Nicely hand engraved on polished water buffalo bone, some of the strongest bone there is. A full set of 24 runes and one blank. As described, exactly what I wanted and at a very good price.

These are lovely runes. My set was complete and neat with only small etching imperfections here and there which I actually love. I feel a wonderful connection with these runes and I’m so happy they’re all almost the same size and shape so there’s no distortion in the reading when pulling runes from the pouch.

So these are good beginner rune’s. They’re definitely not bone (ex husband is a hunter, I know what bone feels like), they’re plastic but they are thick and good quality whatever the material is. However, unfortunately like several reviews mentioned 2 of the runes are wrong. They are close to “letter” they are supposed to be but as you can see in the pics they’re not. I can live with it and I will learn the letters eventually but for $12 not too bad. They are decent size, about an inch tall. They came with a blue velvet drawstring bag, that was a nice bonus to overlook the 2 wrong runes.

Not only was I excited to get these but then I opened the bag and the pouch was in my favorite color. So that pretty much sold me right there. After opening the pouch and seeing them I was even more thrilled. They are a very good size and mostly uniform in shape. Being around an inch long per rune. Good weight, good color that I’m sure will only become more perfect with age and the rune inscriptions themselves are nicely done. Thank you, it is everything I could have hoped for.

These are extremely beautiful. And mine were flat and not rounded like some others have mentioned… my one complaint (and it’s a major one), they gave me a rune from the younger furthark (this set is suppose to be from the elder furthark). They also gave me a blank rune which works out as I can try to engrave the missing rune onto that bone. I would have given this 5 stars otherwise :).

I am satisfied with the runes. They look and feel as I expected. I am excited to use them in my meditative practice and I love that they came with their own bag. I can’t be sure they’re actual bone but they do seem to be. I would recommend.

These are about 1 inch long and a 1/2 inch wide, I measured them, They feel like a stone, not a bone, but I love them! The writing on them is black and nice. 25 of them.

It’s become a common complaint in the reviews of runes that they have one “missing” but that’s not true. The blank piece is known as Odins rune and it’ represents information that’s not yet allowed to be know but will be known in time.
It does have all of them, I’m not 100% if it’s real bone, but they’re simple and beautiful and perfect for a beginner like me.
