This is a great roller. It was recommended by a physical therapist and I have have very good results. For the cost you sure can’t beat it. I will buy another to keep at the office. I would recommend it to anyone.

I’ve been looking for an affordable way to get some relief from muscle soreness and tightness, and this density foam roller has been the perfect solution. I found it on Amazon at a fantastic price, and it’s already a staple in my home gym.
The firm density of this roller is excellent for targeting those stubborn, unwanted knots in my back and legs. A few minutes of rolling a day makes a huge difference in my recovery. It’s also incredibly useful for stretching exercises, helping me to deepen my stretches and improve my flexibility. The material is durable and holds its shape well, even with consistent use.
I highly recommend this for anyone looking for an effective and affordable tool to aid in muscle recovery and stretching.

I got this because my chiropractor recommended me getting a roller for my back to use daily. I’m definitely glad I bought it. It helps me stretch and gently pop my back every night before bed. I haven’t had any issues with it falling apart. I feel more relaxed after using it. It is firm but not so much that it’s painful to lay on. Only suggestion is to be careful using near your neck because it’s a little bigger and I think is designed more for just back. I would probably get a smaller one if you need it for your neck.

This exercise bolster is very good. After hip replacement, this roll helped to recover by strengthening thigh muscles. It is excellent for raising knees and calves ti reduce leg swelling, and is excellent for exercises to work side hip muscles. It is firm, textured to keep legs from sliding off and helps with physical therapy exercises in the home. Great product, higjly recommended.

Big enough for the full body experience for my 5’3″ self. Quite firm, perfect for back stretches and exercises without losing shape even after long-term use. I’m always impressed with the quality of more affordable Amazon Basics products.

Some people said it’s too firm. And Yes it is firm. But it’s a foam roller I think it should be firm to not only add longevity, but to really do a good job.

I had another one that was not as firm and after 2 years its pretty much useless since it can’t support any weight. This was a great improvement for a great price. I use this almost every day, and at 24″ it’s perfect for me

Okay, so to be fair this thing is sturdy.

And it probably does its job really well if you’re using it for something specific that it’s supposed to do. But for me, somebody with lower back issues (ie: bulging discs) it did not work at all for what I was trying to use it for.

Putting this under my lower back to attempt Pilates on was a mistake that I regret making.

No fault of the foam of course but this thing is dense and seriously retains its shape. It was rock hard on my back.

Great product if that’s what you need!

I have a background in strength and conditioning and have sat though “teachings” on the best foam rollers. However, I’m cheap, but still picky. Quality and reviews seemed well enough for me to try this with the price, I was not disappointed. Gives just enough firmness that doesn’t feel like a rock. Able to get it where I need it and works so well. A good width to use as an exercise source (squeeze between my knees or knees and elbows for core movements)!
However, it was a little longer than I personally prefer, but that’s great for gym owners! More bank for your buck, just cut it in half and now you have two!!

Well worth the money. The material is great for stretching out my back. I get pops and cracks and great relief when using after workouts. For me personally I find it the right support and firmness soft enough to not hurt, and firm enough to get the job done. You can decide how much pressure you want with how much weight you focus and allow. For sore areas and knots you can take some pressure off and gradually ease it over. I feel much better after using it and don’t walk around with back pain feeling like in needs adjusted. It’s like your personal chiropractor at home and for a great price! I got the 24 ft and I like the size. Its big enough to do the whole body without having to balance when laying down, and easy to store. 5 stars and recommend for anyone, looking for back relief especially, after workouts or in general after a day at work!

This 18″ roller works well for me (210lb male). After resuming exercise after a long hiatus, muscle soreness and tension limited my range of mobility, especially in my legs. A fitness instructor saw me struggling while attempting squat stretches and told me to grab a roller. USING THE ROLLER WAS PAINFUL, BUT THE RESULTS WERE WORTH IT. After four minutes on the roller, targeting the front and side of my thighs, I was able to walk and fully squat. I no longer moved like an old, arthritic cowboy.

NOTE: A roller does not eliminate muscle soreness – I still felt that – but it helps restore range of motion by compressing lactic acid, allowing it to be removed from muscle tissue. If you have arthritis or underlying ligament/tendon/cartilage issues, DO NOT ROLL YOUR JOINTS! [Pun unintended] The roller is for muscles only, not joints, and using a roller on joints can cause pain and damage.

The 18″ size works well for me (medium-large legs/torso), allowing me to roll both legs at the same time. If you are wider than 18″ (L, XL legs/torso), you might want to try a 24″ roller so you can roll both legs comfortably. The goal is to relax as much as possible while rolling, allowing the muscles to release tension so the lactic acid can be compressed out of the tissue. If you’re a big dude (or woman), tensing up while rolling counteracts the compression, limiting your results and increasing the discomfort you experience while rolling. Get a size that works for your body.

I recommend going as small as you comfortably can for storage reasons. Yes, there are 24″ and 36″ rollers, but where are you going to store a 3′ foot roller? Smaller rollers are easier to store in closets or under beds.

Using a roller at my home gives me the liberty and privacy to focus on problematic areas (lower back and thighs) while grunting and yelping without disturbing other people. TARGET THE SORE AREA FOR THE BEST RESULTS. This roller has the right firmness to put pressure on tight muscles without being too hard. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, so I would rate this firmness for someone with average pain tolerance. I don’t enjoy pain, but with this roller, the temporary pain is worth the long-term results of being able to walk/squat with a normal range of motion. After heavy leg days, the roller allows me to be back to a normal range of motion on day 2. Without the roller, I wouldn’t walk normally until day 4, sometimes day 3.

The roller can withstand a beating, making it ideal for storage. Done using it? Throw it in the closet, under the bed, or in the back corner. If it falls, it won’t be damaged. With blunt force collisions, the dense foam is sturdy. However, avoid sharp corners and sharp objects, which can gouge out chunks of the foam.

Does exactly what its supposed to do.
It firm, its Foam and it rolls.
Also works great to roll out your back muscles as well
to give yourself your own back massage in hard to reach places.

Im a big dude and it held up to my abuse. Easily worth the money. Buy one and you’ll likely never need another.

It is a very hard roller. The size is manageable but if you’re looking for a roller with padding, this is not the one you want. I returned this one because I bought it for someone else and they had already purchased one, but I thought I’d give a review on it anyway it’s a very rigid non-patted dense foam roller. It’s very basic.

This is a nice back roller. It’s wider than your body so you can move around and get all the different angles. It’s not too hard where it hurts. You but firm enough where it rolls out muscles Nicely.

This foam roller is excellent quality and exactly what I was looking for. It’s firm enough to really work out sore muscles but still comfortable to use, and it holds its shape well without denting. The size is perfect for full back and leg rolling, and it feels sturdy and durable. Whether for stretching, recovery, or everyday use, this roller gets the job done and is a great addition to any routine.

Works great! It works the same as the ones they have at the gym, only smaller in size. Perfect size for my tiny apartment. I need it for rolling my spine as I have injuries in my cervical spine, and it works great to help keep the area loose and help it move and not stiffen up. I’d recommend it!

The Amazon Basics High Density Foam Roller is a simple product, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to—and does it very well.

    Performance & Use
I use this almost every day, especially after leg workouts. It really helps loosen up my legs, and I find it especially useful before squatting to get everything warmed up and moving better.
    Feel & Quality
For the price, the quality is surprisingly good. It feels firm, supportive, and durable—not soft or flimsy. It holds its shape well and provides solid pressure.

    Value
You honestly can’t beat this for the price. It’s effective, well-made, and performs just as well as more expensive rollers.

Final Thoughts It’s able to support me in the foam material is good quality. If you’re looking for a no-frills foam roller that gets the job done, this is an excellent choice. I love it and highly recommend it.
