This wonderful extract with its alcohol-free all natural content has really benefited me. My mood is lighter and brighter, and, my sleep is more restful. What a great combination of benefits! Good smell and taste with easy to use liquid formula. Effective, durable, and a wonderful value!

Like some other reviewers I initially did not like this tincture as I was skeptical of a water-based extraction for mucuna pruriens. I’ve been harsh on some of this companies (Amazing Botanicals) extractions in the recent past and I was pretty much ready to not like this extraction as it tasted funny, was water based and claimed to be potent. It seems like a bold move to go with water as a solution when glycerin or alcohol are the most popular so initially I was very skeptical. It tasted to me like dish soap diluted in water the first time I tried it and I left it for later.
Now it’s later and I decided I’d give it another try and this time I could see it in a better light and I could see that the liquid was slightly brown in color and the strange soapy-like taste was the taste of raw velvet bean mixed with lavender diluted in water. I know of a foolproof way to test the effects of the phyto-chemicals in mucuna pruriens and I was surprised to conclude that a dropper full did in fact have a significant amount of L-dopa and I was no longer skeptical of this extraction. I am still wondering why they chose water and if that water is in fact completely clean. The other thing I seemed to experienced with every dose is stomache cramps and a feeling of possible pathogens in my digestive system which lasted about a day. It seemed to go away after I stopped taking this tincture and was there again the next time I tried it. Either it’s a coincidence or something in this tincture is bothersome to my bowels so one drop of methylene blue to purify the solution was needed in my case but the tincture is potent and also it is a pretty decent price.

They taste just like a bit of vinegar. I stopped all of my supplements for two weeks and took two squeeze of these daily. I honestly can’t say I feel anything. Whatever it claims it’s suppose to do it isn’t enough.

I have used lots of different vitamins, minerals, herbs, and tinctures over the years, but this was my first time trying mucana extract, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I have been using this off and on for the last month. It has a thin consistency and is light amber in color. It smells worse than it tastes, but it does have an unappealing aroma; it smells, to me, like sour rotting garbage – and believe it or not, that is actually wording it better than what it actually smells like to me. So, needless to say that is one thing I definitely don’t like about the product. The upside is it’s super easy to take, it doesn’t have a strong taste and is very easy to dilute in a small amount of water or tea, which helps with the smell as well. When I do take it, I tend to have an improved mood, more energy and focus, I feel more relaxed, and I tend to sleep better, which I definitely like. Honestly, overall, I think it is a good quality product and, given its effectiveness, a relatively good value; my experience with it has been positive.

Pros: No taste, and I appreciate that it’s alcohol-free and there is an expiration date on it (I refuse to use any herbal product without an expiration). No adverse side effects when using.
Cons: the dropper is not measured so you can’t tell how much of the dropper you’re supposed to be using exactly. Also, the product heading says it’s organic but there is zero mention of organic on the bottle itself which I find sus.

The first thing I did before trying it was smell it, which I’m very glad I did, because it has a very offensive smell. It reminds me of deer corn, or something similar, that’s in a container out side, covered in water and under the very hot sun, fermenting and becoming sour for numerous days. It smells very foul.
Because of the foul smell, I’m concerned it has gone bad, therefore I haven’t tried it and can’t speak as to its effectiveness.
One other thing I am very surprised about, more in a negative way, is that it is not made with vegetable glycerin or alcohol but rather with potassium sorbate a preservative which some say has genotoxic or mutagenic (negative cellular) effects.
Anyways I don’t recommend this, there must be better options for this herb.

I looked up this ingredient and found it to be beneficial for stress and anxiety. I used to drink alcohol regularly, and about 9 months ago I basically quite altogether. Most days, I make myself a mocktail with different herbs or magnesium etc. to give myself an evening routine without alcohol.
I added a fairly decent amount of this into a flavored seltzer. The taste was not bad at all, which is great. I did feel like it added to a sense of calmness which is also great.
I have ordered multiple items from this company before, and they are always exactly what I want.

I decided to give this Mucuna liquid extract a try, and I’m glad I did. I’ve been using it for a little while now, and I just feel a bit more even-keeled throughout the day. My head feels a little clearer, and I’ve got a better sense of focus on my tasks. The fact that it’s alcohol-free and organic is a big plus in my book—it feels like a cleaner supplement to take. It’s a straightforward product that seems to do what it’s supposed to, and I’ll keep using it. Very effective!

I’ve been using Amazing Botanicals’ Mucuna liquid extract for two weeks, taking 2 drops daily with water before meals. The alcohol-free, water-based formula is gentle on the stomach and absorbs quickly. As someone who takes several supplements for stress support, I appreciate the clean ingredients without fillers or glycerin. The dropper makes precise dosing easy, though it needs to be taken with plenty of water. While subtle, I’ve noticed improved mood stability and mental clarity throughout the day. The 30ml bottle lasts a month at recommended dosage. A quality option for those seeking natural dopamine support without artificial additives.

This organic Mucuna tincture is a blend of premium botanical ingredients with no additives or fillers. It has been third party tested to ensure purity and potency. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when starting this supplement. The tincture has a herbal taste with notes of lavender and is easy to take. It has a calming effect while also helping to reduce fatigue and brain fog. I also found it effective in boosting my general mood. If you are looking for a supplement that is a dopamine booster, calming and helps to enhance focus and energy, this one is worth a try.

I was interested in trying these Mucuna drops because they are alcohol- and glycerin-free. I wish the labeling more closely matched the product descriptions—for example, organic extract and lavender are mentioned, but neither appears on the bottle, and GMP certification isn’t indicated. Interestingly, the bottle lists the company as Amazing Botanicals, while the product description shows Nature’s Craft.
It would also be helpful if proper storage instructions were included, since water-based drops are more fragile and don’t last as long as alcohol- or glycerin-based ones. The liquid is watery, as expected. I didn’t notice any effects.

I found this organic Mucuna liquid extract from Amazing Botanicals to be a very interesting supplement to try for a senior like me. The product matches its description in that visual inspection supports the claims of delivering a conservative dose of Mucuna pruriens, a precursor to dopamine which is a neurotransmitter essential for normal function that naturally declines in older adults, leading to apathy, low motivation, mental fatigue, early neurodegeneration, and some forms of depression. Thus, the literature suggests a gentle boost can support mood and motivation, energy, stress resilience, and athletic or cognitive enhancement.
I have used this product conservatively for a month after a cursory inspection that indicated adequate quality for my use: a pale yellow, somewhat cloudy appearance; neutral, earthy taste; not sweet; and leaving a thin, mostly clear, non-sticky non-volatile residue when left to air dry. This inspection satisfied my concerns about quality given that Amazing Botanicals is an online botanical supplement brand with limited publicly available independent testing or accreditation information to verify quality, which for me always results in a lower-than-five-star rating. I will definitely continue to use this product and will keep Mucuna pruriens herbal extract on my radar because the underlying research supporting its role as a dopamine precursor is compelling.
