These are definitely handmade with many different color squares (I bought the blue, which has a blue yarn-like thread that goes around each square). I’m 5’8″ and this skirt comes to about the top of my feet. I’m about 148 pounds (10 stone 8 pounds or 67.13 kg) and the medium fits great. I like that I can wear many colors with this skirt; it’s a lovely boho type skirt.

This skirt is exactly as pictured but even more beautiful! The fabric is soft and thick enough to not be see-through. Best of all, it fits! Usually waists are too tight and skirts are too long but this one is exactly right. I’m 5’2″ so if you’re tall you might not be as happy with it, though! But I’m thrilled! Color is vibrant and no chemical odor like many fabrics have.

I was sent the wrong color. I ordered beige and received yellow. The skirt is a nice weight. Heavy enough to not be see through and light enough to still be breathable. Unfortunately lots of loose strings makes me wonder how well it will hold up. If you don’t mind some minor imperfections and looking for that boho feel this may be the skirt for you. Im not going to comment on sizing since the skirt is the wrong color and not a color Icould see myself wearing I won’t be keeping it.
Also. I noticed on the listing for beige that if you scroll through those pics it does show two different skirts for that color choice. Strangely the one i received does not match either photo or any of the other color options available.

I returned this item. I expected it to be dusty green and there may have been a few pieces of patchwork dusty green on the skirt, it was contained bright pink and bright turquoise blue and other colors and not much dusty green. I thought it would be all dusty green as pictured above and not include other colors. Also, the sewing on it was mediocre and the fit was a but snug for me. In addition, there was an odor to the garment.

I really wanted to love this skirt but the colors were not very similar in tones or very pretty ( Cocoa Mocha)and there were lots of frayed stitches and poor workmanship compared to the photos displayed. I returned it for such a high price
Maybe I’ll try another color if it goes on sale or drops lower in price.

Worst material and stitch. When I washed it, it lost all its colors and material shrinked. The finish is not at all good and the picture is misleading. I use that now as cloth cleaner. Worst buy, I wasted my money on this and is expensive for this fabric. Not at all worth.

The shipping was super fast, coming all the way from India. The skirt itself is pretty decent quality. Each linen scrap is pretty heavy and seems to be put together well. However, the skirt that came is absolutely not the color scheme shown in the picture. The skirt was supposed to be solid black pattern on an army / olive background. I got a skirt that is predominantly black with mostly sage /army green patterns and some burgundy and other complimentary colors thrown in. I actually like this color scheme BETTER so I’m going to keep it. I’m sure the clothing company works with whatever scrap they have available and honestly it kind of makes the skirt feel a bit more one of a kind.

I love this skirt. It is real patchwork and flows beautifully. Skirts in this style are usually one size and a bit on the long side. I am short and petite so I have to flip it over at the waist so it does not drag on floor, which is fine for me as I cover the top with my shirt. It is a beautiful design, although mine has more red than brown. I think mine is actually prettier than the picture, but be warned that these are unique items and the picture may not be exactly what you get. I’m very happy with the purchase.

I got the “beige” and I LOVE IT! You need to keep an open mind with this one, but if you like unique and you appreciate the real patchwork design, you’ll probably love it too.
This is not sheer at all but there is no lining. To be safe, I’ll wear a slip, even though you could probably get away without one. The waist is elastic so that will stretch. The rest of it is not stretchy, but there is plenty of room. I could probably fit another person in my skirt. I’m 5’3 and weigh around 128 pounds. My hips are 40-1/2 inches, waist 30 inches.
Each skirt is a little different, so yours is not going to look exactly like the photos, but it will look “similar” with the “same color scheme.” I think this is really cool!! The patchwork design is 100% real, not a ridiculous looking print.
All that being said, you need to accept some things. There is one size. Therefore, I took a photo to show the size of the waist on the one I received. The waist is elastic so it’s going to stretch a lot, but it’s still nice to have a guideline. I have a 30 inch waist and it fits very snug at the waist, not to the point where it’s uncomfortable, but if my waist was just a little bit larger I think it could be a slightly painful. The hem is a little wonky. Actually, it’s not even and it’s actually unraveling in one spot, so I’m going to have to redo the hem myself so it hangs properly. The stitching on the patchwork looks like it may have been done with embroidery floss…it looks really neat to me, but it’s sort of erratic.
There is no washing/care label on the skirt. Because of the somewhat loose looking stitches on the patchwork, I washed it on the delicate cycle in the machine, and it came out OK, but I will hand wash it moving forward to be safe. Now I’m gonna order another one 🙂
