The chairs are wonderful! Very comfortable, easy to assemble and very attractive. The only problem is the remote controls we received are in Spanish. We are not Bilingual. This is the review I left for the product:
We’ve emailed the seller multiple times without proper resolution. The remote controls we received are labeled in Spanish. The last email from the seller asked us to mail the two chairs back to them! All we want the seller to do is send us two remote controls that are labeled in ENGLISH. We will send the Spanish remotes back. This should not be the frustrating issue that it has become!
Why must purchases like this be so difficult when there is no need? Yes, it’s a somewhat minor issue but still extremely frustrating. If this is resolved with the requested swap of Spanish remotes for English I will update my review. (5/13/2020)
UPDATE (5/16/2020) Seller has offered via email a mutually agreed upon partial refund. I will post again if/when we receive it.
UPDATE (5/20/2020) Seller has submitted a refund to my account. I will conclude by saying this is a FABULOUS chair! It’s incredibly comfortable. In reference to other posts, there is no smell. I would highly recommend buying these chairs. Thank you Best Choice Products!

After scouring the internet for recliners I kept coming back to this model. I don’t perform impulse purchases without researching and reading the comments. So what I can offer from my experience is the following:
A) Other people say this is difficult to assemble. Only took me 10 minutes tops. Very simple. Tools might be basic but that is why you have tools available at home that will make the process easier.
B) Directions are difficult to read. It can be but this is not rocket science at all. There are literally two bolts and nut for the base of the chair. It can be a little tricky to align but not a deal breaker. The ottomon for the chair is simple – four bolts and insert the metal stem into the base. Very simple..
Now, I do understand if people who might be disabled or physically challenged might have difficulty. But for the average person shouldn’t take long to assemble. Ten minute top
C) For connecting the wires and vibrating. PEOPLE – read and listen up! This is not a deep tissue message unit. The information on the product states this. If you want one of those big fancy chairs that does this – spend more money and reserve your negative comments. For the most part, it vibrates and is lite but it is a nice option to have. One of the reasons why I went this route vs. the non-standard recliner.
D) Comfort Cushy Chair – The chairs I have had in the past were your basic desk chair upright and cheap fabric. I wanted to spend a few more dollars on this for comfort. At first, I didn’t really care for the chair but not I find it totally relaxing. Actually fell to sleep in the chair last night after a long week at work. Didn’t expect this and had a nice snooze..
E) I love the swivel – smooth and quiet
F) Only thing I would like to see in this model chair is height adjustment. My computer desk that I manufactured out of hard pipe desktop is a little higher than the chair. So I do have a couple of options is lower the desk to match height of the chair or look for a add on for the chair base to raise it higher. Not a real dealer breaker honestly because I still have options.
G) The Smell – the first couple of days the smell was intense and found my eyes watering at times. After three days it was less noticeable and not has potent. From what I read others have used vinegar or fabreeze on the chair to lessen the smell. I really don’t think you will need to go that far. Place the chair outside or in the garage when you leave for work. Let it sit to breath and bring back in. I didn’t do this and left in my computer room. Again, after three days you hardly notice it.
Would I buy this chair again? Probably – for the price, comfort, and style I am happy with my investment.

Nice looking chair but attention to detail when drilling holes was lacking on the ottoman. Not that anyone will be looking underneath but if you do the holes on leather can be seen and the new holes we had to put through the leather to hit the pre-drilled holes. Somebody was on night shift when they did the manufacturing on the ottoman.

Don’t buy this product or use this seller. The massage and heat stopped after only 4 months. When I contacted the seller they gave me the run around then finally told me that it’s passed the return date.
Very very upset.. I would never buy this product or use this seller again.

Certainly there’s no bad smell, as some reviewers have complained – just a mild odor of leather. Otherwise this is a reasonably comfortable, firmly supportive reading or viewing chair with pleasant heat and an agreeable vibrator-type massage. I’m not sure I’d ever use this chair for napping, though.
Assembly was easy, except for the hinge between the seat and the back, which was challenging for one person to bolt into position. This hinge is also the main limit on user comfort: as you lean back, the angle of the seat is very little changed, unlike a true recliner.
A few other shortcomings: upholstery material covers the pedestal base for both chair and footstool, and it’s easily chafed; the vibrator in the footstool is disappointingly feeble and ineffective; unsightly wires hang out at various points (though most can be tucked into the storage pocket on the right side of the chair); and the chair is far from easy to get up from, requiring a firm push from arms and shoulders.
In general, the modest price is what makes this chair a good buy.

I was thrilled on Saturday, September 14th, when the shipping status from Fedex said my chair arrived almost 3 days earlier than I was expecting, at 1:47pm. But when I got home from my stressful job as a police dispatcher, very much ready to put it together and relax, there was no chair. My husband, who had been home all day advised me that no chair arrived, and no one had knocked on our door. It’s believable too when you have two dogs that bark at anything.
I contacted Fedex right away. First mistake. They advised me to contact the seller, which I did, right away. Best Choice Products was very kind, assuring me of a replacement, and assuring me that they would get it to me within 5-7 business days. Today is business day number 8 still with no chair. My job is a hectic, chaotic, stressful situation, and I really would like to relax in a nice massage chair when I get home, but I can’t, because I don’t have one. I don’t have any neighbors nearby that can accept the chair from Fedex, as the house next to me was torn down, and on the other side is a Brookshire’s. Overall, this whole thing has been an annoying, and stressful waste of my time, and hopefully Amazon can remedy the situation.
Easy to assemble? Absolutely. Assembling nothing is simple.
Comfortable? Like sitting on air, because there is no chair.
Support? Promises as tangible as the air I am sitting on.

I am not usually one to write a review, however, I was so pleasantly surprised by this chair that I feel I have to.
The instructions appear to have been changed recently as they were very clear and easy to follow. It took me about ten minutes to fully assemble the chair and ottoman.
My first thought when I sat down for the first time was how comfortable the chair is. It’s very well padded and supportive. The chair easily adjusts back for further comfort.
I didn’t buy this chair for the massage feature but wow, I’m glad it has it! The massage feels very nice. It’s vibration and there are multiple modes. The heat is nice and soothing on my lower back. As I write this review, I am having a hard time wanting to get up.
If you’re on the fence about buying this chair, I would recommend you do it! It’s much better than I thought it would be.

If you read the description of this chair, it says nothing about vibrating; it actually says kneading massage. It does not have kneading massage; it vibrates, that’s it. When someone is suffering from back pain, a big vibrator is not going to help. This is a perfect example of false advertising, and I am not happy. I am so sick of being misled by sellers so they can make a buck!
