My dogs used to eat home made food that I would cook. I transferred to feeding them this because it said holistic and had lots of vitamins. My dogs were getting over weight and this helped them lose the over weight and keep them healthy. One of my dogs walks when she used to hate walks with her brain condition due to heat sensitivity. This was a game changer and better for their health and weight management.

Max is a 12 year old and I’ve had him for 10 years. From the beginning he was a fussy dog, ate only certain things but never anything he’d finish his bowl about. This included canned food, fresh food, veggies. He did like chicken, beef, lean hamburger, you know the expensive stuff. I’ve bought dry dog food in very small bags, knowing he’d not likely eat it anyhow and the same for canned dog food, he’d pick at it. When I bought this chicken and also the beef dog canned dog food I didn’t know it was a “pate” type food, not regular canned food and I almost sent it back knowing he wouldn’t eat it. But I did open a can and decided to start with the chicken. This was unbelievable, not only did he not “pick at it” he licked the bowl clean …. and the same with the beef “pate”. Shocking really. Anyhow, that’s what he’s getting from now on. The price is reasonable. He weighs 24# so not a large dog, but he still gets only 1/2 can each day, with a few treats and he’s doing really well with that. Thank you for this great product!! Almost time to reorder:))

My dogs go nuts for this dog food the only complaint I have is that all the cans in the package had dents in them that made it more difficult to get the food out of the can let alone stack them

Dog food isn’t not all the same, its a dogs preference. My dog didn’t care for it but that doesn’t mean yours won’t smelled good though.

Great moist canned dog food. My older dog has a very tender stomach. It doesn’t take much to give her diarrhea. However she can eat Blue Buffalo products without upsetting her intestines. I don’t have to do any kind of food transitioning when she gets a new BB food. She’s losing some of her teeth and it’s hard for her to chew some things, but there’s no problems what flavor or type products I use. Sometimes she get their canned meals, a treat when she’s been especially good and I can wet down her dry kibble so it’s easier to choose. She’s in good health and I owe to to eating BB products for the last 8 years I’ve had her.

Honestly, I don’t know exactly how healthy this canned dog food is. I try to buy the best, I read the other reviews and spend the extra money to get what I hope is good quality dog food. So far I think this dog food is good, all of my dogs like it and readily eat it, but I also add my own homemade dog food on top of it. I give them about a 50/50 of canned and my own food made out of ground beef, chicken, pork, eggs and other goodies. Of all the canned dog foods that I’ve tried I think I like this one second best. The food looks good in the can and I can see pieces of vegetables in it. It’s kind of hard packed but scoops out easily.

I have a rescue dog – apparently part Chow and Shepherd, and he is an extremely picky eater. I have tried many types of canned dog foods and Blue Buffalo was the first canned food he eats without having to dress it up with shredded cheese or spaghetti sauce (homemade). Some canned dog foods he simply will not eat. I also give him some kibble and a dog stew I make for him. Supplementing the homemade with canned has made my life so much easier. He now looks healthier, happier and full of energy at 10 yrs old. I really recommend this product for its ingredients and likeability!

Great food for my dog. He gobbles this up in the morning and the evening. He likes both flavors and eats them regularly. We have tried other foods, as he has a picky stomach, but we always have come back to the Blue Buffalo. Pup is a 3 year old, Boxer/Pit Bull mix who is very energetic and this gives me a good meal. Recommended by our vet, we will keep feeding our pup this food.

My dog hated the kibbles or the frozen rolls of dog food I mixed with my own added ingredients. My ingredients would be gone. The stuff I mentioned remained. He had to be desperate to eat it. So I switched that stuff out and moved in Blue Buffalo in cans. Now he not only eats all I put in front of him, he shows up spontaneously to let me know he wants some now, when I am having breakfast, lunch or when I go for a snack before bed. To appease him I measure out just a half ounce until he’s actually due for his next meal.

This one they look forward to eating. They love their blue buffalo since I’ve moved over to this brand in both the wet and the dry food. They love the smell and texture of this food. The ingredients are quality and it’s easy for my two dogs to chew and digest.

Our boxer mix loves it but the last couple of times, 2-3 cans are badly dented near top or bottom rims and we are not comfortable with using these cans. So even on sale, we are still losing money.

Well for small dogs this not the one for them. Smells good, appeared to be good. Texture ok. However for a small dog it was to much protein in the food. I had to change her food to something with less protein because she was not drinking enough water and her fur was falling out.

I’ve been feeding my dog this for a few weeks now, and it’s been a great addition to his diet. The texture is hearty and easy to mix with dry food, and he gets genuinely excited at mealtime. I appreciate that real meat is the first ingredient and that it doesn’t contain artificial preservatives. His digestion has been consistent, and his coat looks healthy and shiny. Definitely keeping this in our rotation.
