My review is for the immune defense version of this tea. I love the fact that all the ingredients are organic the smell is light and herbal but you can definitely smell the lemon and the other ingredients which I really do enjoy the aroma of this tea. But the bag is defective. This is my second bag and both bags have a broken reseal option. I’m not quite sure how it would reseal it doesn’t seem like there’s enough material in there and I really think it’s a defect in how the bag was made. But I am not going to take a star or any ratings off of the tea itself just because I have to put a clip on the bag to close it LOL I would definitely recommend and I am reordering

This is a very spicy tea. You can definitely taste the black pepper and the tumeric. It is a very fine blend and some of the content slips thru even the tightest mesh strainer. I initially used two teaspoons and it was way too much for my taste. I’ll use one teaspoon next time. I’ll also experiment with it as iced tea. It’s definitely a taste to acquire. I’m using it to see if it helps with joint inflammation. Before purchasing this I had been taking it in pill form. Time will tell.

When I opened this tea and smelled it in the bag, I had reservations about how it was going to taste, but to my surprise, it’s absolutely delicious! I used about 3 tablespoons for a full pot of tea (my pot makes about 4-5 good sized mugs) and it had a rich but not overpowering flavor that kind of settles over your tastebuds after you swallow, lingering briefly. The color is appropriate for the ingredients. The lemongrass makes it look a big twiggy, but that’s it’s nature. Everything will soften up during steeping. I love that this is all organic as well, and being a loose tea, I don’t need to worry about the micro-plastics in most tea bags on the market. At $12.95 for 4 oz., which doesn’t sound like a lot until you remember it’s made of herbs, flower petals, and grasses, all very light things, I feel it’s a great value for the money. All of the ingredients are known for detoxifying the body and organs, and in our urban environments especially, we can all use a little help in that department. So, get yourself some of this, a fine mesh stainless steel tea strainer (I got mine, a large one for my teapot, for only $7 here on Amazon) steep for about 5 minutes, and enjoy!

To further support our wellbeing – and that of the earth and the farmers who provide these delightful spices – I encourage the company to adopt a zero-plastic packaging option. Amazing! I baught another brand along with this one and this one had 2x the amount volume wise even though they were both supposed to be 4oz. Flavor is strong and love that it has no “natural flavors” in the ingredients.

My favorite tea to drink at night before bed. I enjoy having the variety pack and getting to change up what I have each night. The names are helpful in deciding based on your mood. Great ingredients and flavor. Highly recommend, especially if you want to start drinking hot tea but unsure of the kind you want. I have purchased many times now and recommend it to others as well. If the quality and organic aspects remain the same I plan to purchase many times again.
