shampoo or soak in a sink of hot water and shampoo along with my hair combs and brushes. If I use these after applying my nightly skincare creams or hair treatments they tend to get dirty quickly. Good price point. Would make an excellent spa day gift. Bonus: cats LOVE these.

I ordered this set of massage tools because my daughter has been having headaches in the evenings recently. I was hoping that these might help soothe some of her symptoms, especially since we’re pretty sure that it’s caused by stress. These massage tools seem to help although she said she likes it better when I use the tools on her head rather than her using the tools herself.
These massage tools are well constructed. They feel solid in your hand. We realized slightly accidentally that they can be chilled and then used to massage and it really helps increase the effect. They come in a nice little bag that would make a good gift for anyone who would like a set like this. I need to go back and double check some of the shapes to see how they’re supposed to be used but so far we are very happy with this set. I would highly recommend it.
