I’m a complete coffee snob and had got used to only the best after living in Guatemala for 2 years. Now back in the UK, I needed something strong and tasty to satisfy my caffeine fix. Deathwish is a great tasting coffee; really dark and strong! For best results, grind the coffee fresh and use an aeropress to give you the world’s strongest espresso. This is my favorite coffee it’s absolutely delicious. It’s full-bodied and strong without being bitter which is very hard to achieve in a home brewed coffee. It is not an espresso coffee but it is reminiscent of espresso. It is a regular drip coffee grind.

OK, to right a review about coffee….how good does it need to be? Well, here we are. It’s amazing! Some background. I’ve always been a Keurig fan, used them for many years. Tried to go fancy with the Nespresso and just could not get past how they seem over roasted. So for Christmas a gift was a machine that could brew all the pods and included a pod to brew ground coffee. Now we get to Death Wish Coffee. I’ve been trough dozens of brands, grinds, etc. This one nails it. Not soft but not Sumatra over the top. Just dead on. Compared to others with vanilla, this is so much better with the vanilla. Others taste weak compared to this blend. I cannot believe how quickly this took over. I tried a Keurig here and there and slowly they all now taste like water so done there. This is our 3rd bag and the cost savings is huge. Keurig started putting 10 in a box vs 12 to hide the price. This is by weight and I get close to 40 cups from a bag so my cost saving has been huge. Here’s the summary. First thing I look forward to every morning. Perfect match of vanilla, caffeine and flavor. Love the wire tab bag too, seals tight, holds up well after so many scoops. I like it so much I’d suggest if you have a Keurig, try these with a filter drip for a week and you’ll sell it.

I really enjoy the flavor of Death Wish Medium Roast. It is bold, smooth, and has a great balance for a high-caffeine coffee. However, the company’s claim that this is the strongest coffee in the world feels a bit exaggerated. Personally, I have tried other coffees that are stronger than this one.
That being said, this coffee still packs a serious punch. A 12-ounce cup contains around 728 milligrams of caffeine. According to the Food and Drug Administration, the recommended daily limit for an adult is about 400 milligrams, so this is still much higher than most mainstream brands.
To give you a better comparison, Death Wish Coffee contains roughly two and a half to three times the caffeine of a standard Starbucks coffee. It is definitely strong. One word of caution though. If you have heart problems or are sensitive to caffeine, you should be careful with this coffee. Not that you would actually do it, but if you drank around 16.9 cups of Death Wish Coffee in one day, you would be taking a permanent coffee break.
Overall, this is a great coffee for people who enjoy a strong brew with good flavor. Just be mindful of the caffeine content and know your limits.

Let me start with I am a black coffee drinker that’s not a brag just a fact I don’t do cream or sugar or any other additional items. I have been drinking coffee for 45 years starting with sips of my grandparents Sanka and my old mans Folgers. I hoarded instant packets from MREs in the Marine Corps and even had gas stations cups from almost every state in the continental US. Was on a mad search in Europe for what they called an Americano in between espressos and every other drink to be had.
Very few cups of coffee impressed me, I also never turn down a cup no matter the source. This was remarkable, the scent obvious but not obnoxious reminiscent of a Jiffy Blueberry muffin mix but less sweet. I just cold brewed a gallon of basic arabica for the week I add two Tblsp of Vanilla and a 1/2 tsp of salt to the batch to cut acidity even more and add a richer fragrance. No one can taste the vanilla but lots of friends think it’s something extra expensive (I use Kirkland Arabica cheap beans.), this is my go to morning and all day drink. This Blueberry Coffee makes me question my every method and appreciate the way they managed to make a rich strong black coffee with a subtle finish or blueberry muffin aftertaste. It literally tastes like I washed a bite of muffin down with an amazing cup of coffee. As I had just finished a batch of home brew, I just made a 16oz pour over to sample the Death Wish and was blown away by the aroma at first and then how the flavor is so much more subtle and full of true coffee toasty smokey woodsy tones. I cannot recommend this enough to anyone that appreciates a strong cup of coffee but also isn’t averse to a treat of subtle dessert like flavor.
This has me thinking I’ll chug my gallon (super concentrated cold brew)deal with the week of productivity as I crush life in general and start my next batch with this Blueberry Brew.
This would be the best gift for a coffee lover and completely different from any of the 1000s of variety I have seen elsewhere, and a certain winner in your cabinet to start your day or extend it and reward yourself.
This is one of the top 3 cups of coffee I have ever had in almost 50 years!

Decently strong but I am really struggling with the taste when used with my French press. I like black coffee but this is not enjoyable nor is it with steamed whole milk (no sugar) and steamed whole milk (brown sugar).

Ich hatte nicht beachtet dass der Kaffee gemahlen ist. Daher habe ich Rücksendung beantragt. Habe sofort Erstattung bekommen und musste das gar nicht zurück schicken.
Habe es dann mit einer French Press doch probiert. Schmeckt prima, nicht bitter. Verwende es nicht weil ich vollautomat benutze. Finde schon jemanden den ich es schenken kann denn gerade für gemahlenen ist der Kaffee echt top

This coffee is awesome 🤩. Makes the best cup of coffee. First tried DWC at Costco during a road show….so glad we can buy it from Amazon. Costco missed out on a great product!
