As someone who has bred Boston Terriers for the last several years I can attest to these being everything you will need by way of motivator for your Boston. They will do practically ANYTHING they are able to figure out how to do just to keep these things coming. My only difficulty with them is easy to fix and that is that the portions are large for older dogs who may be missing some teeth. I break them in half and that problem is solved.
I will also state here that Amazon is NOT my preferred method of getting these, since they carry them at the local discount store at approximately half of what I paid here for them and in a MUCH larger sack, essential when you have more than four dogs.
But it was essential to have them during the virus, and Amazon brought them and for that I am grateful. Also, the product really IS spectacular, even if you DO pay these prices because the quality is so high. Just make sure it is for the SALMON flavor, or your dogs might turn up their noses like mine. I have three untouched bags of other EVOLVE products that they don’t care for, THESE they do. In fact I am pretty sure they would just off me for a sack of them, they really ARE the most motivating snack/treat I have ever found except the original I used to get at Costco until they quit making them due to costs.

My dogs love these treats! They are very easy to break apart, and soft enough that my 3 lb dog can chew them, and my 100lb dog doesn’t just swallow them whole. SO many treats come in this bag, I will continue to buy these over and over! Great value for the price!

I buy only grain free dog treats for my two Tibetan Terriers, and they seem to like Evolve brand the best (apart from 100% jerky, which is too expensive). They have allergies, so I get them only salmon treats, and they like the round dry biscuits, but these Salmon-Sweet potato jerky pieces really make them snap to attention. In training Lucky and Ben, we have “treats,” a code word they understand. But we also have “sausages,” which they understand as super-duper treats. I use the word “sausages” when I need them to come to me right away, and I always give them something that is top of the line, to ensure that they will never dawdle. (It’s useful if one of them gets out of the fence, for example, and want to get into the street). The Evolve salmon and sweet potato jerky bites qualify to be on the “sausages” list. Ben and Lucky really love them. The bag that they come in is also a nice, sturdy bag that stands upright and is resealable. Some dog treats come in “resealable” bags that are so badly made that they cannot seal up again after one or two uses. But the Evolve bags are really good. I’ve been buying them for about 10 months now, either through Harris Teeter or online, and they are always fresh, uniform, with a nice smell.

I’m really surprised that Amazon would send merchandise like this. All the treats were broken into pieces—I had to put them in dog bowls for them. What gives? This is not like the superior quality that I have come to expect from Amazon!
