The smell is phenomenal when you first open the bag. One thing for me is I like a very strong tea, and often a peppermint tea bag just does not have enough flavor. I need to use two or three. With my tea ball strainer, I can get it about half full, and I get a very good cup of tea.

I’ve been drinking peppermint tea for years and I’ve tried many different brands, but this is the first one that smells and tastes completely wrong. The leaves give off an unpleasant odor while steeping and has very little mint smell at all. When you first open the bag it smell like mint and grass clippings. The flavor is just as off as the smell. A slight mint and then dry wet leaves is best description of the flavor. I am not convinced this is pure peppermint leaves.
Since the product is not returnable, I plan to have it tested will update the review with what I find. Based on my experience. I cannot recommend this product.

I laughed when it arrived because I hadn’t realized how much there was. I’ll be drinking this tea for years. I do enjoy it although at first it felt like it had almost a pickle taste to it. Weird. I generally use it along with my Irish Breakfast tea. I learned to use just a little bit less and lost that pickle taste. Probably just my taste buds or the combination of the two teas making it taste like that. Tea itself seems fresh and smells great.

I’ve been on a 2 decade quest for the best Peppermint tea.
I’ve tried so many teas. Numi, Teapigs, Davidson, all the grocery store brands. 1 or 2 make a decent crisp mint tea.
NONE compare to Anthony’s! This is MINT! Crisp, soothing & fragrant. You smell this tea and your body relaxes!
If you have acid reflux then you probably know why I’ve searched for a flavor I can ENJOY every night. Peppermint can eliminate the need for PPI meds like Nexium, Prilosec & Famotadine. Diet matters too but mint soothes the throat, stomach & gut. It’s been used this way for thousands of years.
Because I do drink it every night I want a tea I’ll never get sick of drinking. I found it & cannot recommend this tea highly enough! I’m pretty sure I’m literally addicted to their freeze dried organic strawberry powder too! If you haven’t tried it, you haven’t really lived.
& that’s really how I feel. I’m not a paid reviewer or brand spokesperson, just someone who really appreciates a quality product!
