The crystal cube is gorgeous but the base is problematic. It doesn’t work on batteries – only usb – and the on/off button is flaky. It doesn’t respond well to the touch control and it does so need the lighting from the base to bring out the etching inside the crystal. I don’t know yet if I will have to send it back and it was a gift so I will wait to see how it is being used and/or how long the base lasts. If it is going to fail, I would hope it fails before the return date is expired.

I really like this 3D laser engraved hummingbird. It’s just beautiful and will make an awesome Christmas gift for my friend who loves hummingbirds as much as I do. I like that, along with running on 3 AAA batteries, you can also charge it via USB too in case you don’t have batteries. The engraving is beautiful, the light really sets it off and makes it pop. The crystal is very heavy too. It’s definitely quality materials. I would definitely recommend this. The LED base has 12 different colors, plus a few more modes – blinking, fade, color-change etc… Just a very nice gift. A+++ plus it comes in a nice decorative and sturdy box too!
