| Directions | Keep refrigerated. This recipe is fully cooked ready to serve! Simply cut along serving marks and dice, mash or mix. Store covered in the refrigerator and use within 7 days of opening. Avoid freezing for best results. No heating or defrosting required. Feeding Instructions: Depending on the age, activity level, and condition of your dog, the feeding guidelines will need to be adjusted. The normal daily feeding amount for a healthy adult dog: 5-10 lb. dog feed 1/4 – 3/8 lbs. per day. 11-20 lb. dog feed 3/8 – 1/2 lbs. per day. 21-40 lb. dog feed 1/2- 1 lbs. per day. 41-60 lb. dog feed 1 – 1 3/8 lbs. per day.61-100 lb. dog feed 1 3/8 – 2 lbs. per day. *Add 1/4 lb. for each 25 lbs. beyond 100 lbs. When switching foods, gradually increase the new food and decrease the previous food to help make a smooth transition. Visit your veterinarian regularly to maintain your pet’s health. My doggies love there, I have 4 and I dog-sit. it doesn’t irritate any of their tummies and they don’t trun their nose up at it (which sometimes happens with ‘healthy’ dogs foods I’ve tried). It’s also a reasonable price for the amount and quality. thx

My dog has diabetes and fresh pet steak and chicken has not only helped all my dogs stomach but also her blood sugars are so much lower than any other dry dog food, its cheaper and makes her insulin last twice as long. Also I feed as a topper to my German Shepard who’s allergic to everything and is sensitive to everything and it has not bothered him or our 3rd dog that has heart issues. Highly recommend for diabetic dogs though 👌 I also add plain yogurt to each meal and they don’t even mind eating it now with the new food 😉

Good value and ingredients. I was making food for my dog with cooked chicken, carrots, peas and rice then discovered the Freshpet which has the same ingredients and more. After doing the math, not only do I save time with the Freshpet food, it saves money too as the fresh food route was a bit more expensive. My pup loves it and I simply cut a portion from the roll then dice it into smaller bite sized. It as always been delivered fresh and smells like real food as opposed to being heavily processed.

Because it is a refrigerator item.
I chose regular delivery and it delivered same day in a refrigerator type safe bag and it was still cold when I took it out the bag I was shocked!! So excellent job !!! And I use this all the time it’s great the dogs love it and it’s healthy:)

My vet said that this is the best dog food for our Chiweenie. She said that his breed is prone to diabetes and heart problems. He’s already on an expensive medication for his heart murmur. He was eating Moist and Meaty but she said that it’s one of the worst dog food because it’s very high in sodium and high fructose corn syrup.

My dog is the most picky eater on the planet I’ve wasted so much money on different dry dog food he absolutely loves this seems like he’s healthier in end I’m paying about $8 more a month to change from dry nasty dog food. Totally worth it. Highly recommended

Good pet food, my elderly dog love the taste, and the fact that it is soft and easily chew especially when she doesn’t have much teeth left. It has all the nutrients and made from good ingredients. It has a smell and taste that my dog likes.

I literally have the pickiest dog in the world when it comes to his food. Not only that but the majority of food gives him diarrhea and he suffers from intermittent bouts of IBS. I switched over to fresh pet from a canned dog food due to the previously mentioned IBS. Since doing so, he no longer has diarrhea he eats all of his food and does so with gusto. It might be more expensive, but it’s worth it. The food is fresh, it’s well made, it’s improved his overall health he seems to like the way that it tastes and it’s easy to dispense. Smells pretty good to me too.
