As a satisfied owner of a Theragun G3, I thought I already had the ultimate massage gun, but this Bob & Brad massager pretty much blows it away in every respect. Where the Theragun only runs for 30ish minutes on a charge and has a bulky proprietary charger, the Bob & Brad lasts seemingly forever (we’re talking HOURS on one charge) AND it charges with just a regular USB-C cable. The B&B has more speeds, you can put more force on it, plus it’s easily quieter than the Theragun. Best of all, there’s a wide variety of heads with the B&B, including the “airbag” one that basically dampens the force, meaning that you can use the massage gun on sensitive areas like the back of the legs that you would never dare to try with a regular massage gun head. Did I mention this thing cost about half of my outdated G3 and it’s literally 1/3 the price of the Theragun Pro?
It looks like some people in the reviews have had quality issues with their unit dying, so I’d say use it as much as you can before the warranty runs out. But for me, it’s been so far, so good – I’ve been using this thing regularly for over a year with no issues. Highly recommended!

I have been a therapeutic massage therapist for 16 years and use the gun daily on myself for self care. This massage gun is my 3rd but my 1st Bob and Brad.
My 1st gun was a Theragun Pro. Almost immediately upon use the rubber shell over the gun started to peel away. Not sure why since I only used it on myself and did not need to disinfect. It lasted for about a year before the motor went out (started sounding liked metal balls were clanging around inside.)
I bought another Theragun and that one lasted about 6 months before the same happened.
So I did more research and found that this Bob and Brad had the highest stall force of 85 pounds and 16mm deep amplitude. The stall force is how much pressure you can exert on the gun before the motor will stop or stall. The amplitude is how deep of penetration into the muscle it can go.
Needless to say, I think I found my replacement gun. The gun’s shape and weight are different from the Theragun. So it took some getting used to. It is heavier than the Theragun but I figure it’ll just give me a bit of an arm workout until I’m used to it.
The gun comes in an attractive carrying case. The 7 gun attachments are different and much better than the Theragun, I feel. I really can get deeper into the muscles with the different heads. The 90° rotating arm helps getting different muscle angles. There are also 6 different speed levels. All of this combined, I feel really helps me to get deeper into my problem areas. And even tho it feels like a stronger gun than the Theragun, it is a quieter massage gun.
So far, I’ve had this gun for a month and I am very happy with it. I really do use it daily, sometimes multiple times a day. I will update my review if anything happens, but I definitely recommend this as a great buy for massage therapists, athletes, weight lifters. Anyone who needs to maintain their bodies for what they do for a living.

This massage gun feels like it came straight out of a professional clinic. It’s honestly more powerful than I’ll ever need, but that’s a huge plus, since it can handle absolutely anything. I usually stick to the lowest setting with the softest attachment, and even then, the results are incredible. It’s excellent for easing cramps, loosening tight muscles, and relieving pain during recovery.
The battery life is phenomenal as it seems to last forever, easily running all day without a recharge. Built tough and solid, it feels like something you’d find in a physical therapy office and has the strength to tackle even the largest muscle groups. It’s not the lightest device, so I wouldn’t recommend it for someone very frail, but for anyone who needs serious relief, it’s perfect.
There’s also a lighter version, the D5, which I bought two for my wife to use at home and in her office. For myself, I picked up two D6s, one for home and one for work. We’ve both been really impressed with Bob and Brad products; the quality is consistently excellent.
On top of that, customer service has been fantastic. Ava helped me quickly resolve an issue, and her support was outstanding. Between the performance of the product and the exceptional service, I couldn’t be more impressed.

This massage gun has a premium build and great features. If I could change one thing, it would be the weight; it’s definitely on the heavier side, though I suspect that’s due to a larger battery. Now for the good parts:
1. The head rotates 90 degrees, making it easy to reach difficult spots by yourself.
2. It comes with 8 different attachments that are soft to the touch, so they aren’t jarring on joints or bones.
3. Excellent Battery Life: The battery is incredibly solid. I’ve only charged it once in three weeks; after at least 20 uses, it still has 50% remaining.
4. Infrared Feature: The infrared attachment heats up surprisingly fast. It works wonders on smaller muscle groups after a workout or for general pain relief.

I first purchased the Bob and Brad D6 massage gun in Nov. 2024. I use the Bob and Brad D6 massage gun both before going to the gym, and after finishing at the gym, five days a week, and once a day on my two recovery days I am 64 years old and require a lot more warm up and cool down than I once did and this massage gun is a great asset for both these tasks. Each of my massage gun session last about 15 minutes.
The Bob and Brad D6 massage gun is an excellent massage gun. The three main things I look for in a quality massage gun are amplitude (the depth or length of the back-and-forth stroke of the percussion massage head which is measured in millimeters (mm), stall force, and how quiet it is. The amplitude is 16mm which is as large as any massage I’ve researched. The Bob and Brad’s D6 massage gun’s stall force, which is the amount of pressure you can apply before the gun stalls is 85 pounds of pressure. The large amplitude combined with high stall force make this gun great for the larger muscles of the legs and buttocks. The Bob and Brad D6 massage gun come with six different message heads I usually only use the Ball, or the pillow for the smaller muscles and sensitive areas but try them all because this will come down to personal preference, and individual needs. Finally given its size and power I’ve found the Bob and Brad D6 massage gun is surprisingly quiet.
I researched a lot of massage guns before buying the Bob and Brad D6 massage gun and the only other brand that I could find even close with regards to specs was the Thurogun pro but its stall force was considerably less than the than the Bob and Brad D6 massage gun, and the Thurmond gun pro costs about 2 1/2 times more than the Bob and Brad D6 massage gun.
Bob and Brad’ s D6 massage gun offers a two year warranty which is a testament to the company’s faith in this product.k
I would like to mention Bob and Brad’s customer service which has been very helpful when I contacted them about both when the gun should be charged and then questions regarding the heads for this product.

We’re extremely happy with this purchase. The adjustable handle is super handy for using the massage gun on yourself. The battery lasts forever. It comes with several nice interchangeable heads. It also comes with a nice case and is small enough to make it pack away nice for traveling. It has brought a ton of relief for a constant problem spot in my back!

I was an automotive tech for 20 years and have been and office worker for about 15 on hard concrete floors . I have issues that have become worse as I near my mid 50’s. Mostly life long back pain and hip issues. The rest are regular stress related knots we all get.
I have had percussion massage guns and a naipo massager that kneads. This machine is a whole other planet!!
I put off getting a massage gun for the last 2 years. I first got a Littlemum product and the Triggerpoint Therapy workbook. Great products that unlocked a lot of my back shoulders and piriformis , tensors , gluteus minimus etc issues.
The problem was that i could feel the pain areas but a rubber ball or silicone tools were just no longer helping past a certain level.
It’s Tuesday and I got this Sunday morning. I have massaged my issues to a point where my hips don’t ache in the morning and my legs dont get shocks and burning sensations in the night. My pain during the day is much better since working my tensor fasciae latea and gluteus minimus and piriformis.
My wife has had a few falls and is locked up in her legs. She also has issues and trigger points due to this. A few sessions with this massager has freed up some of her pain just a few days into self treatment.
So We only use it to about 1700 because the speed really starts to jigsaw and pound with a bit more sting. PLEASE BE AWARE: you can hurt yourself with this so read the manual.
The plunger depth and speed make this tool efficient. It sort of rebounds off of you so quickly that it feels like tapping. If you put weight and pressure behind it it starts to knock into you pretty good. Ive only used the ball and the soft pad so far and it’s already really good.
The skin adhesion to my leg muscles is more broken down. I feel like I stand better due to muscles not pushing and pulling due to trigger points.
The interesting bit here is that if you start massaging non problem areas you will discover your knots. I found my inner calves quite tens and the hamstrings just below the buttocks muscles. Biceps ached when massaging them.
I joint in my hand that I had sprained that felt arthritic is now much better.
That’s my story people. I recommend the product .

Wir haben uns die Bob & Brad D6 Ultra Massagepistole gekauft, da meine Frau seit längerer Zeit extreme Verspannungen im Lendenwirbelbereich hat, die auch mit manueller Therapie von mehreren Masseuren nicht besser wurden. Die Beschwerden waren so schlimm, dass bereits Taubheitsgefühle auf der Hinterseite des Beins auftraten, da vermutlich der Nerv immer wieder die Verspannungen gequetscht wurde.
Ich muss dazu sagen, dass wir bereits ein mobile Massagepistole von Bob & Brad besitzen und mit dieser extrem zufrieden waren, sonst hätten wir vermutlich nicht so viel Geld für eine weiter bezahlt. Es hat sich jedoch gelohnt, denn was soll ich sagen, nach einer Woche abendlicher Therapie mit der D6 Ultra sind die Beschwerden meiner Frau soweit zurückgegangen, dass sie den Alltag wieder problemlos bewältigen kann. Warum hat das mit der kleineren Massagepistole nicht genau so gut funktioniert? Meine Frau sagt, dass die D6 Ultra deutlich tiefer wirkt. Ich führe das auf das deutlich höhere Gewicht des Geräts zurück, mit dem ich als “Masseur arbeiten” kann.
Damit wären wir auch schon bei dem einzigen Nachteil, den ich bei dem Gerät feststellen konnte: Die Eigenmassage ist aufgrund des höheren Gewichts schwieriger als bei den kleineren Modellen. Das liegt in der Natur der Sache und lässt sich nicht vermeiden. Man sollte sich lediglich darüber im Klaren sein, dass dieses Gerät am besten funktioniert, wenn eine andere Person damit arbeitet und einen massiert. Dann wirkt es jedoch (zumindest in unserem Fall) kleine Wunder.
Wie man im Video sehen kann, ist das Zubehör, also die Anzahl der Massageköpfe sehr groß. Alles ist von hoher Qualität und es gibt sogar ein kleines Büchlein dazu, was eine Anleitung für die Behandlung aller möglichen Beschwerden mit der D6 beschreibt, inklusive der optimalen Massageköpfe.
Fazit: Die D6 Ultra ist sicherlich nicht die günstigste Massagepistole am Markt. Sie ist ein Premium-Modell mit einem entsprechenden Preis. Trotzdem hat sich der Kauf für uns gelohnt, da wir nur so die wirklich schlimmen Rückenschmerzen meiner Frau in den Griff bekommen haben. Ich würde sie auf jeden Fall wieder holen, denn ich halte das Gerät tatsächlich für deutlich effektiver als die üblichen manuellen Therapien, die man in Deutschland verordnet bekommt, und die meiner Meinung nach kaum mehr als Wohlfühlmassagen sind. Wer echte Power braucht und sich den Masseur sparen möchte, liegt mit der D6 Ultra genau richtig.

If I could rate 10 stars I would! I had an Opove massage gun for years and it gave me some pain relief in my shoulder. It stopped working a little while ago and I was looking for a replacement. Chose this massage gun and not only does it give relief I have no pain after using it, amazing! I highly recommend this massage gun, you won’t be sorry! Efficiency with results, especially as compared with budget model from another company. It feels like 1 or 2 minutes provides the same result as 5+ minutes with another massage gun. Used this massage gun after basketball games and running a 10k in the past 2 weeks, I was impressed with how quickly I was able to walk without lingering soreness or tightness (just a few minutes of use).
All the attachments feel high quality construction, they are made with premium silicone/foam materials. Connection for the attachment is simple and secure. The attachment heads cover a variety of different densities, shapes, and surface areas to target different muscle groups. The heat head attachment was a pleasant surprise. I found it most effective at the high temperature setting.
Ability to adjust the position of the head is nice and very easy to change.
User Manual is surprisingly informative and easy to navigate, providing a ton of insight to a novice user like myself. It includes guidance for the application of each attachment head, the available modes on the gun itself and when they are best used, and even methods/movements on how to effectively treat each muscle group.
It’s cool that there are multiple preset modes. I personally like Mode 2, which cycles from an initial slow speed and increases incrementally.
The gun is not very noisy or an unpleasant pitch.
Handle is sturdy and provides multiple grip angles for targeting different muscle areas. Sometimes, my hand would get tired using a traditional, circular T-shaped handle on my previous budget massage gun.
Comes in a sturdy but lightweight travel case, making it easy to bring to games or in a bag/suitcase.
