You have to find the right “blow flow” for it to sound right. Not to hard cuz then it just sounds like a cheap whistle, not to soft cuz it’s not loud and again sounds like a cheap low tone whistle. You have to get the airflow just right to get that eerie sound. But it’s also not very loud. Definitely does not hit the decibels it claims. No ear splitting unless you are directly next to it. It is creepy looking which is cool and for the money, it’ll do. Definitely cheap quality but, duh. Imbut hey it works

This thing really has a loud and shrill sound, perfect for what I intend to use it for. Don’t use it too close to other people’s ears because it is loud. Sound really close to someone screaming in agony.
