Highly delicious treat for our boy. This chicken treat has turmeric in it and has made a high difference in our dogs life. He’s 9 yrs old and is feeling his age at the hips. My husband found this at our local market and brought it home. We tried it and saw a marked difference in Mac’s daily walks. He was running in the neighborhood, doing his meet and greet with people and puppies. From then on, we ordered on Amazon Subscription Service. We are so happy that we did. This product is human grade so I’ve tried it. Chewability is good, durability is excellent. Digests well. No tummy upset. Beautiful color due to the turmeric. Highly recommend this for your pups.

I’m serious. I said, let’s see how human-edible they are. First off, you crack open the bag… smells great. you check the ingredients while chomping on the little piece you just bit off and you find it’s just basic stuff you can read type ingredients. AND they’re not harmful (in moderation of course). not advocating feeding your dog on a lifetime supply of these BUT if you give a hoot about what your dog eats…. give them these treats for treats! please for the love of Dog… stop giving your fur babies wishbones, rawhide, corn ridden, main ingredient by-product, grain TRASH. people disgust me and I don’t mean that as a bash against the ill-informed, but it seriously disgusts me how willing people are to get a puppy and feel them a multicolored, trash bag of crap thats not anything they should feed their dog. If a grain primary food was what he should eat… and by-product should be their main ingredient in food…. why is a healthy wolf the pinnacle example of what your dog should look like and why are they not obese? because they aren’t dieting on TRASH. Wildlife with organs, a meal inside the squirrel’s stomach that contains light amounts of nuts and fruits, maybe some grain and fresh water from a spring IS ALL THEY NEED.

Been using this Brand for years for my dogs. They are all little Yorkies & Dachshunds. They love this as their morning treat and I cut them up like shoestring fries. ( I use the industrial scissors from the lumber store) Very easy to cut and feed. I find it is better for them to have them cut in strips. Consistent product and their ingredients have remained the same. As far as any ‘inoculated’ chickens being used, I haven’t called to find out. I like my products free of any drugs for myself and animals’ health.
So far this product has smelt the same and they all like the taste.
They are not soft and do not ‘break’ easily by your hand.
Full Moon has been around a while and I use a variety of their products.

My dogs absolutely love these! I do not feed them mainstream cookies like milk bones. This is a much healthier choice. These are quite expensive, but I cut each strip into three pieces with poultry shears to stretch them farther. My girls get very excited when I pull out the bag every morning. The bag keeps them fresh with the zip lock closure.

PROS! I have 2 Chinese Cresteds and they are known for loose teeth and other issues. I appreciate these treats as not only are they human grade and healthier but the breakability of these are very functional for my bread. My pets LOVE these Beef Jerky treats as they are easy to chew and swallow. My breed tends to have difficulty chewing and swallowing the VERY dry jerky. The CONS! I feel that a 11 Oz. bag is too expensive and a larger bag for near the same price would be ideal and would convince me to Select the Subscribe and Save option.

My mother’s dog is particular about her treats-many she doesn’t like. When I picked these up for her at the store, I did so bc they were made in the USA. I won’t buy any foreign or outsourced foodstuffs for our little angel. She loves them, and, when she sees the bag she drags it across the floor and tries to open it herself. The price here on Amazon is a little better than the supermarket, so, I chose auto ship for these.

The ingredient list is fantastic and they are made in the USA. But my dog will not chew on these. She carries them around the house and plays with them.. they go in the trash once they are hard and stale. She is a heavy chewer, I am puzzled but she will not chew on them.

Each piece is pretty moist/thick and size wise as long as your pointing finger, but way too much for a snack–he will eat the whole piece in one sitting. For him it’s half a meal. So I broke in pieces to give throughout the day. Only problem is once the package is opened the pieces get extremely hard and he just chews away as best he could to swallow. For the price and aroma it’s worth the money. Since these become too hard, decided to grind down in blender and add a pinch to his meals. If I had a pooch with a bigger jaw, these treats would be more sensible to give.

Sometimes these are hard to find at local stores, I purchase them from local grocery, big box stores as well as Amazon. My order history shows I have ordered these 49 times.
Over the past few months, I have been receiving bags that were not right. Sometimes, it was the texture, they were too hard/very sharp upon breaking them. But there was another problem, a white powder coating that was all over the treats. You could sometimes see it in the bag on the treats, but a bigger problem was that the white powder did not develop until after you take the treats out of the bag and give them to your dog.
My dogs don’t always consume their treats right away. I noticed a thick white powder appearing on some of their treats they did not eat (see photos). The single photos are from a bag purchased sometime in March or April, the group photo is of those same 2 treats along with a treat from a new bag I just received.
I purchased multiple bags that were no good over the past several months. After receiving another problem bag from Amazon, I called Full Moon about quality control issues. While the customer service rep I spoke with was very helpful, I was alarmed when she said they are aware of the problem with the white powder substance all over the treats, but that they do not know what it is; supposedly, they are working on it.
I went back through the 1 star Amazon reviews, which I don’t typically read for this because it is a product I have regularly bought for years. Go read them, you will see a series of them dated between December and April of this year complaining of the same problem! Far more disturbing is that there are complaints of this issue that date back to at least 2020! Once again, Full Moon told me they do not know what the white powder is when clearly this has been an ongoing problem going back at least several years. HEY FULL MOON, FIGURE IT OUT!!!! I am crying and shaking that I have fed this tainted product to my dogs. Amazon should stop selling this product immediately! Full Moon has NO RIGHT to continue selling tainted bags of this product while they don’t even know what the white substance is, or why it develops!!! I am sickened thinking about how many of these I may have thrown down for my dogs to eat. This is not a cheap dog treat, I buy them because I want to give my dogs something good, NOT to poison or harm them!!! THE ONLY PROPER THING TO DO WHEN YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A TAINTED PRODUCT IS TO PULL IT OFF THE SHELVES, NOT CONTINUE TO SELL THEM TO UNSUSPECTNG CONSUMERS!!!!! I grabbed the Full Moon Beef Jerky treats for my German Shepherd and they were an instant win. He is picky about treats, but the second I opened the bag he was glued to me. They smell like real beef (not that weird artificial treat smell), which I actually appreciate because it feels more legit.
I like that the ingredients are simple, grain free, and made in the USA. The pieces are a good size for a big dog, but I can also snap them into smaller bits if I am using them for training. They are chewy without being too tough, so he can work on them for a minute but it is not a full blown long chew.
No stomach issues for him either, which is a big deal with my shepherd. I will definitely buy these again.

To say my dog loves these is an understatement! I swear she can smell them as soon as the box is delivered.
I use them strictly for when I’m eating. She stares at me with puppy eyes, and wants my “people food”. I break the jerky into pieces, put on my plate and she thinks she’s getting some of my meal.
She’s a big girl, topping the scales at 130. She needs to lose 20 -30 pounds, so I like that each strip is very low calories.
She is also a counter surfer. I forgot to put away one open and two unopened packages in a place she couldn’t get to.
Well, when I came home, she had eaten all from the open bag, and tore open the other two. Ate every single piece.
She had bad gas for a few days, but otherwise fine.
I feel these are worth the money, as I don’t give the to her as a general treat.
In closing, these are her favorite treats. Watching a 130 pound dog jump off the ground when she hears me open the package is pretty amusing.
Buy them, you or your fur baby will not be disappointed.
