| Directions | Keep refrigerated. This recipe is fully cooked ready to serve! Store in the refrigerator and use within 7 days of opening. No heating or defrosting required. Feeding Instructions: Depending on the age, activity level, and condition of your dog, the feeding guidelines will need to be adjusted. The normal daily feeding amount for a healthy adult dog: 4-10 lb. dog feed 1/2 – 1 cups per day 11-20 lb. dog feed 1 – 1 1/2 cups per day 21-35 lb. dog feed 1 1/2 – 2 1/4 cups per day. 36-50 lb. dog feed 2 1/4 – 3 cups per day 51-65 lb. dog feed 3 – 3 2/3 cups per day *Add 2/3 cup for each 25 lbs. beyond 65 lbs. Use standard 8 oz measuring cup. These quantities can be fed as one meal or divided into two meals based on your dog's preference. For pregnant females, gradually increase the food offered during the last four weeks of gestation up to 40% over the normal adult requirement. For lactating females, offer two to three times the normal adult requirement. For puppies, feed up to twice the normal adult requirement from four to fourteen months of age in two to three feedings. When switching foods, gradually increase the new food and decrease the previous food to help make a smooth transition. Visit your veterinarian regularly to maintain your pet's health. I have the world’s pickiest shih tzu mix who doesn’t like 99% of the food I put in front of her. I’ve tried every kind of wet/canned food there is (mostly higher end brands) and without fail she stares at it, then me, asking me if I actually expect her to eat this bowl of whatever I’ve placed before her. She may eat most of it maybe 2 out of 5 times I put it down (and I vary the flavor to avoid boredom) and the rest of the times she lies down and gives me a pitiful look because apparently she thinks I’m trying to starve her to death.
I actually thought I was buying dry food when I purchased this Freshpet Multi-Protein dog food, but I’m so glad my hurried and careless purchase turned out to be one of the best mistakes I’ve ever made. My dog LOVES this food! (It smells fantastic, btw.) She sees me take the bag out of the fridge and follows me around, licking her chops, until I put it down so she can wolf it down immediately. I had to put a slow feeder adapter in her bowl so she wouldn’t eat too fast and choke, but she still does because she can’t get this food in her belly fast enough.
This is a total home run, Freshpet! You’ve got a new customer for life!
I hope Amazon Fresh continues to sell this product as the fast delivery times get it here quickly and still cold.

This is the best fresh dog food I have been able to find so far. The quantity you get for the price is unbeatable. And it has 3-4 different proteins in each serving! My little Yorkie just loves it also!

So my dogs are spoiled but healthy. I have made food, and used Ollie food but it is very expensive. This was a lower cost than I could make it for and it has a lot more variety in proteins. At first, they sniffed it and walked on by. It is a bit on the dry side so I added some water and butter and made it a bit moister. They gobbled it up. Heating it in the microwave dries it out significantly. But the dogs do not like it from the fridge, they want it heated or room temp. This multi-protein is what they like. They are not happy with the chicken.
For me the food smells good and isn’t mush which I cannot say either about ollie food. I will be a repeat buyer.

I breed Yorkshire Terriers and Pomeranians and have quite a few of them. All of them, and I mean all of them, love this stuff. It must taste good! I use it as a supplement to their meals. I love that it comes in a large bag. Always fresh. You can see the vegetables, which they eat too. It’s soft enough for my 12-year old to eat with no issues. Wish it was a bit less expensive.

Our little dog is super picky and while we’ve tried about everything possible, this is the first food that she will eat every single bite of. I like that it smells like actual food and not something disgusting like most canned or wet dog foods do. For our larger dog, to keep it economical, we sprinkle a little on his regular dry kibble. The little dog only gets 1/2 cup a day so she just gets this.

Switching to Freshpet Multi-Protein Complete was the best decision for my dog’s mealtime. You can actually see the real ingredients—chunks of meat and veggies—and it smells like actual food, not processed kibble.
Why It’s Great:
Visible Quality: It’s kept in the fridge because it’s fresh, and the texture is much more appealing than dry food.
Easy Digestion: My dog has much more energy and a shinier coat since we started using this as a topper/main meal.
Picky Eater Approved: My pup usually snubs his bowl, but he dances the second I pull this out of the refrigerator.
Bottom Line: It’s a bit more of an investment than kibble, but seeing how much he enjoys it (and how healthy he looks) makes it 100% worth it.
