I have been having a harder and harder time finding bearitos taco seasoning in the stores. Even though it literally is the yummiest taco seasoning out there. I have been using it for decades and swear by it.
Every time I create a taco/burrito bar for friends or family I ALWAYS use bearitos taco seasoning on all meats and beans. Literally every time over years and years. Whomever I make the taco bar for asks me how did you season the meat and beans and tells me how delicious it is. I show them the packet. They are surprised it’s a packet and tell me it’s so flavorful and want to know where to buy it.
So you can’t go wrong with the seasoning. And in my local store not carrying it anymore I have tried all the others Trader Joe’s, simply organic, frontera, etc. ic ant even say I even like the flair of those and never get compliments nor inquiries on the seasoning when I use those.
Can’t speak highly enough of this Eason if and how delicious it is.
One last thing. Here is a tip:
It is so flavorful that you don’t have to use the whole pouch per 1lb meat. I usually use 1/3-1/2 a packet. I just fold down the end of the packet and store til next time. It keeps just fine. But of course it’s up to personal taste.

This seasoning has been my favorite taco seasoning for years. It’s not too salty and provides such a rich flavor to both chicken and beef! I like to throw my chicken in a crockpot with a 1 packet of this seasoning, an diced onion, some lime juice, chicken broth and and a small jar of green chiles and cook until pull apart tender. The meat tastes fantastic on tacos or in enchiladas. Beef is even easier – just one packet with some water. Delish!

I love these and they are hard to find in stores but they sold me a 12 pack box and they expire in 2 months which is ridiculous!

We were able to purchase this Taco Seasoning for many years, at Whole Foods, (even during the Pandemic), and then it disappeared completely!!! We even tried buying it at Walmart, where we have found other products which are no longer available at our local markets such as Ralphs, Vons, and Pavilions, but this package of GREAT STUFF was no longer available anywhere. So, when I found it on AMAZON, I was SO HAPPY! I use it on ground turkey when I make tacos, and the reason I love it is because it’s mild and delicious, and better than any other Taco Seasoning available, which DOESN’T HAVE cancer-causing chemicals listed in the ingredients!

UPDATED – I tried some Old El Paso seasoning and it was terrible by comparison. I decided that the cost of the Bearitos seasoning was worth the wasted packs so I bought another box. But this time there was no expiration date problem.
I received my order January 2 and the seasoning expires July 23 which is plenty of time for me to use 12 packs. I updated my review from 3 stars to 5 stars (it would have been 4 stars if the expiration date was only two months out as before because this stuff is really good at least as compared to Old El Paso).
This seasoning is great and is worth a try if you never had it before. It will be my staple from now on. I still would like to see individual packs (or 4 pack bundles) sold on Amazon Fresh.

This is my third and last time buying this box of seasoning. It is the best tasting taco seasoning I’ve had yet but the expiration date each time was within 3 months. I don’t make tacos enough to finish the entire box. I use maybe 2-3 packs before throwing away the seasoning so that is $4-6 a pack which is a bit much.
I hope the company starts selling 2-4 pack bundles on Amazon Fresh instead of 12 pack boxes.
