These came in feeling kinda grimey and almost oily. The carving is a sloppy job and the gold pigment is really messy on some of them and does not seem to be sealed well. A couple of the symbols seem misshapen or oriented in a sideways position instead of straight up and down. I am considering doing a return but will try washing them and rubbing off the excess gold smear to see where that leaves me. Overall, probably the condition to be expected considering the low price point

The stones are of inconsistent. The engravings look rushed. There are several that are over cut. Not much care was placed in there creation. Several are not even the correct orientation. These stones should have bee created with care, investing positive energy, passing on good karma. Now it will take alot to overcome the carelessness of the maker.

These are so pretty. I wanted opalite because of what it represents. I love how nicely made they are. They’re small which is perfect for me. (But if you’re looking for larger stones look elsewhere).

I purchased two of the opalite rune sets as Christmas gifts and knew the intended recipients would love them. I did not open the boxes they arrived in; I wish I had! Both sets were incomplete: One was entirely missing two of the 24 runes, the other had only one missing, but had a second copy of one of the stones. They are very small and the engraving is haphazard and unclear on the more detailed figures. The pendulum that came with this particular set was decent. Both parties that received them were gracious, but I was embarrassed and angry to have wasted my money and time. I deliberated about returning them, but I feel like the hassle and inconvenience just isn’t worth my trouble. Even if the sets would have been complete, the quality was terrible and they weren’t going to be able to be used effectively due to size, fragility, and illegible characters. Clearly, the company has serious quality control problems as evidenced by 2 out of 2 sets being incomplete! They offer slightly larger stones in other set configurations but I certainly wouldn’t anticipate a better product! If you are looking for a rune set to actually use, steer clear!

The runestones are lovely, the gold bag is a great touch, I have done readings with them and some spells. They’re great. The pendulum fell out of my pocket and hit the ground and just totally shattered. I hadn’t even used it yet and was going to put it on my altar. However the stones themselves are nice enough to satisfy me so I’m fine with it. Just be careful with the pendulum!
