I’ve been using this fish oil for my dog for a couple of weeks now, and I’ve already noticed a positive difference in his coat—it’s much shinier and softer. He also seems to be itching and scratching less, which is a big win since he has seasonal allergies.
The pump dispenser makes it easy to add to his food without any mess, and he doesn’t seem to mind the taste at all—actually gets excited at mealtime now! The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that the pump can get a little leaky if not stored upright, and there’s a faint fishy smell if you’re sensitive to that kind of thing.
Overall, it’s a great product and definitely worth trying if your pup needs some extra skin and coat support. I’ll definitely be reordering!

I purchased this product to see if it will eliminate dry itchy skin on my GSD. Have only used it for 3 weeks and it supposed to take a month for it to start working. My GSD still gets itchy and scratches albeit it a bit less, so not sure if it works in that regard. If he’s still scratching after 2 months I’ll post an update. Having said that, I have noticed a difference in his coat, noticeably shinier and smooth to the touch.

Very good and easy product to keep your animals healthy! It comes in a large quantity so it lasts our house a while and our animals love it. Instead of using 15 different vitamins and supplements you can use a pump of this one product to cover all your bases.

Both dogs like it. I have noticed a small difference in coat. One of my dogs is allergic to everything! So was nice to find a supplement that doesn’t have flaxseed or flaxseed oil in it.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Our dog had been rehomed several times before we got him and he had major skin issues. He was given his flea medicine and even special ointment and pills from the vet and his itching and wounds had subsided but he was still itching more than normal. We were recommended to try giving zyrtec and while that worked for the first couple days it seemed to worse afterwards. After doing some research for some more natural alternatives we immediately got him started on fish oil and within the first day there was already soooo much improvement. Now 2 weeks in, I rarely see him scratch and you can’t even tell he had skin issues!!!! The product is AMAZING. The bottle does leak a little. Due to our configuration I had to find a smaller bottle I could refill so I could transport it to where I feed him. When I refill my small bottle it’ll leak around the top a little and get the bottle oily, but it’s not that bad. However, I don’t know how well the container would do with constant use. I do wish it had came with a smaller pump bottle that was refillable. So I need to look into getting one because our dropper we’ve been using doesn’t hold the oil in the dropper well it’ll spill when we go to put it on his food.

This is a reorder for me. Even though my dog has a naturally oil coat all the time he spends in the water does dry out his skin and coat. The fish oil cured his dry skin and his coat is soft and shiny.

My only complaint is the packaging and that is on Amazon. It came in a bag- this should definitely be boxed. The cap was off & broken and I thought the protective seal was compromised as there was a slight bit of oil on the mfg’s bag (I almost returned) but after close inspection it was ok & pump worked fine upon fitting.
No fish breath either! The dogs gobble up their food & bowls licked clean.

This fish oil has been an absolute game changer for my senior dog. He had started showing signs of sundowning and joint discomfort, and I honestly didn’t expect supplements to make much difference. But after adding this to his routine, not only has a lot of his pain eased up, his sundowning behavior has noticeably improved as well. It feels like we’ve been given back a more comfortable, calmer version of him, which has been such a gift during his golden years.
One of the unexpected benefits I noticed was with his shedding. His coat looks shinier, feels softer, and I’ve been sweeping up less fur around the house. That alone made me realize how much his overall health was improving. In terms of smell, I was pleasantly surprised — some fish oils can be really pungent, but this one is mild enough that he takes it without fuss, and I don’t get that lingering “fishy” odor in the kitchen.

Our lab has skin issues like hives from allergies, dry skin, and keratosis. We give him 3 pumps of this a day in his dry food and after a few months, his skin is looking great and the itchiness is gone! It is fish oil, so it does smell like fish but we don’t notice any odor on him or his breath.
We bath him twice a month with a medicated shampoo and use this supplement. Typically every spring he needs anti itch meds from the vet and am curious to see if he will this year!

This product is great in my opinion, it has a flavor my dogs love and it is helping with there coats! I know dogs can be finicky, so I bought a small bottler on the first time round. I ended up buying the larger one next because my dogs love it. I put 2squirts on morning meal and 3 at supper time their bigger meal. I have large dogs so be sure to go by the instructions! It has a smooth texture and a smell they like. The color is light and no problem them eating it! It has improved their skin. One of my big dogs is a pitty he can’t wait to get it!

All of a sudden this past summer, one of our German Shepherds starting losing hair, and her skin turned dark, dry, and flaky on her flanks, neck and tummy. All of the other dogs were fine, so we couldn’t really determine a cause of exposure to something. She didn’t seem to be eating as well either and we could tell she was stressed. After reading about various dog allergies, I decided to try this Fish Oil. Amazing product! Within just a couple of weeks her hair was growing back, her disposition changed, she devoured her dog bowl at feeding time (seems to love the smell), and her coat began to become full. She is as pretty as ever, happy, and as active as she ever was. Now, I use it for all of our pups. Each day, 5-6 pumps in each bowl. Of course, we also mix boiled chicken livers and raw eggs with their kibble, never have to clean a bowl when they are done eating! Have to give this product five stars.

I will leave a more results based review once our dogs have used this for a few weeks, but my initial impression is this is a great purchase for our pups. The price was good for the huge amount of product in the jug. Easy to dispense using the pumps and all of our dogs devoured their food with this on it. We have a couple picky eaters that usually require a bit of soft food added to their meals, but not today! One squirt added to their meal did the trick. I am sure this jug will last a long while. I adopted a rescued chihuahua-rat terrier mix in September and his skin and fur were in such terrible shape due to his poor nutrition and neglect. Dull, prickly and dry. It felt like I was petting a porcupine. I did some research and learned fish oils can really benefit dogs’ skin and fur and decided on this one as it had good reviews. Within 8 weeks his coat was silky, shiny and incredible soft. He’s also not shedding as much and isn’t scratching incessantly. I give it to both my dogs as it’s also good for heart and brain health plus they absolutely love the taste. I don’t need to mix it into their dry food as they will just lick it up as is. My dogs are small (under 15 lbs each) and for the 2 of them a full pump (4ml) once a day is what they get. That means the jug should last close to a year. Highly recommend.

Best value I can find so far, seems to really help with my pups coat and skin/itchiness. She LOVES the taste and licks her bowl clean every morning. Pump makes it very easy to get a consistent dose. So far this product is living up to what they claim. My rotti has been on it for a couple of weeks now and I do see a difference. I feed her acana wild coast which does gave fish in it anyways so this 100lbs dog I only give 1 pump to as its very high in fat. Schatzi literally licks the bowl clean after I apply this onto the kibble. This was a test for me so once we progress more in time I will know for certain if it makes a difference in over all health. I do store this in the fridge so it won’t become contaminated or go rancid.
UPDATE MARCH 5/2026 – This product is fantastic 😊. Schatzi coat is silky soft and I find that she is shedding way less. Only 1 pump a day as this is high fat and I don’t want excess weight. I highly recommend this top feed.
