I really can’t understand the reviews that comment on “a burnt taste”. Yes..there is a slight burnt taste but it doesn’t exactly jump out at you, it adds to the depth and flavour or the coffee and is quite clearly present, due to the “ROASTING” process.
My guess is that these reviewers have been drinking instant coffee from a jar most of their lives and would probably complain that BBQ food has a burnt aftertaste too..lol.

Death Wish coffee never disappoints. I have been drinking it for 4-5 years now. Always fresh- Always tasty. I usually buy the whole bean version if it’s available. I like to grind my coffee very fine. They also make fabulous flavored coffees as well. If you like Real coffee Death Wish is a must try. I am confident that you will not be disappointed. I also make my own blend using the different versions of coffee they offer. The company is amazing- any time I have had to deal with them they show they really care about their customers. It’s so rare in today’s world to find a great product and a great company that care for their customers.

I have been getting Valhalla Java often as a treat as well as something fun to drink. Breaks up the routine of the usual coffee I get from the store. As much as I love this coffee (which I assure you it is a lot), it always bugs me how I can get a tin of something for half the cost, and just because there’s a name associated with this, that means the price goes up tremendously. Hey, this asked me for a review, so I am being honest with my own thoughts. The coffee is great, taste is awesome, price just sucks sometimes. Especially cost to amount. I understand how things work with the whole “Buying the name” sort of thing. But, I’d be more inclined to get this on a more frequent basis if the price dipped a bit.

Säure sucht man im Geschmack vergebens, hier hat die dunkle Röstung wohl alle Säure zerstört.
Von diesem Kaffee kann man durch seinen Koffeingehalt jedoch nicht zu viel am Tag trinken, außer man hat gern den Pulsschlag eines Kolibris oder will den Weltrekord im wachbleiben brechen. Da können sämtliche illegalen Mittelchen einpacken im Vergleich mit diesem Gebräu.

Durch einen Zufall sind ein Kumpel und ich auf den Kaffee des Gitarristen “Zack Wylde” gestoßen. Der Kaffee hat spürbar eine hohe Koffeinmenge, da er bis zur Schwärze geröstet ist. Dabei ist der Kaffee kaum bis garnicht bitter. Das ist der erste Kaffee, der mir wirklich geschmeckt hat. Wir kennen’s ja alle, “Kaffee-Laien” haben anfangs net so den Geschmack.
Ich habe ihn schon mehrfach bestellt und freue mich immer wieder wie ein kleines Kind auf die 2 Sticker – und natürlich auch den Kaffee. Ich bereite ihn, wenn’s schnell gehen soll in einer French Press oder wenn’s schön aromatisch sein soll im vietnamesischen Dropfilter.
Der Kaffee ist in Deutschland nicht erhältlich aber kann hier problemlos aus der UK nachbestellt werden. Ich werde ihn auf jeden noch öfters bestellen und mich am leckeren Boost in den Tag erfreuen können.
PS: Wenn man nicht viel Koffein verträgt, am besten nur eine Tasse am Tag trinken.
