I like how this tastes. My previous favorite was taken off the market, but this is very close. My family makes a lot of iced tea from this, though sometimes we do drink it hot. Suitably diluted and chilled, it is incredibly refreshing on a hot day.
For those who aren’t fans of the stronger tasting green teas, this is a great way to get into the health benefits of green tea. It has a pretty mild flavor mostly due to having been made from white tea plant.
Really wish I could buy this at my local grocery store. For some reason they stock this size only in DECAF.

I’ve tried many green teas in my quest to swear off coffee for good. My goal is to go healthier and not drink a tea that I’ve got to load up with sugar, honey, or agave nectar. Ideally, I’d like to drink the tea without any additives at all. But let’s face it, most green tea’s are either bitter or taste like lightly flavored water unless you add something to sweeten them up a bit. I’ve found this is not the case with Celestial Seasonings Green Tea. I’m not sure if its the white tea blend, the type of green tea they use, or some super secret bag design, but this green tea is smooth and easy to drink with no additives. I even use this tea to make pitchers of iced tea. I do sweeten that though, with some agave nectar.
My one complaint (I took off 1 star for this) is the bag design. There is no string to pull the bag out with. I get what they’re doing, they’re going green (haha…). I keep a box of this tea at work and I have a cup every morning. I don’t always have a spoon or something handy to fish the bag out with. I usually end up using coffee stirrers, and that usually ends up with me burning my fingers trying to get it out.

Felt like I was drinking warm water. I tried brewing at 175 degrees and got bland tasting water, so tried it at 200 degrees to see if it would help. Same thing. Tea is not going into the water. Junk. Also a note on packaging, these are not individually wrapped. All tea bags are in one package. Tea bags do not have strings to pull the tea out. I do like their k cups so I don’t know why these are so bad.

I never run out of this tea. It has been proven in a clinical study to have a high amount of EGCG and other polyphenols. It tastes good and is good for your immune system.

Used daily to make pitcher of cold brew tea – 5 bags in a gallon pitcher with some lemon juice leaves me happy & hydrated all day long. Nice smooth flavor and a fraction of the cost compared to grocery stores, truly a home run

I know this tea has been changed somewhat in recent years and this is not the same as the old CS Authentic Green Tea I have bought from the grocery store in the past. I have always used this tea in iced tea and hot tea. In the ice tea version I used to blend into the mix one china pearl bag decaf white bag to 5 green ones in a 3 liter pitcher. This brought the flavor character to the tea the way I liked best. Now that they no longer sell that white tea it is good they are adding the white tea to the the green to give me that same even character. I would always recommend people when they drink hot tea to only seep tea bags at 130F to 145F water to bring out the best character in green tea (or white teas). This brings outs the best flavor of the tea without a hint of the astringent flavor character you get when drinking tea seeped in boiling water.

Product exactly as pictured and described. Celestial Seasoning packing is also always nice. I generally use the boxes in the cabinet instead of transferring them to a jar or.box because the designs are cute. Good tea, smells delicious, tastes even better. Good visual as always.
