These are very comfortable. The balls are at times hard to screw on and have had one break in half. The others are holding up well so far. These won’t provide total invisibility.

I have had my tongue pierced for many years, and in my experience with it, the only issue I’ve ever had was accidentally chomping on my tongue ring while I was eating! 😬
The first solution was to use a much shorter barbell. 1/2 inch length is great for me. I didn’t use the acrylic barbells that these tongue rings came with, only the half balls on the ends. The barbells are pretty flimsy and are not rounded evenly. Stainless steel barbells are cheap enough to use instead, and much safer in a tongue piercing than a flimsy acrylic barbell!
Acrylic balls on the other hand, are wonderful! I was able to screw these half balls onto my 14 G, 1/2 inch stainless steel barbell, and they are extremely comfortable and low profile. I have been so pleased with these that I just had to recommend them!

I’ve had my tongue ring for about 2 years. It started to get irritated with the round tops of the piercings. I tried a few other flat tops but they were to heavy. This is perfect.

Firstly, it arrived after 2 and half weeks getting told delayed. Finally got my package last night and the package looked like it had been ran over and through a fire. Opened it up and the package the rings were in looked damaged as well. Only 2 of the rings would screw on and the others broke. Very disappointing.

The bar is on the smaller end so halfway through the day it needs changed. Haven’t had any issues with them breaking, yet. I did recieve one where the end is broken off. So I can only use 4 of the 5 recieved. But you get what you pay for.

These are so comfortable! Regular balls irritate the roof of my mouth and I often bite down on them when I’m eating. The smaller sized half ball doesn’t irritate my mouth and I usually forget it’s there. I’ve had my tongue pierced for 17 years and my dentist warned me about chipped teeth and worn enamel with stainless rings. I’ve worn acrylic ever since and I’ve never had an issue with my teeth. I also find the plastic barbell more comfortable than the metal ones due to it not changing temperature when eating/drinking cold things. Plenty in the package if you break one.

This was basically what I was looking for, flexible, clear retainers. First of all, they work fine for me, but if your tongue is thick you should forget it, they will not fit or will be very uncomfortable. Secondly, the first clear one I swallow while eating, I’m assuming it broke into and that’s why I didn’t notice it until after it happened. The next two clear ones I attempted to put in broke before I could even clean them and place them in. Complete trash, I would give them negative stars if I could!
