Kirsten –
A very beautiful but simple gift for the magic lover. The pieces are well made, and looks like a wood burned piece giving an older feel to them. The wood pieces are thick enough to hold up. A very nice gift at a reasonable price. The bag holds all the runes easily with a little room to spare. I haven’t had to clean any, but it looks like a wood polish or light cleaner would work fine if they got grimy. Great for my magic collection.

I have a giant divination collection, but I am embarrassed to admit that as someone of Norse descent, I had never picked up a set of runes before now. I really did want to learn, and I figured I’d start with the elder futhark, soI typically prefer stones when I’m working with anything similar to this, but I really liked the fact that these were made of wood – it adds to the rustic nature of it, I feel like, would be a good way to say it. It helps me to get myself where I need to be in order to work with them. Each one is lightweight, with a rune cut into it, and it looks a bit to me like the inner part of the cut is singed a bit and the face slightly browned- whether that is intentional or a byproduct of how it was cut, doesn’t matter, it looks great. They’re small – only about an inch long – and that makes taking them with you to occupy yourself in
applicable moments super easy and convenient. They came with a small bag/pouch and while I switched that one out for one that felt more like it belonged, there was nothing at all wrong with it – I just chose a green satin bag instead.
Overall, I’m really happy with them. The runes are defined clearly and unambiguously, and being small and lightweight they are really easy to take along with you if you’re leaving the house. I think they’re great- for beginners, especially!

I have been wanting a set of runes for a while. I made my own when I was a kid and I was planning on woodburning something like these, but I could not find blank tiles in the size I wanted.
The symbols are deeply burned into the wood which I really like, they won’t wear off. The tiles are uniform, and they were not chipped or broken. Everything arrived in great condition. The are very light weight and fit into my hand.
The bag provided is very large for these tiles and the material has some give. Stitching was good. The strings close the bag tightly.
I do wish they included a quick description of the runes and what they mean. I spent some time looking for the meanings of the symbols online and found some interesting information. I ended up purchasing a book that described the use of the runes.

Affordable and just what I was looking for

These are very nice looking, very clear rune wood blocks. The only thing I wish is that there were an included sheet telling what each rune means. Hard to use without that. Very pretty black velvet bag as well to store them in.

I have a small collection of runes going in many different styles so I was thrilled to add these into the mix. They are amazing quality with each rune having a great weight and thickness to it and a beautiful wood grain. The wood burned etching of the symbols looks really good with each stroke being carefully engraved to match the thickness of the rest. The little extra charred burn marks on the symbols make them unique and add to the antiquity and natural value of the set. Each rune is a nice and smooth shape with rounded edges making them easy to toss and land. This is definitely a great set with such a natural vibe that really plays into the spirituality of the magic and for a fair price point given the dedication to detail and quality.

Realy great energy from it

The runes are nice quality and easy to read. My only complaint is that for the price I think it could’ve come with a small instruction booklet.

Wood is too dark for my taste. It’s a little difficult to see the writing against the dark wood, but it can be seen.
Also, these runes are VERY light weight. They don’t feel like wood because of the light weight. Although they do look like wood. I suspect that because of their extreme light weight they are made out of composite material, likely including processed wood.

These feel great in my hand. They look well crafted and are accurately inscribed. A good starter set for someone looking to get into reading runes, though they don’t come with a booklet.
