I guess for what I needed it for it’s not considered extra thick. I thought for sure. It was a topper not a mattress pad topper now it could’ve been me reading the description wrong but I’m not happy with it. It’s not what I expected. It’s kind of like it looks like a feather bed, but it’s not it’s a mattress topper that has a little bit of padding on it really. It fits the mattress well don’t know about heat retention. It doesn’t have any smell so that’s good so if you’re looking for something, that’s just a soft top but not thick this could be your product.

By chance I saw this on Amazon, wasn’t going to bother but my wife said it was worth a try before we shelled out £700/£1000 on a new mattress. So we orderd it and it actually seems to work, I’ve had not back probs since I started using this a few weeks ago.
Do follow the instruction though when you first get it out of the very small box. Impressed.

Using this on our super-thick, pillow top King size mattress. The corner pockets on this mattress topper are extra deep and have no problem fitting around the mattress. Really like how the padding in the topper is segregated into squares. That keeps the filling from moving around and clumping in one place. It’s comfy as all get out.
The only thing to look out for is this is very difficult to wash due to how large it is. We have a super-size front load washing machine and this basically doesn’t fit inside with any room to squish around. Sure, you could cram it in there but then it’s so tightly packed that the center of the wadded up topper won’t even get wet. That is not a problem unique to this topper, but any in the king size, super-puffy range.
Very happy with this product. It’s our second one. Would buy again.

I wish I had bought this sooner. It seemed pretty flat when I first opened it, but it suggested that I either shake it out for three minutes or put it in the dryer. I shook it out for maybe about a minute total and it puffed up into a nice fluff. This feels so great to sleep on. It also did not make me feel hot. I bought it to replace a foam mattress pad that I had had for a while but was tearing up. I definitely think this is a lot better. My mattress is pillow top, so it is definitely thicker than the average mattress, but I had no trouble putting it on as it was bigger sized. There was no smell to it and so far it has not moved around at all on my mattress. Very happy with my purchase.

I just purchased this topper for a second bed because we already owned one – and we love it. This one is different, maybe it was in The vacuum package for a very very long time. As it is lumpy where it was rolled and folded. We let it out for 48 hours and gave it a five minute spin in the dryer, our hope is that it will work itself smooth. The one we bought a year ago had to go to the big machine at the laundromat and I must say it came out even nicer. So this washes well. Great quality.

There was no smell upon opening the package so that’s good; it doesn’t slide off of the bed even with a lot of moving and rough sleepers. 4 stars because it takes a while to properly fluff up, but it gives a 2inch more fluff my boyfriend loves it.

This is a really nice topper, thick and soft. I’m very pleased with it but wish that it was some way water resistant but that would probably give up the breathability. There was no odor on unpacking and I put it in my dryer for about 20 mins and it fluffed right up. I have slept well on it and would recommend it to others.

Yes this is as thick and cloud-like as pictured, when properly fluffed as directed. It is VERY comfortable! Will be such a big improvement you will wonder why you did not get this long ago. I cannot imagine any other brands being this good fir this price, this is perfect in every way. I am guessing any negative reviews simply did not follow directions and take the time to shake it and put it in the dryer for a few minutes because what comes out after tumbling is literally twice the size of what went into the dryer, it expands and fluffs up freakishly thick. It is indeed puffy and thick. I use it on an inflatable guest mattress and it makes it much much much more soft and comfortable, and would do the same for any regular mattress, but I liked its ability to stretch over a very deep 21″ high inflatable bed. This really is fantastic.

I love this topper. It’s warm and comfy. I had to buy to split extra long single mattresses to make a king bed as we couldn’t get our bed up the stairs in our new home. This is perfect on top of them so you don’t feel the slight gap in the middle.
