if you are getting this one for free you are getting exactly what you are paying for!!! Actually if you got it for free you still payed to much! As someone that first started using Essential Oils in magick in the late 80’s i can tell you that just about all the info in it has been taking from other peoples work and even then just the bare minimum at that. if you really want to know about essential Oils and magick (yes the type of magick this book thinks it is talking about is spelled with a K the author does not even know that much) i would look at Scott Cunningham first. not this one.

A lot more descriptions could be made about the qualities of the oils, how readers should choose the oils (place of origin, expiry date, etc) and the blending of the oils. This book is not detailed enough for readers who really wish to test out ritualistic blending and using of oils.
Also, the section on voodoo use of oils was over simplistic. The author only listed the names of the oils and their common uses, but did not give any detail as to the formula of the oils: a big oversight. I am giving it 3 stars mostly on the merits of the author’s intention in providing a beginner’s guide. A lot more work and research need to be done and added.

This was a wonderful lil book on how and what kind of essential oils to use in any kind of workings you might have. It explains about mixing and even gives some great recipes at the end. This is a great beginners book and general knowledge book for all who use oil for their craft. Blessings

If you get this book on kindle it might be worth the 2.99 but i paid 7.99 for the flimsy book and i def OVER paid. It does not have a lot of useful information in it and for 7.99 i could have put that toward a way better book. So kindle is the way to go with this one for sure.
