These are very small treats that help with digestive issues. I have noticed less gas and belching for our 70lb dog using just three small treats a day. Not sure why, but they have worked for us. I would not call them “soft” chews though they aren’t hard like kibble. Then again, I have a chow hound who is not very picky when it comes to anything edible. I do recommend you try them if you have a dog that has some tummy issues, but certainly if there is anything serious like vomiting or diarrhea, consult your vet!

Honestly I was most worried these would cause a stomach issue with my dogs instead of help them but they seem to work. You just don’t get enough for the amount you have to use to keep it up. So I give them once a week or when I’m switching their food. Using dried pumpkin which you can buy on Amazon is cheaper and you get so much more of it.

Great probiotic! I can tell it’s working because my pup has stopped the itching and she is definitely regular now. However, I don’t think she likes the flavor or texture that much. I have to trick her to eat it but it does improve her stomach and skip issues.

I have had him on these Prebiotics for about two weeks now and he enjoys taking them. There has only been a couple of times that for some reason they didn’t work on his stools, not sure why. Generally they are keeping his stools solid and his poops seems to be a little smaller which means he is getting more of his nourtrition out of his food. As long as he is doing better that is all that counts and at least with these ones you get enough for 40 days instead of some that only last a couple of weeks at three a day. I wish they would go on sale so I could stock up as I do find them a little pricey but until they do I will continue to purchase them.

I got this bc sometimes my dogbro would wake up not wanting to eat sometimes and he would throw up clear liquid because his stomach “isn’t getting any food”, which he was getting but he’s picky when it comes to finishing his dinner. In combination with other strategies like feeding him closer to bedtime, and among others, I wanted something more for his gut health. I got this he eats it when I treat it like a high-value treats to motivate him to eat It and he does. His poops have been non-liquidy too (even tho that wasn’t a prevailing issue) but it is another thing I noticed that I thought was a potential benefit.

Affordable and easy way to keep your pets stool regulated and firm. I previously was feeding my dogs, Sophie and Rufus, dry prescription kibble and gave each one capsule in a pill pocket just prior to feeding on a daily basis (you need to pay attention to the dosage by the dogs weight and size) and it had worked wonders. One of my pets, Sophie, had issues with diarrhea on a constant basis (she had Cushings then Addison’s) and Gentle Digest worked wonders within a couple of days with no diarrhea. As my dogs became older and required a softer diet, I changed to prescription wet (canned) food and initially opened the capsules and dispensed the contents and mixed to make sure they ate it. It worked for Sophie as she would eat anything but Rufus still needed the pill pocket as he was a finicky eater. Now that Sophie has passed and Rufus is at the age of 15 years, he is mainly on a Vet approved canned diet mixed with a tiny bit of dry kibble (Science Diet Youthful Vitality), and I just add the entire enclosed capsule to his food and stir to hide the capsule and he eats everything. I no longer have the need for Pill Pockets and Rufus turned his nose away from them anyway. His stools are formed and he is regular. We have never experienced any gassiness in either dogs with this. I highly recommend this product. It has been in our dogs daily regimen for more than 5 years now and will continue to be.

This is by far the best stuff for your dog or cat. My MIL cat used to cry when she poooed but does not anymore and my dogs had loose stools due to eating whatever it was outside from just being dogs (we live in the country) they love deer Pooh yuck they do not have running poop anymore. One dose clears it all up all the time it works that good

My Multi-poo started having digestive problems over a year ago. I tried 2 prebiotic kits from the vet and found that the digestive problems came back after a few months. Tried this ARK Naturals and it appears this is what she needed. I put the small chew in a dog pill pocket and she loves it. No more constant diarrhea, refusing to eat, etc. The probiotic is the best solution but she needs it every day to keep well consistently.

My dog is picky with his food and does better with capsules in peanut butter rather than chewable medications. He has struggled with elevated liver enzymes since he was a puppy, and has had to be coaxed to eat; typical of liver shunts that sometimes occur in his breed (Havanese).
I’m trying to get/keep his enzymes down, so in addition to changing his food, I give him one of these every morning. Coupled with his food and this medicine, I can tell he feels better and his liver enzymes are staying at a much more manageable level. I am impressed with the results and plan to keep using them.
Update: It’s been a couple of months now since my dog started taking these supplements regularly along with his liver-support food, and he’s been doing consistently better with this regimen. Sometimes after eating things that aren’t part of his regular diet, he clearly doesn’t feel well and also needs Sam-e. On those days, the Sam-e coupled with this milk thistle seem to help him feel more like eating within a few hours. For the most part though, his liver support food and this milk thistle seem to keep him pretty well regulated.
I’m so grateful there are herbal supplements like this out there that help to support my dog’s general liver health.

Our dog really likes these digestives and we give her 2-3 a day (she is a chihuahua). She is delighted when we give these to her. She has chronic IBS and gets terribly sick often, so anything digestive supporting is welcome by us.

My adopted Lab/Pit mix started showing signs of an irregular bowel. I know probiotics is very good for digestive systems so I thought this would be the best place to start on getting Moose, my Lab/Pit mix, back on track. Luckily he is not a picky eater and will take anything if he thinks it’s a treat, so he took these with no hesitation. The scent does give the impression it would be a very tasty treat.
Moose has been taking these pro-biotic soft chews for a little over a week and he has had much easier bowel movements. He takes the bite size chews with no hesitation and seems to think they are a special treat which is great. The many benefits of the pro-biotic will be a bonus for us.

I bought this because it has good reviews. My 7 month old doggie has digestion problems since I got him. Vomiting and refusing to eat most days and a rumbling tummy most of the time. The product is in a capsule form and he will not swallow it. I have to push it down his throat and keep his mouth closed so that he can swallow. This could result in a few attemps which upsets the dog. I cannot put contents on his food as he mostly refuse his food anyway. Wish this was in a chewable form. I will continue this and see in few weeks if any change in his health.

Great buy cheap but they really work. I give my dog 2 in the mornings.

It works great if your animals will eat them. For some reason mine won’t touch them now.

This helps keep our dog from getting too gassy as well as helping keeping his probiotic levels normal, which helps digestion
Formos –
Disappointed it did nothing to stop my cat from throwing up.I hate I threw money down the drain on this.

Always tough (maybe impossible?) to measure, but we have a dog that has had immune system issues since we adopted him including mites (Demodectic Mange), skin problems and other ailments where his immune system had issues fighting them off. I personally have had experience with clear results using probiotics and enzymes so it was a no-brainer to try these out. It takes time and you never specifically know if these had a positive effect — but I lean towards being 95-100% confident that they have had a positive effect. Ironically, our dog had a stomach bug over the last week or so and he ended up fighting it off, which sounds like no big deal — but it is. Couple notes that many people are aware of, but unfortunately, many people are not:
1. Antibiotics kill “good” (beneficial) bacteria along with the bacteria that cause illnesses. They are overprescribed by doctors to humans (seriously overprescribed) and I’ve seen the same with pets. A decrease in beneficial bacteria may lead to digestive problems and antibiotics don’t have any effect on viruses, other than possibly empowering them as they decrease our immune systems.
2. Probiotics shouldn’t be started, stopped and restarted, etc. — according to the research I have read. Once stopped, they lose their effectiveness and advantages are lost. That being said, as with any supplement, start off small even with a larger animal and go slowly — then be consistent.
Be safe, careful and take your time. Also, the advantages could take weeks/months to be seen — and this product is affordable. We actually open the capsules and dump into the food so you don’t need to deal with giving your pet a pill (never fun). Giving probiotics with food can limit the effectiveness, but our results with our dog have been solid, nonetheless. Once you have had a pet with immune system issues, you appreciate any and all improvements.

This is a great product. The only issue I have with this product is that when I order more than one package because it is more cost effective, I receive product that is old. The treats should be moist and again this last package I received the treats were hard and if you put pressure on the treat it would crumble in your hand.
