Surprisingly good! Left Starbucks decaf bc it was too expensive and their process uses chemicals to decaffeinate. This coffee uses the Swiss water method to extract most of the caffeine which produces a smooth, clean cup of coffee. Currently, using a French press bc I do not want the plastics from a drip pot to interfere with my beverage, and am pleasantly satisfied.

This is as good a decaf Italian Roast as Starbucks or other premium brands, though a touch smoother which some may not prefer. I use decafs to make 50% half-caf cups of coffee and the smoother flavor mixes very well with other brands. Caffeine does have a flavor so it’ll never be quite like regular coffee but at a minimum, it’s as good as Gevalia’s or Peet’s decaf so you won’t be disappointed.

Ask for expiration date. This bag is dated June 2026. I’m not a huge coffee drinker but this brand sounds intriguing with medium dark roast, velvety rich bittersweet taste. Will it be fresh enough to experience the claims? It’s not returnable or anything and it’s my 2nd try on ordering a good decaf. (This yr.) So,.. yes! It is a very good cup of coffee! The grinds sound and look velvety, amazing! The Swiss Water Method gives this coffee a complete calm from bag to tummy. I have had no ‘mid morning fall’ or upset stomach. The hot aroma coming up to the lips is mild but pictures of a bittersweet treat, so early, make smiling all morning an easy and welcomed outcome. I will be ordering again. Thank you for this Brand in you offerings.

I’m slowly switching to decaf and trying to find a tolerable brand. This one has become my favorite over a well known popular brand that I found to be bitter. I made a pot over the weekend and didn’t tell hubby it was decaf- he didn’t notice but he did say the flavor was really good. I will try other brands, but I will always have this one on hand.

I have bought this coffee several times and really liked the taste; however, lately it has a strong bitter taste to it. I can handle a little bitter taste but that is definitely stronger.
