Sherwood really has its act together on supplements and products. I switched from Oxbow digestive support because they were a waste of money. These products do exactly what they say they will do and they are healthier than Oxbow for your small exotic pet. They are 100% pure product and not the additives found an oxbow I have two 10-pound rabbits that shed like crazy and even worse in molting seasons. One of these every night in season or every other night has kept them from stasis.
I would recommend you read the directions carefully, and then make adjustments to dose based on what you know about your small Animal. Start with one tablet and work up. The package calls for one tablet a day for mild digestive issues and one tablet per pound of body weight every day for severe. Under no conditions would I give my Rabbit a high dose. Severe requires a vet so please don’t make the mistake of thinking this product will solve stasis. It won’t and you need a vet. But for preventative, it’s excellent. I have never given my rabbits more than one tab each, and I have not had a problem. This is the second year I’m using this product but the first year I’m buying it from Amazon. I’m getting legitimate products and not knock offs. I would recommend you by at least one package from Sherwood or a reputable pet food store like chewy before you buy them on Amazon. That way you’ll know the packaging and the product in case someone decides to create a knock off.

Love these for my bun! He hasn’t needed them but I have given a couple to him a couple different times. He eats them good even though they look like little tablets. He’s a picky guy too so they must be good!
It’s important to have things on hand like this and critical care cause rabbits cannot handle being sick.
It’s not cheap but worth the money for the good quality from a trusted brand.

I stand by anything Sherwood. I say to anyone, ‘Sherwood ain’t cheap’, however for my girls, only the best will do. The products I purchase are well worth the money. Sherwood offers the best quality products for my buns. I got these to aid in my babies’ digestion, JIC. Papaya enzymes are great for humans, so they must be great for bunnies! These little chewables are the perfect size for a bunny mouth, taste good (based on how my girls go nutz when I open the drawer), and they seem hoppier! The photo shows our Sherwood trifecta — digestive, urinary, and appetite restore. For any small fur baby parent, check out Sherwood. I am certain there is something your lil one will truly enjoy!

Saw improvement in digestion within 24 hours. One of my bunnies likes the taste and will eat it up, no problem. For the bunny who doesn’t care for the tase of the pill, I have mashed the pill up and made it into a paste and put it on a few greens or put it in a oral syringe.
The instructions says to avoid greens but MY bunny seemed to be okay with just a few stems of cilantro covered in the medication (it was really the only way bunny would take it). Its a good price will buy again.

We have been giving my stasis-prone bun two of these a day for several weeks with no GI stasis episodes so far — previously, it was happening every 1-2 months. We thought it was from too much fur ingestion. I’m posting this advice because reality it was that he was eating too many pellets and veggies.
If your rabbit is prone to stasis, I just wanted to share this info: CUT DOWN OR REMOVE GREENS FROM THE DIET ENTIRELY TO ENCOURAGE THE 80% HAY DIET!!! You can also reduce pellets and go for high fiber Timothy based pellets. Now that we’ve put him on a “diet” and he’s eating more hay, he’s been healthier than ever.
Also, I recommend going to SmallPetSelect online store. They recommend 1st or 2nd cut timothy hay for more fiber. We got the 2nd cut timothy hay from SPS, and the buns love that. It’s the right balance between being tasty and stemmy/fibrous. We also mix in different types of hay (like oat and orchard) to keep the buns interested in eating hay and that has been very effective!!!!
ALSO, CHECK OUT THEIR “Premium ultra-soft” timothy hay which is a 3rd cutting highly nutritious (and high in fat, beware) hay that is SUPER delicious. The buns are obsessed with it and we give as a treat hay.
Tl;dr I would recommend getting 2nd cut timothy as your main hay — oat and orchard to mix to encourage hay eating, and THIS premium hay as a treat hay or the only hay, as a last resort if it’s all your bun will eat. BUT THEY TRULY MUST BE EATING 70-80% HAY TO NOT GO INTO STASIS IF THEY ARE PRONE!!!! Good luck <3

I saw a review on here how someone’s older bunny was taking this daily to help with stasis which is why I bought it because bunny kept getting it and my vet was kind writing him off back in 2023 cuz they tried everything (except for surgery). My 6lbs bunny wouldnt eat let alone this tablet.
So i had the idea to take 2 or 3 tablets and put it in a motar and pound it into power. Put it in a bowl with a little bit of water and syringe feed him. Less than 24hrs he gave a big poop and pee finally afte4 very little poop and pee all week. I then gave it to him as a vitamin everyday and never got it again (he gotten it like 3 times in 2023 prior to this).
He got stasis for the first time this week and did the same process with 2 tablets. The poop all came put within 4 hours!

Amazon won’t let up on a review for this. It is a daily supplement for my pet rabbit that brings me peace of mind and he enjoys/looks forward to everyday. Shipping was great and delivery driver dropped at the door on a high wind day.

So happy we found these for our bunny! He loves them and it has helped his digestive problems.A great value compared to other alternatives.

It took a few tries to get my bunnies interested in these – prior they were eating the Oxbow digestive treats. I feel better about these. They both know the word “vitamin” and they get excited to eat one every morning.

I’m a first time rabbit owner, had my little Gambit for little over a year, and I tend to worry over his health. He never had any big health problems, but I read too many stories where a rabbit has a small health issue that quickly lead to its death to take chances.
Since digestive problems is pretty common in rabbits, I thought I could give him something to help his digestive system to prevent problems. Found this for and good price and thought I would give it a shot. When I first offered it to Gambit, he was a little hesitate to trying it (which is common for him trying any new foods). When he did, he loved it.
So I began giving him these once a day to him as a treat. So far he hasn’t had any digestive trouble. It could be thanks to this item, my paranoid rabbit mama nature, or a mix of both.

I’ve been feeding this to my bunny for well over a year now. When I first started using these I had two bunnies. Neither one of them liked it at first. It does have a strong aroma and they were quite dubious. Once they tried it though they quickly learned to love it! I’m down to one bunny now and the thing I’ve noticed with him is that he doesn’t shed as much as he used to since starting on these. I use a pill cutter to chop in half and he gets one half after breakfast and the other half after dinner. I ask if he wants his “mint” and he comes running! The price does seem a little expensive at first, but at one per day a bag will last over 3 months for one bunny. It seems to be a quality product from a quality company.

This product has saved my bunnies lives more than once. When they show symptoms of GI Stasis I immediately give them this product. I also break one tablet into quarters and give a 1/4 of a tablet as a treat through out the day to keep GI Stasis at bay. This product is worth the money! No veterinarian is able to save your bunny if GI Stasis is not caught quickly. Know the signs to detect early and give them this product.

Sherwood is the best. This and their food pellets are daily musts. My only small complaint, these pills tend to have a higher amount of broken pills when ordered on Amazon, though they may get delivered sooner. Maybe like 10-12 in the pack are broken from Amazon, vs 3-4 when I order direct from Sherwood’s site. They usually are not smashed to tiny little pieces, but I have to piece together 3-6 fragments to make a full pill.

Sherwood products are the best for bunnies — no low-quality ingredients and lots of education for bunny owners on their website. These little tablets (look like a slightly oversized aspirin tablet) have been very helpful during periods of stasis for my #2 megacolon rabbits as well as my rex with an unknown viral infection who stopped eating resulting in stasis. I crush them and add into the syringe-assist food (Sherwood also has the best quality assist food and best price). They are very easy to crush with the back of a spoon or bottom of a glass. While the package indicates these can be fed directly to bunnies as treats and that, perhaps with some persistence, they will love them, I have not found that to be the case. Your bunny may differ, however. I do appreciate Sherwood’s variety of high-quality products to assist our bunnies with their gut health, especially during those stressful periods of stasis. I haven’t found any other manufacturer with such a comprehensive variety of nutritional support. Thank you, Sherwood. My little bunny is now eating after a month of stasis.

This Papaya and banana enzyme digestive support is awesome! I’ve had to use it more than once when my bunnies go into stasis. Stasis is when they stop eating and pooping. It’s very serious and no time to waste. I keep it on hand at all times. For a full grown Tamuk bun I will give her about 5-6 smallest of syringes of unflavored baby mylicon drops first at least 3x’s a day. Don’t worry it’s not absorbed into their system. It’s lubricating their digestive tract to get the blockage moving. You can give them more if needed. Then 2X’s a day I crush the Papaya tablets with a small pestal and mortar and add enough water to make a very thin paste. If it’s too thick it won’t go in the syringe. (You can get plastic syringes (no needle) at a Walmart pharmacy for free.) Just let them know it’s for your sick bun. Just give it in small increments and make sure they are swallowing it each time. My buns really like the flavor and will lick their lips each time. At the end I put a little extra water to get all of it from the bowl. Then I put them in their exercise pen for a little while so they hopefully move around a bit. Make sure they have plenty of accessible water and hay so they can start to eat and drink when they want to. I keep up this routine until they are pooping and eating good again. Be very gentle as stasis is very painful even if they don’t show it. The instructions on the back of the bag are good to read. It’s easier to manage with 2 people. I also put the bun on a table top. It’s easier to administer that way. I have a vinyl mat on my washer machine and it’s taller than a regular table top. Which is easier. If they’ve never had a syringe feeding before you just have to slide the syringe in the side past the teeth and angled to the back of their throat. I will take my left hand and gently cover their eyes and to help hold their head steady ever so gently just when giving it to them. Let the other person pet them and talk sweet to them making sure that they don’t jump away. Once they are pooping again and eating it’s a good idea to get some bena bac from Amazon and follow the directions on the tube. The probiotics will help get their digestive tract back on track. I hope this helps someone else to save their bunny.
