There are different sounds you can choose from and it is very handy, tiny and easy to operate. The charging lasts all night, sometimes two. Let me start by saying that this mini white noise machine has been a game-changer for my sleep routine. As a college student with noisy neighbors and a constant need for sleep, this little device has truly saved the day (or should I say night?).
First and foremost, let’s talk about the sound options. While the machine offers a variety of sounds to choose from, I have to admit I found my favorite white noise setting, and I stick with it every night. It’s not an aggressive or obnoxious noise like some other white noise machines, which is a relief. It’s soothing, comforting, and blocks out my neighbor trying to become the next soundcloud rapper at 3am. However, I must say that some of the other sound options are pretty obnoxious and I will likely never be using them.
One of the standout features of this mini white noise machine is it’s rechargeable. I absolutely love the fact that it can play while it’s charging or be free. It saves me from constantly changing batteries and provides continuous sound throughout the night. Plus, it’s TINY!! It takes up so little space on my bedside table, making it perfect for travel. Hotel stays have become a lot more enjoyable since I started bringing this little thing along. I can finally sleep peacefully without being kept awake by traffic.
Speaking of battery life, this mini white noise machine doesn’t disappoint. It lasts for at least three nights without needing a recharge. So convenient.
Now, onto a couple of minor issues. Firstly, the selection of pleasant sounds is somewhat limited. Out of the options available, there’s only one that I find suitable for sleep. Some of the others are quite obnoxious and not conducive to a peaceful slumber. It would have been nice to have a wider range of soothing options. However, since I found my favorite, it hasn’t been a significant drawback for me.
Secondly, there’s a green indicator light that can be bothersome in a dark bedroom. But I just covered the light with a small piece of electrical tape and now it’s no problem.
Overall, this mini white noise machine has become my sleep savior. Its rechargeable feature, compact size, and ability to play while charging make it a must-have for anyone seeking a peaceful night’s rest. It has turned my college dorm experience from miserable to manageable, and it’s a reliable companion for travel. While the sound options may not be extensive, finding the perfect white noise setting has made all the difference. So, if you’re in need of some quality shut-eye, don’t hesitate to give this little device a try.

Love this version of the Babelio sound machine, it remembers the last volume and sound setting you had it on. Small compact, and the original was great to use for travel. I did buy the additional case for it. There is a night light built in that you can choose to use or not. It is continuous noise and you can’t hear any breaks. The one I had made a boo-doo-doop noise when I powered on and made noises when the battery was low. I keep this one plugged in all the time so not sure what happens when the battery gets low. It comes with a charging cord with a USB and USB-C ends. It also comes with a wrist strap you can attach to the machine.

I’ve tried a few white noise machines and they always sound fake and have an obvious loop. This one is fantastic! The sound quality is great, there are a lot of noise options, and it’s tiny and easy to bring places! Plus the battery life is great, I’m not sure how to tell if the battery is low but it’s lasted 2 nights in a row without charging and I had it playing all night. As a frequent business traveler, this has been my best purchase in years! I’ve been using this travel white noise speaker for over 6 months now, and it has completely transformed my sleep quality during hotel stays. What started as a travel necessity quickly became a home essential too – I ended up buying a second one because my husband and I both love it so much! What I love most:

I purchased this noise machine for travel because at home, I sleep with a fan, mostly for the whitenoise, because I can’t sleep when I can hear myself breathe (I get it, it’s weird).
I was very surprised at how loud it can get, but also surprised at how long it lasted out of the box before I had to charge it. I used it 3 nights in a row before it started making the “charge me” plea beeps. I’ve used it multiple trips now and I think it lasts 3 or 4 days before needing a charge, which is great for traveling.
I only listen to one of the specific fan noises. The fire crackles are nice and so are the cricket noises, but if you’ve found one out of the many options, it’s worth the inexpensive price.
The device is way smaller than I thought it would be too. It’s not much bigger than a golf ball. I like that it comes with a strap. The only thing I think it’s lacking is maybe a carry case/bag.
All in all I’m very pleased with this purchase.

The Babelio Mini is a popular portable white noise machine. It is rechargeable using USB-C, which is a huge advantage over its main competitor in India — ‘Sleep’ by Saregama. Do keep in mind that this Babelio machine has to be charged using a USB-A to USB-C type cable.
I wish the volume went a tad higher. It has about 15 levels of volume, with the first 8 being too low to be of any practical use. The White Noise quality is good. You have to cycle through the sequence once and set it to White Noise only once. Thereafter, it remembers your selection and automatically starts in White Noise mode every time. Refer the manual to note the sequence of preset sounds.
The battery lasts about two nights, before needing to be recharged. Alternatively, you can choose to keep this permanently plugged in, if you so desire.
The main complaint I have with it is the placement of the buttons at the bottom of the device. You have to lift it up, each time, to access the controls. Often, in the middle of the night, I have had to fumble to increase or decrease the volume. As this is round in shape, you can’t tell which button is Up or Down and it can be a pain having to guess and struggle in the dark, when you are half-asleep. I also own the ‘Sleep’ machine from Saregama, which has just a single knob on the top, to turn it ON and to also control the volume.
Another drawback is that this Babelio machine can’t be “directed” to face a particular direction. As the speaker is fixed on the top, it emits sound upwards.

This is as powerful as a much larger 5″ white noise machine I got several years ago! The sound is shockingly high quality too for how tiny the speaker is. I was expecting it to be clipped but it sounds quite normal. I like the sound samples much more than my old white noise machine too. The ocean waves and bonfire crackles are great. They sound natural and smooth. I’m super impressed! I bought it for travel but now I’m using it at home too.

This little thing is actually incredible. I have a Hatch at home and I ordered this for the week I’d be with family in another state with a toddler running around early in the morning.
First of all, it’s tiny and fits in the palm of my hand so I’ll be able to bring it anywhere. Second, I didn’t even charge it before the first use and fully expected it to die throughout the night and it didn’t. The volume is loud and sounds just as good as my Hatch.
I fully charged it after the first use and unplugged it before I turned it on for the night. This thing has been going for 12 hours straight.
I ordered the purple and I would say that the color definitely does not match the photo. It’s more gray with a tiny hint of lavender. But other than that, I’m highly impressed.

Best travel sound machine ever! It is small, but mighty and easily lasts 24 hours or 2.5 nights per charge! There is no looping sound either! I use the Yogasleep Dohm Classic sound machine at home and it is the old school kind that generates its sound with fans because the looping sounds of other digital sound machines drive me crazy all night long. This little thing is perfect for traveling and it charges in a few hours.

Bought this for a recent trip, and it worked surprisingly well! We use white noise at home to sleep (air filter for adults, white noise machine for kiddos). When we travel, we usually use our phone app to create white noise. We wanted a separate machine, though, so someone could continue using their phone while another person was napping, sleeping in, etc. I bought this model and a different model that was slightly bigger. This one really helped to create a soothing environment in a hotel room and cover up random noises from the room air conditioner, hallway, etc. Everyone slept well! It is tiny, but the sound traveled well when put between two beds. It would probably be even better if you could place it on a shelf or something raised near the beds. Several noise options to choose from which all sounded clear, but we chose the heavy rain option. Very happy with this purchase!

I was extremely glad I had this little item with me during recent travel. My hotel (for 3 nights) was located right next to a freeway and I am a light sleeper. I used one of the rain sounds and had it going continuously for at least 10 hours each time, for evening reading and for sleeping, with no issues. I have used a white noise machine for over 25 years to help me sleep. I had one I used for travel, and I don’t think I would be getting hardly any sleep in a strange bed in a hotel room without one. That one was a hand-me-down from my Mother, and was about the size of the old-school cassette Walkmans—though it also had an alarm clock, a radio, and weather radio in it—pretty nice. It finally died, and I knew I had to get something to replace it before I traveled anywhere else. This one is nice and small, and weighs less than my old one—good for traveling. It doesn’t have the extra features, but nowadays I get those with my cell phone, so not a concern. The old one plugged into an outlet and/or used batteries; this one uses a USB charger. I prefer my electronics to plug into the wall instead of having to charge a battery that will eventually die and cannot be replaced—I sincerely doubt this one will be going strong for 25+ years, but nobody ever asked me before switching almost all electronics over to “chargeable USB” power, so I just have to live with that. My husband teases me that I’m a “who moved my cheese” whiner…Anyway, after I received it, I started poking around to find some kind of protective case to use with it for traveling. The first one I ordered was not a good fit, but then I found this: RLSOCO Case for Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro/Buds 2 / Buds Live. It works perfectly! It’s a bit tight at first, but it certainly does the exact task I wanted it for, it’s lightweight and protective. I took some pictures, in case anyone else is looking for a suitable protective travel case. The case will also help me keep track of it, as there is less chance I’ll forget it in a hotel room somewhere. The sound machine itself is good. I can’t stand the ones that have an audible “loop” sound—even a very faint one—to me that is very noticeable and irritating when I am trying to get to sleep. This machine does not have a looping effect, at least not one I could hear. I’m very satisfied with this lightweight, little white noise machine. Time will tell how long it will last. I dislike that most electronics, appliances, etc made nowadays seem to incorporate “planned obsolescence”, or are just made so cheaply they will need replacing far sooner than the old-school stuff—don’t think that’s going to change anytime soon—corporations make too much money selling us things over and over, while landfills get larger and larger each day. Of course, no one asked for my opinion…

I usually sleep with a loud fan at night as I cannot sleep in silence. I am going on a company trip soon, and I purchased this to replace my industrial fan that I cannot take on the plane. This is small enough that it can easily slip in my carry on. It came charged, and the sound level gets a lot louder than expected. There are several different sound selections, and the quality is great so far! I did not expect much due to the low price, but this definitely exceeded my expectations! I will update this review once I’ve given it some time to run!

The Babelio Mini is a popular portable white noise machine. It is rechargeable using USB-C, which is a huge advantage over its main competitor in India — ‘Sleep’ by Saregama. Do keep in mind that this Babelio machine has to be charged using a USB-A to USB-C type cable.
I wish the volume went a tad higher. It has about 15 levels of volume, with the first 8 being too low to be of any practical use. The White Noise quality is good. You have to cycle through the sequence once and set it to White Noise only once. Thereafter, it remembers your selection and automatically starts in White Noise mode every time. Refer the manual to note the sequence of preset sounds.
The battery lasts about two nights, before needing to be recharged. Alternatively, you can choose to keep this permanently plugged in, if you so desire.
The main complaint I have with it is the placement of the buttons at the bottom of the device. You have to lift it up, each time, to access the controls. Often, in the middle of the night, I have had to fumble to increase or decrease the volume. As this is round in shape, you can’t tell which button is Up or Down and it can be a pain having to guess and struggle in the dark, when you are half-asleep. I also own the ‘Sleep’ machine from Saregama, which has just a single knob on the top, to turn it ON and to also control the volume.
Another drawback is that this Babelio machine can’t be “directed” to face a particular direction. As the speaker is fixed on the top, it emits sound upwards.

Update:
For whatever reason, my unit was not charging off a specific outlet (even though phone, ipad, etc. were charging fine here). I moved it to another outlet to charge and voila, charged. This means that my unit basically ran across 2.5 nights the first full battery – about 20 hours – before needing a charge, which is super impressive!

I was floored with how amazing this thing is, until it stopped working after 2 days. Even after a full charge, it will randomly turn itself off. (I did verify it is not on a sleep mode.) On my recent trip, I had to revert back to my phone’s white noise app after a night of interrupted sleep trying to get this thing to work.
If it was functional, it would be my favorite travel item. It’s loud, has good sound choice and it packs away so tiny.

This little machine has worked great for travelling or attached to the stroller during walks. Small but puts out great sound. Battery life is great too. Our kiddos have also tossed it around and it continues to work without an issue. Highly recommend if you want a basic but reliable little sound machine.
