- Hand crafted from water buffalo bone, this rune set presents the 24 runes of the Elder Futhark and one blank stone in the age old style, perfectly suited for divination and magic. Comes in pouch.

These are a good set of runes that are beautiful, nice texture, and sturdy. The symbols are accurate and easy to read but there are 2 minor nit picks. For some people this is not an issue but it bothered me, there is a little space between some of the lines so some of the runes are not connected. An example is the Kenaz rune < having both lines close but not quite touching in my set. However they are still really nice and are exactly as shown in the picture. I decided to simply have my own ceremony to finish the runes with an exacto knife, acrylic black paint, and a few other things to make it a nice personal ceremony. They were very tough to cut and work but after a few hours of careful work are perfect in my eyes. This is not required since they do come very nice as is but it added a nice final touch to mine. The other thing is I was very happy with the runes but I do recommend getting a different bag for them. The one these come in is big enough to hold them but not big enough to comfortably fit your hand into to grab the runes and with how nice these runes are you will want a quality bag for them. Over all a very good set and at a reasonable price. I am glad I got these.

These runes are so beautiful and well made! They came quickly and I was so impressed they are bone which makes for more of a spiritual connection. If you are looking for authentic this is the set! The weight is comparable to weighted dice and each carved symbol is deep ,they are smooth but you can see the grain slightly that supports the cut of the bone. And the color is off white . I’m sure to have these runes to pass down to my kids!

I purchased these to replace a set of stone ones I had for years and loved but I am missing too many of them. I chose this set specifically because they are made of bone and are small and smooth and the feel is really important to me for some reason. Its also important to me that they are made from natural materials, they just feel more authentic to me that way.
There are only two things that kept me from granting 5 stars:
1. The set was missing “Gebo” (Generosity – “X”)
2. Some of the Runes are difficult to tell apart – I had to lay them all out in front of a chart to be sure which was which, so then I wrote their names on the back for easy reference.
Overall, its a great set that I will continue to call on for advice when I need it. Highly recommend!!

I purchased these as a gift for a friends teenager. The girl has very small hands and these bone runes are very nice and on the small size. They could also be used as travel runes if space is an issue when packing. The gift was received with enthusiasm and are being used regularly, so I’d say they were a hit. They are a good buy for the price.

Nice set, I really hope they are real … Kinda feel real but meh, they work good for me. Keep in mind runes chose the person and in tradition the rune cast must be chosen but the runes themselves in order for the magic to ring true…. Bloodlines matter when divination with runes.
