However, I do have concerns about the choice of magnesium citrate as the primary form of magnesium used. Magnesium citrate is commonly associated with laxative effects and is often used for constipation relief. For a hydration product that might be consumed more than once daily—particularly by individuals engaging in physical activity—this could present an unwanted side effect.
Given that there are other, more suitable forms of magnesium available for routine supplementation, the formulation choice is disappointing and reduces my confidence in the product’s suitability for frequent use. While the flavor is pleasant and the product appears thoughtfully marketed, the magnesium form alone warrants a more cautious recommendation.

4 stars because the light flavor. I love everything behind this, it’s clean, gives the electrolytes, vitamins etc that I want the kids to have but our issue is they want something with flavor. The flavor is so light on this that they won’t drink it at all. If you’re kids are good with a tint of flavor – get them. The package comes with so many for the price range and they’re super easy to throw a few in the car, a few in your purse, etc. These would be great for traveling !
