Melatonin is a good natural supplement to help dogs relax and sleep. It’s most effective when given 30 mins or so before bedtime. This particular product has an odd smell and my dog doesn’t seem to like the taste. It’s still better than trying to get him to chew up a tablet, though. The included dropper makes it easy to get the medicine delivered to the back of his throat so that there is less waste. It’s also much faster than fighting with him over the chewable version. Once I give it to him, he mellows right out and lays down. No more barking or fretting.. just a relaxed pooch. This is definitely a great value considering the peace it brings to my household.

Melatonin portion worked very well for my older dog at night. But the calming portion didn’t work at all for my over anxious younger dog. May work better for some, but didn’t calm down my anxious put during thunderstorm.

Warning! Make sure you read all the reviews, not just the 1st 15. They put all the positive reviews at the top. I received this product after reading positive reviews. The eye dropper for the liquid doesn’t work, at all! The bulb isn’t able to pull a single drop of the liquid into the dropper. The dropper barely fits the bottle! It’s as if it the wrong dropper! I scrolled down through lots of reviews and found at least 4 complaining about the same trouble with the bulb syringe dropper. I’m so disappointed in myself for not spending 30 mins to read ALL the reviews and I’m disappointed in Amazon for burying the negative comments. What a joke.

I was looking for something to help my dog during thunderstorms and fireworks, and these calming drops worked surprisingly well. I just add the drops to her food and within about 20–30 minutes she seems much calmer and less anxious.
I like that the ingredients are natural and it includes melatonin for extra relaxation. She doesn’t seem drowsy the next day, which was my main concern.
The dropper makes it easy to measure the right amount, and the bottle lasts a long time. I’m happy with this purchase and will keep using it when she needs some extra help staying calm.

The product works, but the dropper/dispenser is awful. It is far too large for this small bottle, making dosage near impossible. Not to mention how much spilled. I will stick with a brand name from now on. I will not buy this on Amazon anymore.

The product arrived promptly. Our Akita is about 125 lbs. The dosage I used was for a 110 lb dog. That was the highest. I prefer liquid over treats because he won’t eat when there’s thunder and lightning or even a little rain. It arrived just in time for a big storm that same night. After his first dose, I watched for the first hour and noticed he was more inclined to obey the sit and lay down command. With as much lightening as there was it was amazing he stayed put and didn’t pace though he was still panting very heavily. It took more than an hour for him to stop trembling. It was a really bad storm that lasted for 2-1/2 to 3 hours with a crap ton of lightning and thunder with intermittent heavy rain. I got him to lay down near a recliner where I could raise the leg portion, swivel foot rest over his head and draped a moving blanket over him so he had minimal exposure to the bright flashes and the blanket muffles the sound a bit. I also used some lavender and frankincense oil and setup a small fan for white noise and airflow while he was under this makeshift den. I’ve set things up like this before but he would still get up and pace. This time, he more readily stayed put and it was the worst storm we’ve had in a while. I’m going to say that the nighttime product with 1ml dose was effective because he stayed put. I also like the ingredients because they are all known to me as calming and sleep aids. I’ve tried CBD and it didn’t seem to be as effective for our big fur baby. This product is also more cost effective. I’ll keep using it. I don’t think it was any one thing that I did to reduce his stress but my observation is that this product made a difference. After a while, about 2 hours, his head was on the floor and he was very calm.

1000% Recommend. I have 2 dogs, a Yorkie thats old and keeps getting her time of the day confused and a Chihuahua thats scared of her own shadow and will bark at everything. The vet for the Yorkie recommended giving her melatonin at night since she sleeps with me and this works great, we haven’t had any issues of her being awake and confused at night. We give the Chihuahua the calming one before we leave for work in the morning and it has reduced her anxiety so much. Instead of barking at every little sounds even though we leave music on, she now relaxes while we are gone. If you have little dogs they will last forever as we only give them 1 drop due to them being only 7lbs.

It’s perfect, my lab/ Aussie baby is 1 year and 4 months old he’s a big boy and full of energy and also very anxious. We tried the night drops first and it worked it doesn’t knock him out and put him to space but it calms him down, instead of getting up and moving back and forth all night he picked one spot and was out. Tried the morning drops today and he usually keeps going back and forth in the car and always jumping on you when he feels bored, after the drops he stayed in one spot the whole ride, wasn’t as jumpy and still energized like the puppy he is! It may have upset his tummy but I think all new things do when there first introduced. Definitely recommend!

Honestly this saved my life and my sleep. I just got a puppy that hates being in his crate and will scream and bark all night. I gave him this yesterday night and he was chill in his cage all night I haven’t heard a single peep I even was cooking and moving around making noises and he was calm and didn’t even whine.
