I only got this after watching a youtube recommendation from dermatologists, where they recommended a specific ingredient that this cream has, to help with bumpy skin. I really dont know how this cream is supposed to work, but I’ll monitor use over next month, and will see if any improvements appear. I do hope it works though as my skin is a mess right now

I’ve been using this lotion for over a year now, and the difference in my skin texture is impressive. The rough patches on my arms and thighs have noticeably smoothed out, and those tiny bumps (keratosis pilaris, I think?) have almost disappeared. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy residue, which is a big plus.
The scent is subtle and clean, and completely fragrance-free for my sensitive skin. Also, the packaging could use some improvement—it’s hard to get the last bit out of the bottle.

Story time!! I’m 30 years old and I’ve always had dry skin, prone to stretch marks, slight translucent, and occasional karatosis Pilaris (red, hard bumps, looks like mild acne on arms, chest, back, and butt, leg’s) . As a teen I never wore shorts because it was embarrassing not to have soft legs. They didn’t look bad, they just were kinda matte even with lotion. Recently I bought Cerave body wash and lotion at the store. My skin looked better, felt better, was so soft and normal. My bumps are gone. After a few glasses of wine I got on Amazon and ordered a bunch of Cerave products to try them out. I got the bar soap, face wash, bumpy skin lotion, bumpy body wash, the dark blue container for extremely dry skin, the pump jar, the day and night cream, and the vitamin C serum. Sober me was happy to see all of these products today. I took a shower and tried different ones and I love them all!!!! No after shower itchy skin from hot water, everything is so soft, no itching or burning from these products. Honestly I’ve bought so much stuff to help me. Even Aveeno gave me dry skin. Lotion, oil, vaseline, homemade natural stuff whipped up in my kitchen, nothing worked. Just from what I got at the store my skin looked like everyone else’s, but tonight it has that extra soft shine without being greasy. Products just soaked right in and my skin feel’s comfortable. Some products go better on damp skin. The moisturizing face wash is great but I used it after using the bar soap to remove makeup. The moisturizing face wash doesn’t foam up, so sometimes you’ll need something extra, but it is super moisturizing. The bar soap is great you have to really work up a lather at first but it’s so gentle, and moisturizing. I used it everywhere and when I got out of the shower I wasn’t dry and itchy, and this is before lotioning!! Night cream over vita C serum feels so good, not greasy vita C serum is thin, night cream is not heavy, soaked in quick face is so soft. Hang tried the day cream yet, but will tomorrow. Go to the drug store and buy a small lotion, if you like it then I highly suggest trying other thing’s, maybe before drinking a half bottle of Moscato. Since I bought so much stuff I’m posting the same comment on the other things I bought.

I live in a dry climate with hard water, and my forearms are sun damaged. My dry bumpy skin responds well to this lotion which isn’t greasy or oily. I have to apply it a couple of times a day without rubbing into my skin completely, because this works better for me. Lotion doesn’t have a scent.

I cannot say enough about this stuff.
I’ve had contact dermatitis my entire life so I’ve always been covered in bumps. I hated it. I started using this stuff and within a couple weeks my skin was smooth and soft for the first time in my entire life.
It’s not too thick, the texture is just right and dry skin loves this stuff. It absorbs right into my skin so quickly it’s like my skin is drinking it. I’ve always got dry skin, especially in the winter, so that’s a really nice aspect.
I haven’t noticed changes in skin tone from it necessarily, but the texture and visual look of my skin has changed.
Don’t be frightened by the SA aspect. It doesn’t cause any irritation. This stuff works to repair your skins natural barrier while also reducing bumps or rough patches, so with continued use, it makes your skin better and better.
If you’re thinking about trying this, do it.

Like many other buyers, I bought this lotion for my body to treat KP.
I like it! It’s not too thick, easily absorbs on my arms and legs and doesn’t leave any strange smell. It dries quickly so I don’t end up feeling “sticky” – which plays a large factor in my usual avoidance of body moisturizers.
As for KP treatment, I decided to start showering with a Salicylic Acid body wash and I use a firm loofah to scrub in circular motions. I moisturize with this afterwards. After about a month, I did notice my skin was smoother and less prone to KP. In fact, it’s a lot better. This said, it’s not completely resolved, but overall I’m happy with this lotion and I’ll stick to it.
I’m not entirely sure if this is meant for your body or face, or both, but I haven’t used it on my face. It will sting if you have any razor burn/sensitivity from shaving, so avoid on these areas.
I will buy it again. I use probably 2-4 pumps each time, but because it’s a smaller portion I’ll need to purchase more often.
