A new dimension in holistic healing, Color Medicine provides a powerful technique for treating specific imbalances and strengthening the immune system. By combining aura-attuned chromatherapy with harmonious sounds, tissue salts, and hydrochromatherapy, the 49th vibrational technique was developed. It is safe, simple, economical, and highly effective.

A breakthrough, yet as old as recorded medicine, Color Medicine utilizes the subtle energy vibrations similar to those found in the visible spectrum–the 49th octave. Light energy is processed through color filters and irradiated into the aura. By matching corresponding wavelengths to the organs and systems of the body, it strengthens or sedates energy in the distressed areas, creating a support system for the healing process.

A textbook and how-to handbook, it encompasses an encyclopedia of vital, fascinating information, charts, diagrams, and tables, as well as methods of treatment and technical advice. Whether you are a holistic practitioner or merely curious, this book marks a new frontier in the world of alternative healing.

  • Explore the electromagnetic effects on physical/etheric bodies
  • Recognizing the aura: color meanings and tonal equivalents
  • Adjusting the body’s oscillations by sound
  • Effects of monochord/color and rhythm on the body
  • Interplay between music and the chakra system
  • Biochemical system’s dependency on light
  • Materials and practical techniques
  • 123 major illnesses and their treatments

This is a very easy to read book. I really like the way the author explains color theory, as it is and can get
very technical. Klotsche also lists 123 dis-eases and gives the corresponding color treatment as developed by
    Dinshah Ghadiali.
There are a few questions I have though as to the corresponding notes to color and I would question this and
seek to do more research. For example, as has been taught by many in the holistic field the color Red
corresponds to the note C, the color Orange to the note D and so on. Dinshah and Klotsche challenge this and
have come up with an entirely different set of rules. Overall this is a great book and I would recommend it
for anyone who is interested in Color Therapy and Vibrational Healing.

Il y a des livres sur la chromothérapie qui sont mieux documentés, plus instructifs et qui vont plus en profondeur dans le sujet, mais dans l’ensemble, j’ai bien aimé lire ce livre. C’est une bonne introduction.

At only about 130 pages, I find this book to be quite informative and easy to read. It is basically about the usage of the 49th Vibrational Technique (color which can be combined with sound–musical notes–for healing purposes) and acknowledges the work of East Indian physician Dr. Dinshah P. Ghadiali. The technique of recirculating blocked energy goes back to at least 500 B.C. and was used by Pythagoras and others. The 49th Octave is a vibrational range that corresponds to certain colors, which fall within an electromagnetic energy spectrum. Basically, these colors can be projected to certain areas of the body to affect, and maybe heal, certain medical conditions.

I say “maybe heal” for a reason. You absolutely CANNOT heal someone who does not WANT to be healed. Been there. Yes, believe it or not, there ARE people who really do NOT WANT to be healed. It takes a 1) desire to be healed, and 2) it usually means you have to fix/change whatever made you “sick” in the first place. Change is a painful process for most people and often not worth the trouble. So, if they don’t fix whatever made them sick, the condition often returns.

Anyway, the book provides a lot of base information about colors, their vibratory rate, how colors and body energy interact, auras, chakras, energy imbalances, healing with sound, and matching color vibrations to various parts of the body. The book even provides how to information, such as what colors to place on what areas of the body to help reduce high blood pressure. An example of what colors to place on what areas is: in the back of the book, there are 123 conditions listed.Let’s pick one:
#51 Gout–Lemon and Magenta on WBF; Scarlet on 12. WBF is Whole Body Front. Area 12 is on the back side of the body, and is the kidney area. This how to is explained in more detail in chapter 5, color application. There are also diagrams of front and back area numbers and locations of major organs so you can figure out what this “language” is saying. There really is a tremendous amount of info in this roughly 113 page book (plus about 17 extra pages of end-of-book stuff.)

There are also good explanations of various colors for those who see colors in the auras or wherever. There ARE people who see colors and energy fields, but if you are checking out this book, you probably already know that.

This book is specific to Spectrochrome color therapy. It is the only book I have found besides the Spectrochrome Metry Manual on use of Spectrochrome. With this book, it will be easier to use color therapy. In a few pages, the history, method, and uses for color therapy are explained. Don’t be fooled by another commentors mention of the 49th dimension. This is only the frequency of color. He explains how to set up the lights, but this can be done easily with lights at home. He also explains how to make colored water. There are also explanations on the chakras and the aura. I have been using color therapy for years and this is a good addition to any color therapy book library. If you have the Spectochrome manual, this is all you need to use color therapy. One reader said that his scientific explanation of color theory is wrong. Don’t worry about that; do your own research. You don’t need the scientific explanation of color for this to work. I have been using Spectrochrome for years. Also, once you know the colors, you can visualize or meditate on them for the colors to work. All you need to know then is to know which color to choose. Once you use color to eliminate pain or treat a burn, and it works, you will believe in color therapy and realize it is not a pseudo science! Sone people have complained that it is black and white. Actually, that is a good thing, since colors are not always reproduced correctly in a book. Look online at color therapy sites, they still may not be correct, but it will give you an idea of how to see color. The best thing to do is buy the color filters, which are used in stage lighting and photography. The Spectrocrhrorme website will give you the best information on which colors to buy. Once you get used to using color therapy, you will start choosing more colors. Once we wrapped a bright blue cloth on an injured ankle after a large heavy bookcase fell on it. There was no swelling and the next day the person was able to go to work.

It does have some interesting points but getting hold of some of the actual filters it refers to is costly and a little tricky finding a good supplier. On the whole quite an informative book.
