Flavor is very strong and, for me ,tasty. Seems extracting brings out the yang as much as the yin of this herb. Was expecting more of the muscle relaxing qualities as opposed to ginseng type qualities. Seems very potent otherwise. The ladies should know more.

This is not pure Dong Quai root powder. You can tell with one whiff when you open the package. It is an “extract” form which includes dextrin. True Dong Quai root has a strong, marvelous aroma. This brand has none. It is a cheap alternative–but not worth it. I threw the contents on the compost pile.

I have never had another hot flash. Thank Goodness for donq quai! Angelica sinensis. If menopause symptoms are not something you are willing to suffer through, then you should consider investing a little bit of money to see if this works as well for you as it did for me!! Yay! No More hot flashes EVER!!

In the picture of the back of the bag it says NONE for other ingredients, but when you get the dong quai extract powder in the mail it says DEXTRIN for other ingredients. Kind like false advertising…can I return this?

This has an additive that is not listed in the description! I ordered this because I thought it was pure like the description says. When I received it, it has dextrin added in the ingredients. I’m very annoyed. Quality going down. So you really don’t know what is really in this! Buyers beware if you are looking for 100% Dong Quai. I’d look elsewhere.
