I think it’s pretty great. I had no trouble with potatoes and zucchini. The carrots worked but not as well because you need to use a wide vegetable to make it go across the whole blade. I didn’t have any trouble with it jamming up. It does leave a core about the size of a pencil, so the entire veggie doesn’t get used, but it’s easy enough to chop it that up.
Looking forward to trying onions and apples.

I’ve been meaning to buy a spiralizer for almost a year and finally got around to doing it since I’m home and cooking more than usual (because of COVID-19). Its small, easy to use, super easy to clean – run the top part under water and the base goes into the top rack. Note that it’s manual and not battery operated. It’s very effective for small quantities – for example 2-3 zucchinis, it might be a bit of an effort to spiralize say 10. It’s very nice to use – to liven up your salad for example . I wouldn’t recommend it for hard veggies like carrots – it takes quite a bit of effort and hand strength. Overall, worth the money, not sure about the durability though. I’ll keep this review updated if anything changes.

Davvero un buon prodotto. Prezzo contenuto, semplicissimo da usare e soprattutto fa ciò per cui viene venduto. A corredo dello spiralizzatore abbiamo anche uno spazzolino che serve a pulire lo strumento in maniera agevole e sicura. Nella confezione è presente anche un manualetto di istruzioni ma non credo siano necessarie vista la semplicità di funzionamento dell’oggetto: tre modalità di funzionamento di cui due sono relative all’impostazione del taglio/spiralizzazione e la terza “resetta” la posizione della lama. Cosa altro dire? Nulla se non che sono soddisfatto dell’acquisto.

This is a great little gadget that takes up no more space than a glass and it gets the job done in no time. I’ve only done zucchini so far on the spaghetti noodle setting and the whole process was quick and easy from start to clean up. I don’t plan on using this too often so this cheaper unit suits my needs. Good buy in my opinion especially if you don’t have a lot of excess kitchen space.

After cutting my finger from using a multi-purpose chopper/spiralizer with no hand protection, I gave this tool a go. Usually I am skeptical of buying a single-use gadget. As compared with other products, this is still pricey but not unreasonable as compared with its competitors. At first I was aiming for something more versatile, something that allows you to change the blades and use it for many things, but this simplifies my preparation since you don’t have to worry about switching them and potentially hurting yourself.
Overall, I am in love with this spiralizer as it is so easy to use and the curls are beautiful and uniform! As seen in the pictures (which used different blade lengths), I used it for yellow squash and zucchini and they turned out really well.
One tip for using it is that: instead of placing the vegetable in the middle, put it slightly towards the diameter of where the blades are. Also, note that this is a mini gadget, so it’s kind of small, but I don’t think it’s a problem as you can just empty it and transfer it to a plate like I did. For the yellow squash, the cup was already full after using half a squash. It doesn’t affect its functionality, and one way to think about it is that it does saves you storage space, which is probably something I would recommend for those who has a small kitchen.
One negative (negligible) thing I can think of that relates to storing it is that the suction cap does not secure properly with the cup. It would be great if it can be safely attached but since you put the blade upside down in the cup, it doesn’t really matter. But if there is a further upgrade to this product, I’d recommend considering this.
Overall, I highly recommend this product for anyone who likes to make food art!

The blades are super sharp so there’s no struggling with it, however the catch cup is small and I find it easier to just spiral into a bowl or frying pan. Due to the shape it is a little cumbersome (not ergonomic by any means), but once you get the hand of it it works out ok. Cleaning is a bit of a pain between the blades unless you have a thin straw brush. This is a compact little unit, so it is easy to store away in a kitchen drawer or cabinet. I use this a few times a week, and it is sturdy.

I love my new zoodle maker. It was easy to use and very easy to figure out the little buttons. You just click the button for the size noodle you want. I wanted the ones that look like spaghetti and they come out fantastic. I used it on yellow squash and zucchini to make a more colorful meal. This is so small and compact, perfect for me to to use sitting down watching a movie. It was really easy to clean by streaming under water. It is great, now I think I need a bigger one because I am hooked on these zoodles.

This unit came with several different cutting , and juicing heads. So far I’ve used only the zoodle head to make noodles of a zuchini squash. It worked pretty well. After cranking out two of them I had a large sack of noodles. The directions are printed in a pretty small font. I didn’t bother with them. It seemed intuitive. And worked pretty well. You spin the squash into the cutting head. It is pretty easy. But if I was to do more than say a two or three, then it gets a little tiresome. For me, it is good enough. Clean up was simple, I used a toothbrush to scrub out the cutting head where it trapped squash.

Ein tolles Teil. Super scharfe Messer, die hoffentlich auch so bleiben!! Für Zucchini ganz toll. Dafür hab ich ihn auch gekauft. Super Ergebnis!! Ja klar muss man ganz schön rum drehen, aber das ist ja auch sonnenklar, wenn kein Motor drin ist. Also für Karotten oder hartes Gemüse nicht so geeignet. Dafür muss man einen elektronischen kaufen.

Wir wollten endlich mal wieder Zoodles machen und nicht alle Streifen von Hand schneiden. Dafür haben wir einen Aufsatz (als Zubehör) für den Küchenhelfer eines namhaften Herstellers gekauft. Das Ergebnis war enttäuschend.
Dann bin ich auf diesen Spriralschneider gestoßen, der nicht nur viel preisgünstiger, sondern durch seine Einstellbarkeit auch deutlich vielseitiger einsetzbar ist. Gekauft und ausprobiert.
Der glatte Aufbau ist viel handlicher als der konische Aufbau des (zuvor gekauften) Aufsatzes. Die Gemüseverarbeitung wirkt auch weniger matschig. Zudem ist der übrigbleibenden Zylinder aus der Zucchinimitte viel kleiner und hat als Bonus eine leicht stabilisierende Funktion.
Allerding muss man bei der Handhabung und Reinigung natürlich gut aufpassen, weil die Klingen scharf sind und relativ frei liegen. Wären sie zudem für die Lagerung abdeckbar, damit man sich nicht versehentlich verletzt, wäre das noch viel besser. Der Deckel für den Auffangbehälter passt leider nicht auf den Aufsatz.
Auch sehr positiv finde ich den Auffangbehälter, wenn er auch nicht sonderlich stabil erscheint, sowie den Halter für die Reststücke.
Insgesamt war der Spiralschneider bislang ein sehr guter Kauf. Ich kann ihn sehr empfehlen.

It doesn’t spiralize thin vegetables in threads at all. It must be at least the size of a courgette to have decent threads. See pic with a carrot. Also, the fact that you have to turn the vegetable by hand is really dangerous, as I discovered slicing off a good portion of my finger on a blade, that has no guard whatsoever. And no, it wasn’t that the vegetable was at the end, it was that having to turn it manually, you may loose the grip and slice your finger. I hurt myself with the carrot in the pic, so you can see there’s still quite a lot of it left. I chose this over a more traditional (and professional) tool because it takes less space, and I made a big mistake.
