I tried this hemp oil for my dog mainly to help with his elbow pain, but I’m honestly not sure if it was making much of a difference. I was hoping for noticeable relief, but if it was helping, the effects were subtle at best. That said, I may not have used it long enough or consistently enough to get the full benefits.
As for relaxation, it might have had a mild calming effect, but it wasn’t anything dramatic. Overall, I don’t think it worked as well as I’d hoped, at least for pain relief. Maybe it works better for some dogs than others, but I probably wouldn’t buy it again.

We have a lab/great dane mix who has anxiety issues around certain sounds. Thunder, gunshots (we live in a rural area), firecrackers, etc. We have tried prescription sedatives that frankly don’t work that well. We also use a hemp type product that is in the form of chews that eventually seem to do something, although it’s never helped him while the storm, or fireworks are still booming and banging. I had high hopes for this Hemp Oil. It just works about as good as the chews we give him. We’ve found nothing that calms him during a storm, but this oil seems to calm him a tiny bit faster after the storm stops. It does seem to cause him to fall asleep quicker after the storm. I don’t think it tastes very well since he fights having it squirted in his mouth. There is an issue with the dropper that I don’t like. I don’t know if it’s because it’s an oil solution but the dropper doesn’t push out all of the solution even when it’s squeezed hard. As a matter of fact it doesn’t even squirt out half of the dropper. We have to squeeze it multiple times which is difficult when a giant dog is fighting against it. I don’t know how much pain relief it offers. Our dog is an old guy and has joint issues so I can’t address that. Overall I think this is as good a product for this type of problem that we’ve found.

So I have a 3 year old cat who has not been Diagnosed with his issue yet sadly because he’s too fiesty for the vets. But I am going in to get a X-ray on his brain/head with sedation soon for him. But he was showing signs of lots of pain in his head in one specific spot above his eye, no swelling, no obvious wound. He was very miserable and super out of it. He wasn’t acting like himself at all, wanted nothing to do with his friend, always hiding, meowing/growling out of no where from the pain, head tilting, not sleeping much or relaxing. It was very difficult to comfort him eventually when the pets and cuddles weren’t enough. And just to do that I had to put him on my pet and get him comfortable enough to lay down with me. The vets had given me medicine that helps for pain but it wasn’t really doing the trick. He still acted the same even after a few days of using the medication from the vets. My dad had suggested getting a cbd/hemp oil to ease his pain until I could get another appointment and be able to afford the proper work to find a diagnosis. First I started with giving him 1/4 of the dropper in the morning and the vets medicine at night. Showed a little bit of a result but not much. He’s a fat kitty so I decided giving him 1/2 of the dropper in the morning with some food and at night I started giving him 1/2 of the dropper with food as well. Since I do this at 7am and 11pm (cause of school and work) I sometimes give him 1/4 of the dropper by mouth in the afternoon before I leave for work so I know he’s relaxed and okay without me. He started to show great results, moving like normal again, being outside of his comfort spot (the closet) coming back to bed with me on his own, no signs of pain without actually touching the spot like before. Meowing without growling or sounding like he’s in pain, sleeping like a baby without struggling from pain. Sometimes I come home from work (9 hrs later) and he’s back under the bed or in a hiding spot assuming cause it wore off. So that’s why I give him 2-3 doses a day. I’m guessing he has brain cancer/a tumor/ or a neurological problem. So giving him those doses gives him so much relief and I could not be happier with this product, my cat is happy and I’m happy he isn’t miserable. Well aware this product won’t just heal the problem but I’m happy it’s going to give him that ease in the meantime til me and the vets figure out what this reoccurring problem is. DEFINITELY recommend!!!

I was looking into different natural remedies to curb seizures for my wife and i’s pomeranian. We’ve had him since he was around 7-9 weeks old. Here we are 3½ years later, and this product was among the first of the suggested products widely used and available. Upon arrival, I was ecstatic and felt a surge of hope fill my wife. Of course, I read the directions for use and adequately measured the amount needed for our little Snack-pack. Within the following 8-10 hours after administering this treatment, he had succumb to lethargy and began yelping every couple minutes or so. This lasted throuout the entirety of the night. My wive obviously distressed, felt that it may be the product causing him to be “drunk” and scared. I am here to tell you, that I’m no stranger to the reaper, and he’s stayed close for pretty much as far back as I can remember. But I have never felt so upset as to literally watch our “son’s” life be snuffed out thinking we were helping him and giving him some relief. I held him that whole night trying to keep him calm and he seemed so scared the entire time and all I could do was comfort him. I feel whole heartedly that his death was a direct result of this product. We would be much happier dealing with his seizures everyday, than to be in this state of mourning and loss. I still hear him tapping on the floor when I get up in the morning for work. I still look for him when I get home to greet me as he’s been patiently waiting all day for me. My wife and i can still hear his little yips and yelps from that night. Let us be an example to you, and say to you please, if you love your little companion DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT! look into something else.

If I could give more stars I would I only wait3d about 14 days since I got it but the results were so immediate! My 13 year old cat has or had a limp in her back leg and hip and it is completely gone she has started playing again and even jumped up on her kitchen chair we she used to and now again supervising us cook 🤣I was stunned when she jumped up the first time in probably years ! She eats it fine a few drops on her wet food and the best part no effect to her poop which had happened when I was giving her cosequin I stopped because it wasn’t helping much and made her poop like diarrhea but this stuff an impressive no effect and actual mood energy and clear pain relief its so hard because they can’t talk to us and tell us what they need bit seeing her walk without the limp for the first time in years has been so amazing!

1) it takes more than the recommended dosage to relax my dogs… I have a 50 lb pitbull and a 10lb maltese/poodle
2) the energy levels of my dogs didn’t calm down until about 45 minutes after digestion
3) used it for my dog’s pain relief on their hip as a topical oil, and it actually worked after 30 minutes
4) my dogs hate the taste; instead, it’s easier if mixed into the food

I got this product last Sunday. I was a wreck because I thought my 16 year old dog’s quality of life was gone and was afraid I may have to consider euthanasia. She looked like she was in so much pain that she couldn’t even react to me that morning, she just sat hunched and swaying staring ahead. Her back legs (both had torn acl and healed in the past) looked limp and I thought her arthritis was so bad that she might be unable to walk at all. She did eventually get up, but that led to her just uncomfortably pacing from room to room, like she was afraid to stop even though she was in so much pain. Our vet gave us rimadyl to use sparingly whenever needed, which always helped in the past, but this time she started breathing heavily like she was in a different sort of pain. Again; I thought we might need to take her to the ER but her breathing calmed before too long. But now I’m thinking perhaps the rimadyl stresses her internally too much now. I was beside myself, not knowing how else to help her manage her arthritis pain. I decided to try cbd oil, which I’ve used in the past for my cat. My cat HATED the cbd we had her on before – each dose eventually made her feel better, but until it fully kicked in she was miserable. But I wanted to try something for my dog that might ease her pain without having to be processed the same as her pain meds.
My dog turned around almost instantly. I mixed it in with peanut butter and she didn’t love the taste at first but she still ate it because she saw I wanted her to (she’s an exceptionally good girl lol). She finally felt good enough to get some much needed rest, and when she woke up she came to me for cuddles. In fact, every time I give her a dose she comes to me afterwards; like she’s thanking me 💗. She also scarfs down the peanut butter cbd treat without hesitation now because she knows she feels better right after. Multiple times this week, she got the zoomies and was acting like a puppy (we actually had to try to get her to dial it back a bit so she doesn’t hurt herself, especially when she got into that lowered play stance in front of her Great Dane brother lol). But thats her story – she was in blinding pain from arthritis and no longer seemed to tolerate rimadyl well, and this took her from complete misery to being almost puppy-like again. Thank you for helping us bring back her quality of life – I want her to be happy and feel good for as long as we can and this was a huge help ♥️

Thank goodness I found this. I have a very skittish cat who is constantly scratching from anxiety, and I didn’t want to take him to the vet and give him those heavy duty medication so I try this. I have to tell you my cat is more relaxed more calm, no side effects no scratching and works perfectly.. I don’t put it in his food because he’s too smart and won’t eat it, but he does let me give it to him by mouth. It doesn’t smell. It doesn’t feel that oily and he tolerates it. Well he seems so much better. I’m gonna continue to use this.

This medication has saved my cats life! He was originally feral, I’ve had him for 12 years. He stared being aggressive, hiding, crying in pain, bowel problem, passing blood incontantly. The vets said he would most likely need to be put down, and the stress would likely give him a heart attack.
I’ve been giving him this for the last 4 months. He’s back to his happy self. No more accidents outside of litter box, he is down to maybe one accident every 3 weeks. Used to be daily and much less severe. Almost all of his symptoms have gone and I see better progress everyday.
