I waited a bit to write a review but after about a month of using I can say I love this thing. Aside from the attractive appearance, it has been used to make everything from scrambled eggs, pancakes, and pasta to burgers and steak. Most of the time I don’t even need to use the high setting. It’s perfect for easy use and although it’s not submergible in water, clean up is as simple as a wipe with a damp paper towel for most things. The spatula that comes with it is also of very nice quality. I do notice after a month of use the food tends to stick a bit more than it did initially but with Olive or Avocado oil spray it’s fine. Overall I am extremely happy I purchased the AudeCook and I highly recommend it.

    Pretty nice!

wish the bottom was a little deeper since it can be prone to boiling over

Also the middle and lid peice are not perfectly fitted

But otherwise it cooks well, heats fast, makes a great steamer ir boiler. Good price and can make a good amount of food

This Audecook Hot Pot Electric 2L, Cermic Glaze Non-Stick Frying Pan 8 Inch, Portable Travel Cooker is just perfect for easy clean cooking for on or two people. I used it the same day it was delivered for my evening meal. It made my baby bok Choi with onions, & mushrooms in the bottom and heated sliced roast lamb on the top in the steamer basket just perfectly! It functions perfectly, no sticking, and extremely easy clean up is a bonus. I look forward to making this cooker my main go to for a variety of different meals. This cooker will make my summer meals a joy, and without heating up my kitchen. A great value for adding to my cooking tools, and too cute! This cooker is perfect for those cooking for one!

I bought this little hot pot thinking it would be a cute ramen cooker. What I didn’t expect was to become a full-blown countertop chef. This thing has turned my kitchen into a one-appliance wonderland.

    🍜 Ramen? Perfectly slurpy.
🥩 Steak? Sizzled like it owed me money.
🍳 Fried rice? I now refer to myself as “Wok Star.”
🥣 Oatmeal? Creamy enough to make Quaker jealous.

The ceramic glaze is so non-stick, I swear food slides off like it’s escaping a bad relationship. The wooden handle gives it a rustic vibe, like I’m cooking in a cozy cabin instead of a studio apartment with questionable plumbing.

Bonus: The silicone spatula is my new favorite utensil. It’s like the Swiss Army knife of stirring.

If this hot pot had a dating profile, it would say: “Compact, reliable, and knows how to heat things up.”

Just right for solo meals or cooking for two, and the ceramic glaze non-stick surface makes cleanup a breeze, no sticking, no scrubbing! It heats up quickly and evenly, and I really appreciate the included silicone spatula. It’s lightweight and portable, making it ideal for dorms, small apartments, or travel. Highly recommended!

Received my Audecook Hot Pot 2L yesterday, and washed it first, after reading the instructions. Cute little pot, but it really does heat up nicely. I made Green Chili Stew with potatoes, carrots, hamburger, garlic, salt, and chicken broth — the potatoes browned nicely, and the hamburger cooked along with the potatoes without a problem. No sticking, and I did use olive oil in the pot. The cover helps the food steam so that it actually cooks a little faster — that was nice. I added some water while the potatoes were cooking to speed up the process — What I like about it is that when I turned it off, and the food cooled, I turned it back on and in a very short time it was bubbling and heating up nicely. That for me was a real plus as well. I didn’t use the highest temperature as the middle range worked well for me for this dish. All in all, if it continues to work like this I will probably buy a second pot, in case I need to be cooking two things at the same time. It is small enough to work on the counter, easy to clean, and though the pot is not huge, it works for a 1-2 person meal quite well. You will have leftovers if you are cooking for 1. Performance was nice, efficient, and quick to heat up. Did not have a hot pan on the outside, as I did touch it to check how hot the outside might get. Handle does not heat up. I’m hoping to try heating oil to make sopipillas (fried bread using tortilla dough) and see how it works. If it does it will be a real joy to use. It is deep enough to have a 3/4″ of oil in it and do one sopipilla at a time. Other things I want to try is making a cake in it — I used to make cakes in my electric skillet, with the top on it actually cooks well, and you just tip the pan over on a plate and voila you have a nice cake to frost and eat! I also make Chinese food a lot, so I want to try using it in place of a wok, see how it works out. If they ever make another pot that is 3L, I will definitely buy it …especially if it works as well as this one. I’m having a lot of fun experimenting with different dishes to see how it works. So far very pleased with its performance.

As a working mom, I needed something quick, compact, and easy to clean—and this little Audecook pot delivers! I use it for hotpot nights with my kids and even to steam siomai after work. The ceramic glaze non-stick coating is a lifesaver—no scrubbing. Heats fast, and the dual power control makes it easy to switch between simmering broth and boiling water for steaming. Lightweight enough to store away, but sturdy enough for daily use. Definitely worth it!

I love this little hot pot! The ceramic glaze coating makes it truly non-stick and so easy to clean. It heats quickly and the dual power settings give me good control whether I’m making ramen, frying eggs, or simmering soup. The 2L size is just right for one or two people, and it’s lightweight enough to take when traveling. The included silicone spatula is a nice bonus. Great quality and very handy for everyday meals.

It’s 18 months since I bought this little electric pan for my camper van – and it’s never yet made it to my van – because I’m always using it in the kitchen!

I live alone, so try to avoid using the big cooker due to costs, but this electric pan just sits next to it, and even for preference I will reach for it. In fact last time I had my family staying (9 of us with kids, grandkids and spouses) I still found myself using this in preference to the gas hob. I mainly use it for frying – eggs, bacon, omelettes, onions, steak, spam, mushrooms, beef burgers (3 fit easily, 4 are a squash) – all come out brilliantly. Stir fry’s are great too. The steamer is super too and I’ve used it a few times for vegetables. (In fact I had a dedicated steamer which I’ve now let go and saved the space, due to this one.)
I was a bit concerned how the non stick sort of surface would hold up, but it’s doing fine – a bit darker but still good and still wipes clean easily. I am very careful though to only use non metallic tools in it, larger only using the spatula that came with it.
I was even able to use it during a power cut as at low level it’s 300 w and my power bank is 700 watt, so at low level it was fine (though naturally did rather deplete the bank, and the high setting would have been too high).

Overall after a lot of use it’s one of the most useful items in my kitchen and perfect for a solo chef.

I use it allot with my portable solar stations. First setting is about 450 watts, second setting 900. The pot cooks really well on first setting for bacon and eggs, oatmeal, warming food. My Ecoflow River 3 plus will not run this pot, my Ecoflow River 2 Pro and anything bigger has no issue. Great unit to cook anywhere and really easy to clean. I highly recommend.

    I love this!
I purchased this cooking appliance for our travel trailer, and it has proven to be an excellent space and propane saver. It allows for quick cooking, and food stays warm for an extended period after being turned off. The ceramic glaze on the surface makes cleaning effortless, which is a significant advantage while traveling.

Initially, I thought the size might be too small for our needs, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it provides ample portions, even leaving enough for lunch leftovers the next day. I highly recommend this product, particularly for weekend warriors seeking a quick and easy cooking solution while camping in beautiful, remote locations.

Update 2: wanted let some people know of a potential problem with this pot, more to the point the cord that comes with it.
I still think this pot is the neatest thing since sliced bread but this is something you need to pay attention to.
I’ve noticed that when I put it on the higher of the two settings the cord gets really warm.
this could be a potential problem. it’s not an issue for me because I’m sitting here keeping an eye on it.
NOTE! you cannot put this thing on high and walk away from it. if you’re smart!
    you never know. stuff happens.
I just wanted to get that warning out there for folks.

pay attention to it. don’t walk away from it.

Update 1/7/23: so I just made pancakes and eggs in this little skillet pot combo.
I never had to turn it up on the high heat. it cooked perfectly on the low heat. I threw some butter in there, let it melt, put a few dollups of the pancake mix in, let it spread out, cooked it till it were done. threw the eggs in with a little extra butter.

absolutely fantastic!! I love this cooking tool.

I briefly touched on the fact that I have arthritis in my hands. now I personally love cooking with cast iron but it causes me so much pain to use it. this little pot Skillet combo, I can lift easily with no pain. I can shimmy it around to spread the butter, absolutely no pain. just thought I’d mention that.

    Original review :

i needed something smaller than say a 6 qrt cooking pot/skillet. this gives the best of multiple worlds. big enough to cook a decent meal, a steaming topper. so i can make multiple item small size meals. GREAT when your trying to lose weight! this is 1 of the reasons i purchased this item!

it’s honestly got me puzzled as it looks/feels like good quality plastic but inside the pot? MAGIC!!
it acts as a very nice frying pan, sauce/stew pot etc..

it is simply is the absolute perfect size for my needs. i am really impressed.

now some might see the handle as a bit to large..i do not. it allows me to get a REALLY good grip. i have arthritis in my hands and most pan handles cause me greif because they are smaller.

this truly combinesa pot with a skillet.

REALLY fantastic design in my mind! i love the look & the size. the squarishness will fit perfectly in a drawer/cabinent.

at some point i plan to do the rv life for a few yrs or forever…LOL and this lil pot is one of the items that will allow me to eat well while living the nomad life.

Thanks to the manufacturer, designer & seller.

Recomiendo 100%
Me encanta.

The skillet unit is great. I don’t like the cheaply made handle and it’s either high or low heat.

I love this little thing! No kitchen necessary and for me that is everything at the moment. It’s lightweight, takes up almost no space its cute. I love that the cord detaches so I can leave it plugged in and move just the pot out of the way when necessary. I’ve made everything from simple eggs or grilled cheese to stir-fry or salmon with steamed veggies. Let’s not forget its deep enough to fry in as well. I haven’t done that in it yet though just because of dealing with the oil. It heats up fast and cleans super easy, just wipe it out with a wet paper towel while its still hot and everything will come right off. Its perfect for a single person or great for 2 people. You can definitely fit 2 portions just not 2 sandwiches at a time. At under $40 this is a great value to me as it allows me to cook food again while I don’t have kitchen appliances. It would definitely be great for hotel/college dorm rooms, camping, or van life! Highly recommend.

Update: using it 2 or 3 times a day & I love it. I’m not as careful about cleaning it as I was initially & have found it’s really easy to not get the electrical side wet. I also found that it only takes a tiny bit of oil to make the food not stick so much if not cleaned immediately. NOTE: Cleaning immediately is not good unless using hot water because the pan is still hot & sudden tempertature changes on the surface of ceramic coatings is a good way to ruin the ceramic coating. Some reviewers seemed to think it needed more temperature choices, but honestly, it does everything I need it to do w/ only the 2 temp choices. I’ve also noticed it doesn’t make the counter hot underneath it & I really appreciate that. The sides aren’t the cool touch kind, but not as hot as regular pots get on stovetops. I’ve touched the sides during cooking & not gotten burned as long as I didn’t leave my hand there, but don’t recommend doing that. It actually cooks more food @ one time than I thought it would. I wanted a small pot for cooking just for one person. This does look perfect for that. But I’ve really had to learn to reduce the am’t of food I cook in it by a lot. It’s bigger than it appears. It’s very much like the modern looking miniture version of the age old electric skillets that we all grew up with & much more suited for small kitchens & smaller meals.

Initial review: The steam vents in the lid make this SO EASY to drain the boiling water from cooked pasta. It’s my favorite feature! Next favorite is that the white pot comes w/ ceramic glaze instead of Teflon (the black pot is Teflon). Teflon gives off airborne gas that will kill a pet bird that breathes it. Teflon eventually flakes off in food too. Ceramic is great along as taken care of w/ non-scratch bamboo wooden or silicone utensils & non-scratch scrubbers when cleaning. I’ve had none of the trouble some reviewers mentioned when cleaning this pot. I hand clean it w/ dish soap under a running faucet w/ the electrical plug in feature facing away from the running water. I also hold the pot so the water only goes inside the pot & flows into the sink w/o running down the side of the pot. I don’t wash or rinse the outer sides or bottom @ all. But I’ve not gotten food on the outer sides of the pot to need to clean there & would use a cleaning rag instead of running water on the outside if I ever do get food there. I haven’t had any water droplets around the plug in area doing it this way & it’s been easy for me to clean it this way. I wouldn’t advice letting a kid do it tho for fear they wouldn’t be as careful & get water all over it.
It has a silicone cover that covers the plug in area too that helps, but it isn’t exactly waterproof there. Still no problem for me. Spaghetti cooks up so quick & one pot of spaghetti is plenty for 2 people. Looks too small but it’ll surprise you. My 3rd favorite thing is it’s small. I wanted something for better portion control, so small was good. It’s still able to cook enough for extras or a couple of people, so I still have to watch portions, but it’s closer to what I wanted in size. I’m working on only cooking half full pots of food in this now, or maybe even a third full. It cooks fast. I like not spending a lot of time cooking! It does however need to be either cleaned right away or sit w/ water in it because everyone that said food sticks if not cleaned immediately was right. Cleans easy tho & only takes a minute. And of course water sitting in it til you want to fool w/ cleaning it later always works too. As far as food sticking during cooking, I’ve not had that problem yet. So far the ceramic surface makes non-stick cooking work. Google how to keep ceramic pans slick & non-stick if you don’t know tho because using things like Pam spray & things you’d think would help can actually turn some ceramic pans into sticking food magnets. My 1st ceramic skillet was my learning curve & I learned the hard way about that. Ceramic pans are the easiest & best things if you just Google what to not do w/ them. Just a suggestion to help someone new to nonstick ceramic pans.
Haven’t tried the steamer yet, but plan to real soon for steaming eggs in their shells instead of hard boiling them, fish, & corn on the cob. My initial thought when seeing the plug in placement located on the side of the pot was that it was a bad design.
I thought about the plug placement & after reading reviews from other similar pots that had the plug in the handle, I’ve come to the conclusion as to why this one was made w/ the plug in on the side of the pot instead of the handle. Seems like the handle is better placement for it~ especially for cleaning purposes. But reviewers have been saying the cord puts enough weight on the handle to make those pots tip over toward the handle side & splash hot water & food out. Makes sense after thinking about it & also after using this one & seeing how stable it is. So what some may think is a design flaw is actually a safer solution.
If my opinion after more use of this pot changes (it’s getting daily use!), I’ll definitely update this review w/ anything I find wrong w/ it. The steam vents doubling as pour spouts is above & beyond other similar pots & I LOVE that!

I actually had buyer’s remorse the moment I clicked the purchase button, but this little cookpot has turned out to be a champ.

I got it for camping, but it cooks so much hotter and faster than my gas stovetop that I often use it at home too. If you want a pot of boiling water for pasta, there’s no way to get it faster. Literally. Unless you have a commercial wok stove or access to nuclear fusion.

That said, there are a couple of tricky design points:

You’d think a squared pot would pour cleanly from a corner, but the lip on this one *makes* food drip down the side.
Square pot = lid can fall into food if not put carefully back on.
The little screws that keep the lid together hold oil, and along with a complicated lip design make the lid quite difficult to clean properly.
There are only 2 heat settings, so you need to cycle between them manually to control the heat.
Having the cord stick out the backside of the pot is quite clumsy… I sure wish it was tucked underneath the handle instead.
The non-stick coating is very effective, but also very delicate. I chipped mine with a spoon right out of the gate and now religiously use only plastic/wood utensiles. Speaking of which- OMG BEST SILICONE SPATULA EVER!!! I wish I could get 2-3 more just like it!
Since the unit is non-submersible, cleaning can be somewhat tedius/difficult.

Overall though, I’m really pleased with this little cookpot. It’s been a great boon both at camp and at home. If you RV or camp with electrical access, this is SIX BILLIONTY times better than an electric stovetop.
